Jessie Lyn Photography

Hi I'm Jessie Your small-town, adventure enthusiast! I'm so glad you're here! What started as a fun way to connect with people while spending time outdoors has now become my obsession + full-time career. I've had the change to photograph weddings and elopements all across Utah, from the desert landscapes of Lake Powell to the mountain ranges of Park City.

Jessie is amazing. I’m so so glad I found her for our wedding and our adventure session. She’s fun and outgoing and not afraid to do some sketch things to get the shots we wanted! She’s the sweetest soul and so fun to just be around. She made my always anxious-hates taking photos-husband enjoy our sessions and was relaxed! Our photos are a DREAM, she’s so very talented and unique. And we haven’t gotten our full gallery back yet being the wedding was a week ago, but my friends and family are all telling me to call magazines cause the images are THAT GOOD. 1000/10! ️

The Talented Photographer was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding. From the very first interaction, Alec's communication style was fun, professional, and incredibly personable. He had a true passion for his craft that shone through in every interaction. The quality of Alec's work was absolutely stunning - we got a wonderful variety of candids, formal shots, and editorial-style pictures that captured all the special moments of our day. Alec has an incredible eye for the right shots, and the final photos are absolutely gorgeous. Despite a complicated location schedule that I was worried about, Alec made the whole day seamless, traveling to over 4 different spots to ensure we got all the groupings and special shots we wanted. Alec truly went above and beyond, and we had such a great time working with him. I'm obsessed with the pictures and would give him an 11/10 rating!

When I saw Ashley’s work I immediately loved her style. I was a little hesitant to reach out because our wedding was in Alaska and I knew that it was a big ask with her being based in Colorado. I’m so glad I did!! Ashley was super quick to respond and was so enthusiastic about our wedding, she made us even more excited! She was the easiest vendor to work with and by far our favorite! Our wedding photos turned out absolutely stunning even with crazy weather. Thank you so much Ashley!!

Scarlet Oak Studio
Rating: 4.9 (56 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $1,900
  • Serves Parowan, UT

We are a small studio dedicated to reliably capturing those moments that matter most. We're big believers that everyone deserves capture they'd enjoy for a lifetime. So whether photo, video, or both we always give the kind of capture only a team can give.

Awarded Best of Zola
Scarlet Oak Studio could not have been better to work with. They came recommended by our venue (Log Haven) and almost seemed too good to be true. Our photography and videography package was the same cost as just photography elsewhere and included multiple shooters and lighting. Linsey was our lead shooter and I truly can’t say enough good things about her and the rest of the team! Linsey is so full of joy and kept things fun and light but also on track. She called us prior to the wedding day so we could walk through all of our shots and make a detailed schedule. We had some concerns on timing and Linsey worked out a “fake send off” to capture the photos without stopping the party or having to add another hour to our package. Pictures can be tough for both me and my now husband so I was worried the photos would feel uncomfortable on the actual day but that could not have been further from the truth! The entire team was so kind and thoughtful, they captured every moment without feeling intrusive. They gave helpful direction without making things feel too posed or staged and gave us space during a private vows reading while still capturing the love in that moment. I wanted photos that felt true to the spirit of the day and I definitely think the joy radiates through each picture. I have had multiple friends message me specifically about how great the photos turned out - and I know you might be thinking everyone says that to the bride, but I’m talking about photos taken of my friends that they’re loving! So if Scarlet Oak Studio seems to be too good to be true don’t question it, just book it! :)

Victoria is an amazing photographer to work with! I found her on relatively short notice for my proposal (she said yes!) and had to change my plans due to inclement weather, to which Vic was flexible enough to accommodate. These recollections are your forever keepsakes, a chapter of your life's story. Every image accounts for those who were by your side, delighted for you, and the next step in your journey. I appreciate you for giving me a few moments of your time.t

I’m Edgar, an HTX-raised native with Salvadorian roots. I am the owner, creative director, and lead photographer at Anchor Studios Photography. I'm a wedding and elopement photographer based out of Pittsburgh, PA! However, the stories I capture don't start and end there. I love to travel to capture stories all around the world.

Edgar is the best! He was fun to be around and up for anything. He traveled hours to meet us and even went on a pretty buggy/muddy hike to capture the most incredible photos. We are both so awkward in front of a camera and he immediately made us comfortable - such an important skillset! We can't wait to see him again next June for our wedding, and have so much faith that he will hit it out of the park again!

Ali Cushing Photography

  • Serves Parowan, UT

My name is Ali Cushing; a NY-based photographer working in a blended documentary and editorial approach, emphasized with a cinematic method, and a personalized, true to life editing style. I am honored to be entrusted with depicting genuine love, authentic characters, and immortalizing precious memories. I see beauty in the subtle details as much as the wide, epic scene, while I see glory in the mundane in-between moments as much as the heart thudding highs. I am adamant that everyone, of all genders and orientations, any ethnicity, culture, or faith, all shapes, ages, and abilities, are welcome and I’d be delighted to work with you.

Awarded Best of Zola
We are introverted and were nervous about being photographed, but Ali made us feel comfortable from start to finish. She kept communication open and friendly throughout the entire process, which helped us feel at ease. On our wedding day, she went above and beyond—helping me with my shoes and offering to assist my husband with his tie. Ali captured the beautiful pictures we wanted based on our inspiration, even though we're not really photo people. She truly made our engagement and wedding photos special. We highly recommend Ali ! We loved our photos !!

I've been shooting weddings for almost 10 years. I often work with adventurous couples who look beyond what most of the wedding industry is selling and wanna start their own traditions. I've worked in huge east-coast ballrooms, on Mexican beaches, and at the edges of Moab cliffs. And I'll happily travel to wherever you're doing your own damn thing on your wedding day. I focus on capturing your favorite people in the world and giving you images that pull you right back into the feeling of the day. My style is natural, candid, and joyful, with some sassy editorial portraits and a whole lotta crazy dance floor shots.

We were looking for a wedding photographer who would be able to capture the most special moments of our day and who would create wedding photos that were also art, and WOW did Cory deliver! He was so helpful both leading up to our wedding day and on the day itself - we gave him a tight timeline the day of and he handled it so professionally and still made every moment so fun and stress free. He was honestly such a fun guest to have at the wedding, everyone was talking about how much they loved our photographer! And the photos were just perfect. They captured the love and the fun of the day so beautifully. The photos were unique compared to other photographers but also timeless - we had an incredibly difficult time picking our favorites! We truly could not recommend Cory highly enough!

Hi, I’m Isaac. In my world, light is everything. The cool ambient hues at dawn, hinting at what the day may bring. Golden sun rays catching particles through a tree as friends gathers to celebrate. A Cotton candy sunset peppered by patio string-lights as a DJ plays my favorite song. We all have timeless memories logged in our minds. For me, they are based in a language of light. As a wedding photographer, this deep connection to special lighting helps me produce dynamic visual stories of romance, personality and beauty.

Isaac did a wonderful job photographing our backyard wedding. He did a brilliant job capturing my visions as well as brought ideas of his own. We are very grateful we were able to book Isaac for our wedding, he truly immortalized the day and we have so many beautiful photos to reflect on for the rest of our lives.

We planned our wedding from all the way across the country (Florida to California) so we already had challenges. From the beginning, the price was great and the photos looked promising, so we decided to go for it and we are so glad we did! Turned out to be well worth it. Michael connected with us immediately, assured us he would make it happen and not to worry about a thing. We communicated over the phone and through email, he always answered every time I called, ready to listen and note my requests. The day of, the photographer Michael booked for us, Michaela Gardener drove hours to be there for our special day and even brought an assistant. She was willing to be hands on all day, treated my children like family and even stayed late to capture extra shots. Her experience shows from her work. Both the DJ and Photographer arrived early to set up and are experienced business owners. The photos are great quality and high resolution. They came out so beautiful, even with our imperfect family and little ones running around, she somehow made us look great. We are so satisfied and blown away by how the pictures turned out that every little thing that didn’t go as planned that day just melted away because the photos just perfectly captured our love and the great time our guests had. Wedding planning can be very stressful and chaotic and so I’m very glad we found someone to make this part of the wedding easy. All within our budget. Two less things we had to stress about and lucky we could trust Michael. Very happy with our experience

I without a doubt did the right thing by hiring Jones Media and choosing both Regina (photographer) and Kevin (videographer) to shoot our vow renewal at Paddlefish at Disney Springs in Orlando, FL. They both brought the energy and the hype, and they have the absolute best personalities. They were incredibly professional the entire time, and I had no idea that they had never worked together before my event! They collaborated seamlessly, bouncing ideas off one another and making everything even more perfect. They honestly didn’t feel like hired vendors—they felt like guests we invited who were having just as much fun as we were, while still staying completely on task. To top it off, they are complete lifesavers. The night before our renewal, we hit a major hiccup. Due to a last-minute policy change at our Disney resort, our third-party vendors were suddenly not permitted on the property. With no other choice, I had to cancel our resort reservations late at night and move everything back to my parents' timeshare. I immediately messaged Kevin and Regina about the last-minute location change. The next morning, they both showed up right on time and completely ready to go. Because we kept our original timeline, the new location meant we were a little farther away from the venue, but neither Kevin nor Regina ever made us feel rushed. We just pivoted, and they went completely above and beyond—even staying a little past their scheduled end time to make up for the chaos the night before. In the Disney world, we call that Pixie Dust, and they definitely brought it with them. If I had to do this all over again, I’d choose them again and again. I can’t wait to see how the final photos and video turn out. Thank you, Jones Media!

Big fan of dive bars, staring at the stars, forever searching for the best french fries, a blissfully cold Diet Coke, and a true midwestern why fly it's only 15 hours. You'll find me often traveling, spending time in nature, collecting rocks and shopping for vintage t-shirts. I love carefree messy in between moments, photographing my daily life on polaroids and film. I've lived a lot of places (Arizona, Arkansas, and Puerto Rico to name a few!) and have so many places that I treasure and feel at home.

When I was in the throes of wedding planning over a year ago, I was reaching out to vendors and putting payments down for June 2, 2024, and was crossing my fingers my deployed fiancé would even be able to attend, thanks to his unpredictable schedule. Amidst the stress (and borderline panic attacks!!) I was having because of that, I was also receiving a lieu of impersonal emails with quotes from photographers. When I got the email back from Jessica, she was the only one who answered with excitement and personality, and gave me a sense that this was supposed to be FUN. All this wedding planning was a very lucky sort of stress, and she didn’t make me feel like I was just some box to check off in her inbox— she was personable and friendly, and I liked her immediately. For the course of the year, Jessica and I kept up with eachother with texts, messages, and Instagram— and I felt like she was already a friend when June arrived. Even after her 12 hour journey to Virginia, she was full of energy and ready to go. She helped adjust some coordination timelines and caught things that I otherwise wouldn’t have. She hung out with my rambunctious family all weekend, witnessing our love and laughter, WIDE range of personalities, and even some sisterly tiffs. Honestly, she whole-heartedly became part of our crew. She ran everything past me when it came to details. Duke and I are not people who are comfortable in front of a camera, and I LOVED having her specifically tell us what to do to look good, while still feeling incredibly relaxed and natural around her. Duke and I kept saying she had Jedi powers the way she was able to flip cameras, batteries and equipment seamlessly. I’m writing this while in the airport leaving our honeymoon, and not only did Duke and I, and our families fall in love with Jessica— I still have guests reaching out to me via text to tell me how they hit it off with her on their own, how impressed they were with her ethic, or how they loved pictures from our sneak peek (eeeek!) I am not a girl who naturally feels pretty or comfortable in front of a camera. Jessica gave me the gift of finally experiencing both of those things on our special day. I felt beautiful and at ease. She captured the bridal portraits that I hope my great grandkids will put in their family tree projects for school one day, some of Dukes family and mine meeting for the first time, friends dancing, and our grandparents mingling and giving us their love. Duke and I knew our big white wedding would be our one chance to have everyone we love in one place. We are well aware of the rarity in that, and the fact that we don’t have much longer with some of those people we love. We’re well aware that these are the photos Duke and I will be looking at with our grandchildren when we’re old and grey, thinking about “the good ol’ days.” These photos are all we will have left one day of the people we love so fiercely, and these versions of ourselves. We will endlessly be grateful for Jessica of her effort and the labor that went into photographing a weekend like ours. She captured every single aspect of us and those we love, and above all us, gave us the gift of memory. 3 Faith and Duke

Wow… I don’t even know where to start, but the stars literally aligned with Dani (and Jed) from Elle & Co Photography. I found Dani while scrolling bridal Facebook groups, which can be… a lot. Trying not to assume the worst from all the horror stories. I came across her and immediately knew she was it. I sent the message and crossed my fingers. Her photos were exactly the vibe we were going for. We chose to elope near Sleeping Bear Dunes for a reason… the color of the water, the fall tones, all of it. And Mother Nature gave us the most imperfectly perfect day. Wind, sand, rain… you name it. THANKFULLY we had Dani to capture it all. The amount of time, energy, and care she put into our day (and our reception back in Indy... we booked her for both) was beyond anything we expected. Her communication was top notch. She scouted, scouted, and then scouted again. Plans, backup plans, backup backup plans… which we absolutely needed. Most importantly she kept us on. time! We literally showed up to our ceremony spot and got hit with a “nope, not today” thanks to a government shutdown… even though we had permits and confirmations. But Dani already had her little hidden gem location ready to go, and it ended up being incredible. Like… better than what we had originally planned. And let’s talk about the conditions… late October on Lake Michigan, 25 mph winds, sand flying everywhere, and easily 10,000 steps trekking through dunes to chase the best views. Dani was everywhere at once making sure we got every shot. And Jed… running through sand like he trained for this moment. The two of them together are the dream team. Whatever it takes, they make it happen. They didn’t miss a single moment. From travel time to the ceremony, to the little in-between shots… even getting the perfect fall leaves shot with the Sleeping Bear Dunes sign (yes, it took a plenty of tries and yes, it was worth it). Champagne, lanterns, sparklers back at the domes… they captured all of it. And gave us just enough direction so we looked our best without ever feeling staged. And even after all of that, Dani went back and edited like crazy to balance out the fact that while we "looked fine"… we were most definitely freezing. The final photos are unreal. Our day was made by friends, family, and chosen family… and we’re so happy to add Dani and Jed to that circle. #PhotosToFriends for life!

Hello lovely! Let me introduce myself—I’m Sarah. Welcome to my little creative space—I hope you love it here & make yourself at home. My goal as your photographer is to put you at ease and therefore be able to capture your moments authentically and beautifully. As a film and digital photographer ("hybrid" if you will!), I take a big step back to capture your memories with intention, love, and honesty - my promise to you, is to treat your day as if it were my own. Film is my favorite medium to capture wedding days on, as I feel it brings back a level of authenticity, imperfection, and refined elegance that is irreplaceable.

From the moment we booked Fox & Fig Photography for our wedding, their communication was phenomenal and they were always quick to respond to any questions we had. Their work is simply gorgeous - exactly the style we were looking for to capture our special day. On the wedding day, they made both my husband and I feel at ease, even though we are a bit awkward in front of the camera. They provided excellent guidance on posing and helped us look our best. Fox & Fig was incredibly supportive and patient with us as a nervous couple. We are thrilled with the sneak peeks of our photos and can’t wait for the whole product! I can NOT recommend Fox & Fig enough.

Diana was such an amazing photographer/resource through it all! She has so much knowledge about the areas she works in and was truly a great person to work with. I have an unfettered adoration for this journey we call life. It’s the uncontrollable belly laughs at inside jokes. It’s the mountain vistas and the smell of sagebrush burning in a desert bonfire. It’s the cozy Sunday snuggles with your partner and puppy. All of it. It’s so sweet. I’m a Salt Lake City and Park City Wedding Photographer who proudly calls Utah home. I also love destination weddings and elopements. Honestly, I can’t imagine doing anything else other than photography. It’s a joy to capture meaningful moments and create art with amazing humans from all over the world!

Adventurous, creative, rad, and oh so fabulous. Austen Diamond Photography was an absolute dreamboat for our mountain wedding!! ️ My now husband and I are hikers, skiers, and love the outdoors. When we saw Austen’s portfolio, we were beyond excited to meet with him. Once we met with him, we knew he was the guy for the job!!  As an adventurous duo, we were very inspired by Austen’s heart for travel and epic photos of his own journey as well as his ability to capture others moments so authentically. We wanted to relive the day in a way that didn’t feel staged, but felt like moments of our wedding and our loved ones were captured candidly so we could feel the love we felt that day for a lifetime! Austen did just that, with what felt like a picture of every single guest in one moment or another. We saw so many special memories in his photos that we are so thrilled to have! We also had some sentimental items that we wanted to have photographed and he managed to create a very special in-person moment that honored my father’s memory and I am forever grateful to look back on that photo.  We had both Austen and his wife, Kylie, for our wedding day coverage and they were such a fantastic team! Kylie brought the warmest energy to the day and even helped fix my dress when it was slipping before the ceremony. With the two of them there they were able to photograph every aspect of the wedding day, including guests coming up the ski lift, getting ready photos, mountaintop ceremony, indoor reception (with somehow flawless photos in a dim lit room), etc. The sheer volume of excellent photos is a testament to their great skills and partnership!  Austen’s communication was spot on. He kept us in the loop leading up to the day, coordinated very well with our wedding planner and videographer, and was very communicative after the day! Not to mention, he’s down to earth while simultaneously being as cool as they come. What a stellar combo. Thank you Austen for being such a huge part of our special day! Cheers.
