My House Events is a women-owned catering + events company working in Los Angeles, New Orleans and San Francisco. We’re the caterer, but we don’t cook. We bring in chef partners we’ve built real relationships with and match one to your wedding, then handle the food, bar, staff, rentals and the timeline that holds it together. We actively work with BIPOC, women and LGBTQ+ chefs, which means the food at your wedding comes from someone with a point of view rather than a catering menu. Most of our weddings run between $125 and $200 per guest, all in, with tax and gratuity included. Nothing hiding at the bottom of the invoice.

Five years ago, I moved to Los Angeles and bought my first pizza truck with one goal: bring real New York–style pizza to the West Coast. Owens BBQ is real Texas barbecue, made in Los Angeles. I’m Ramon Owens. I was born in San Bernardino and raised in Houston by a single mom alongside three siblings, and Houston is where I learned the pit. In 2024 I opened Owens BBQ, and today we slow-smoke USDA Prime brisket, Duroc pork and Mary’s chicken over real wood for weddings, parties and family celebrations across LA and Orange County. Chef Jazzy is the private chef behind Anjahles Cali-Caribbean Cuisine, a special events-focused catering company blending fresh California ingredients with soulful Caribbean flavors. What began as a small pop-up in a Los Angeles park grew into a celebrated concept featured in the LA Times, Infatuation, Food Network’s “It’s Compliplated,” and Food & Wine. Today, she creates custom menus with plant-based and traditional options, happily accommodating all dietary needs so every guest feels cared for. With a background in anthropology and culinary arts, she loves turning each couple’s love story into a memorable meal.
