At Mahi, we specialize in boat parties that cater to all your needs. We have two boats available, the Hannah Glover and the Finback. The Hannah Glover offers two spacious decks with a capacity of 150. The Finback is our 50-foot sightseeing vessel and provides a more intimate space. Glen Magna Farms is an elegant country estate with four restored gardens created during the 144-year occupancy by the Peabody and Endicott families. The estate, named after the Endicott family’s ancestral home in England, is an outstanding example of Colonial Revival architecture and its harmonious union with the landscape. The grand Colonial-Revival mansion is nestled on 11 lush acres of a country estate that contain award –winning formal gardens and the Derby Summer House – A National Historic Landmark.

Originally designed in 1880, Moraine Farm has been hailed as "the finest existing example of Frederick Law Olmsted's approach to planning a country estate" by pre-eminent Olmsted scholar Charles E. Beveridge. Olmsted created lawns, hedges, rustic stone walls, and a magnificent meadow – and collaborated with Boston architects Peabody and Stearns to design a massive stone terrace facing the lake, extending the shingle-and-stone house into the landscape. The farm took its name from a low ridge of glacial debris, called a moraine, which Olmsted used to provide an elevated vantage point for the paths and carriage drives that looped through 75 acres of coniferous forest, passed lake and meadow views, and climbed to an overlook on the edge of the 40-acre farm.

Long Hill is a property of The Trustees of Reservations, a Massachusetts non-profit corporation. From 1916 to 1979, Long Hill was the summer home of noted author and editor of The Atlantic Monthly, Ellery Sedgwick. He summered here with his first wife, Mabel Cabot Sedgwick, an accomplished horticulturist, gardener, and author of The Garden Month by Month, and his second wife, Marjorie Russell Sedgwick, a rare plants specialist—both of whom created a delightful, enchanting landscape, surrounded by more than 100 acres of woodland. Today, visitors delight in the beauty of Long Hill’s structured and naturalistic gardens as well as a network of woodland trails. A diverse collection of trees, shrubs, and distinctive perennial plants provide color during the growing season, peaking in May and June and providing structure and beauty throughout the year.
