“We only needed to tour one venue, and it was Blenheim. After our initial walkthrough of the space, we were convinced that this was everything that we could want in a venue and then some. Having over 12 years of wedding planning experience, Min and Morten offered us assurance that our wedding day would be executed beautifully- and it was. The Blenheim family were incredibly detail-oriented, clear, and responsive during the planning process. They guided us through multiple virtual meetings, providing extensive planning documents to ensure our day would run smoothly. As a person that doesn't love planning, they supported me and offered suggestions- making sure that the day would flow effortlessly. Their natural, open, and beautifully rustic venue was the ideal location for our special celebration; the venue itself reflected us as a couple and we have not stopped receiving compliments on the venue and the attentive and personable staff at Blenheim. The food was absolutely delicious - our guests raved about the amazing appetizers during cocktail hour. We had many last-minute changes and the Blenheim team did not miss a beat in executing our every wish. We are so grateful to have found Blenheim Hill Farm and we cannot thank them enough for making our wedding day perfect in every way!”

“Defiance Hall is a remarkable setting for a special event. Having attended a Scottish dinner there, I was amazed at the meticulous renovations that have gone into preserving and repurposing this spacious historic building, once a 1820's sawmill located between Forts Crown Point and Ticonderoga. The attention to detail and quality of the work and interior furnishings are impressive while rustic and comfortable, not to mention the fact that War Cannon Spirits produces fine small batch whiskeys and bourbons in their nearby distillery! Having worked with the owner to help organize the Burns Night dinner, I can also say that the crew is easy and pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend choosing this venue for weddings and special events, it truly is a gem!”

“One of the most beautiful things that came out of the weekend was watching our friends become friends with each other. People who had been complete strangers before our wedding are now flying to visit each other without even needing us to be there. What more could you ask for? The Maples gave everyone the space to relax, connect, laugh, and actually be together for an entire weekend - and that is something we never could have created anywhere else. What makes The Maples even more special is the community Katie has built around it. The relationships she has formed with people throughout the town and upstate are priceless, and they became such an important part of our wedding experience. These aren't just vendors on a preferred-vendor list—they are incredible people who genuinely care. We sent our wedding guests to Middleburgh Coffee Company during the weekend for coffee, and the owner, Dasha, hand-delivered honey from her bees to us the day after our wedding as a thank-you. In what world does that happen?! Rob from Rob's Roasts sent bags of coffee to our apartment before the wedding so we could taste different roasts and choose what we wanted. Brian from the Dumpling Wagon let us sample everything during one of our planning meetings with Katie. Paloma, our florist, absolutely blew us away - we were genuinely speechless the first time we saw what she had created at the reception, and Katie's vision for the pavilion was pure magic. And the care didn't stop when the wedding started. Our bar stayed open an extra 15 minutes just for us. At our family croquet party and welcome party the day before, Richard from Bars Without Boundaries stayed open for the entire time, foregoing our scheduled 3 hour break and would literally come out and hand-deliver drinks to us in the middle of a croquet game. Our photographer, Shelby, stayed an entire extra hour because she wanted to capture our T-shirt toss and sent us previews that same night. These little things might sound small, but they are exactly what made the entire weekend feel so unbelievably special. We had so many guests tell us that it was the best and most authentic wedding they had ever attended. That word - authentic - means so much to us because that was exactly what we wanted. We wanted a wedding that felt like us, and Katie somehow understood that from our very first conversation. We would not change a single thing. If you are considering The Maples Estate, choose it. Choose Katie and Louis. You will have the most beautiful, joyful, completely personal wedding imaginable, and you will get to actually enjoy every second of it. We cannot recommend them highly enough. Our wedding weekend was truly utter magic, and we will be forever grateful to Katie, Louis, their incredible team, and the entire community they've built around The Maples for giving us the best weekend of our lives.”

Twelve Ponds is a 105 acre private estate wedding venue in the Catskills, where ponds, wildflower meadows, a restored farmhouse, a barn, and a stone arch look out over open hills. We host one wedding at a time, and every booking is a full-weekend buyout. The property is yours Friday through Sunday, so the rehearsal dinner, the ceremony, the reception, and a slow Sunday morning by the water all happen in one place. No shared grounds, no six-hour window that rushes you through your own wedding. Couples marry in the meadow, at the pond, or at the arch depending on the season and the light. Fall brings color across the hills, and summer evenings run long and gold. Bring the caterer you love. We have a full commercial kitchen and supply all the tables, chairs, plates, glassware and cutlery for any occasion. Twelve Ponds is for couples who want a wedding weekend, not a wedding day. Send your date and guest count and we’ll tell you honestly whether we’re the right fit.

What really impressed us was how the venue offered multiple spaces that gave us flexibility in designing our day exactly how we wanted it. The staff checked in consistently to make sure everything was running smoothly, and their attention kept us stress-free leading up to the wedding. The property itself is genuinely cool, with interesting architectural details that made for stunning photos and created a unique atmosphere for our guests. We loved working with this team and would absolutely recommend Twelve Ponds to any couple looking for a venue that feels both fun and reliable.”

“Seven Ponds Farm is the first and only venue that my fiance and I toured. We weren't even set on getting married within the next year, but we happened to find Seven Ponds online and figured we would tour. We fell in love immediately. We knew we wanted a few things out of whatever space we found: 1) somewhere we could have a weekend event with onsite accommodations, 2) good food and beverage, and 3) beautiful scenery. Seven Ponds was all of this and more. They have streamlined the planning process so that you truly do not need a wedding planner, and with food and beverage being included in the package, it's just that much less to plan. We got to the venue on Thursday and were able to enjoy the house, swim in the pond, and prep the space at our leisure. The day of, everything went seamlessly thanks to their stellar team of coordinators and staff. Guests are still telling me what a perfect day it was. Min and Morten (the owners) are so kind and are genuinely invested in making sure you are happy with everything. Book this venue, I promise you will not regret it!!”

“From the moment we walked into River Stone Manor for only our second venue tour, my husband and I knew this was the place for us. The space is just absolutely beautiful and has so many unique attributes, like the Manor House, that make all parts of the day special. We truly had the best day of our lives, and we are forever grateful to Carly and the entire River Stone team for making it so unforgettable. The communication throughout the entire planning process was exceptional. Carly was always responsive, organized, and so reassuring, making what could have been a stressful process feel effortless. On the day of, Carly, Heather, and Ashley were all checking in to make sure we had everything we needed from the second we arrived. Our wedding day didn't bring the best weather, but the team was incredibly patient with us as we made decisions. When we ultimately chose to move everything inside, they transformed the space into something absolutely breathtaking. It was even more beautiful than we could have imagined and worked out perfectly. We don't have an ounce of sadness as the inside space is truly just as beautiful. The food was phenomenal, every single guest raved about it, and everyone left happy and full. The service was outstanding from start to finish. Totally recommend the french fry bar to end the evening! A special shoutout to Laurie, one of our awesome bartenders! She was incredible. She somehow remembered everyone's drink orders and made every guest feel welcome. Even now, people are still telling us how amazing she was. River Stone Manor gave us a wedding day that exceeded every single expectation. We can't thank Carly and the entire team enough for their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. “When we first booked Glen Sanders, someone told my mother that Glen Sanders runs like a well-oiled wedding machine. They were spot on. Glen Sanders knows weddings. Every vendor was thrilled to hear we were working with them. They made the entire process so easy, so clear. Maki, our bridal attendant, was INCREDIBLE. She greeted us off the bus with our champagne flutes, made sure I was hydrated all during photos, helped me with my dress, and brought me down my sneakers at the reception, among many other things. Glen Sanders also sets up all of your cocktail hour Hors d'œuvres in a separate room for you to eat before going to your reception, and it was the moment my husband and I needed to catch our breath and feel "present" for the rest of the night. People often say their wedding was a blur, but we remember every detail thanks to that moment to pause. As for the venue itself, all of our guests still talk about how great of a setup it was. We got ready on-site (groomsmen downstairs, bridesmaids upstairs, MOG got her hair done in the salon downstairs), our cocktail hour outside and on the enclosed porch, the reception in the ballroom, our after party in the basement bar (Speak-easy vibes!), and then we stayed up with close friends and siblings around the fire until the early hours before going to sleep in our rooms on-site! Glen Sanders is certainly a one-stop shop for everything, and their product is unparalleled. Thank you, GSM team, for the best night of our lives! -Elaina and Bill”

“We got married at M&D Farm in August of 2024. It's hard to put into words just how magical our wedding was. When you pull into M&D you are instantly transported to a tranquil oasis. We knew as soon as we got pulled into their driveway the day of our visit that this was the place we'd be getting married. What we'd soon learn was that not only would we be saying yes to a beautiful venue, but an all star team! The care Daniel and Mario put into M&D is evident in everything from the flowers to the furniture! Every detail is carefully curated while feeling completely natural and seamless. They have great pride in their home and gardens and tend to it with love, care, and dedication. Daniel and Mario were such a pleasure to work with from start to finish. They are the ultimate professionals, yet also so kind and warm. Couples are so incredibly lucky to get to work with them. Daniel brought out my best creativity and organizational skills, making me think about countless things I would never have considered. We hired Daniel to be our day of coordinator, which is a decision I would highly recommend. No one knows M&D and the local vendors better than him. His recommendations were all stellar and he made suggestions while also listening to us and honoring our vision. He worked with us to be thorough and organized and the result was the most perfect day. Everyone always says to be prepared for things to go wrong on your wedding day. In our eyes, and our guests' eyes, nothing went wrong. Everything was spectacular! That is completely thanks to Daniel! We are so appreciative and in awe of him. Looking back at photos feels like a never ending "pinch me" moment of sheer perfection. Mario and Daniel have created a little slice of heaven. If you are reading this, please take it as a sign to set up a visit and see for yourself!”

“The Inn at West Settlement, lead by owner and DOC, Kim Lynas, was a dream come true! Kim and her team were amazing. They have curated a gorgeous venue, with incredible landscape and beautiful reception barn. The Farmhouse was a wonderful space to stay and get ready. The barn was the perfectly sized space for our 130 person wedding. Kim had an awesome room of decorations for us to use for our decor needs. We really didn’t need to add anything! From candle holders, table numbers, tons of signs, card boxes, flower vases. The Inn works exclusively with Mary’s Cookin’ catering and Rachel’s bartending team. Their experience and thorough knowledge of the space makes for a smooth and professional service experience for all your food and beverage needs. Kim was open-minded and excited about the vendors we did bring in, helping us pick photographers and DJs from previous weddings she thought would match our vibe. She coordinated with all the vendors seamlessly. Having the space for the entire weekend, including a Friday welcome dinner and Sunday farewell brunch was the perfect way to extend an amazing wedding into a three day event. Friday morning was spent with Kim and her team, putting together bouquets from her incredible flower garden and picking out decor from her collection to create the perfect wedding aesthetic to match our dream look. I can’t say thank you enough to this team! Kim, Danny, Areley, Katrina and many more!”

He always responded right away and was happy to give advice and recommendations when we asked. His day of coordinator Rachel was incredible and made us feel so well taken care of. She was there anytime we needed anything and helped the timeline run exactly to plan. The grounds are beautifully taken care of and the barn is so stunning it speaks for itself. I hardly needed any decor to make it feel magical. The ceremony site near the pond was the perfect backdrop. Our guests had a wonderful time by the fire pit and we danced the night away in the barn. Cleanup at the end of the night was arranged and my husband and I didn’t have to worry about a thing! We would highly recommend this venue!!”

“The Lucy Brate Barn at Mead Family Farm was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we reached out, they were quick to respond, flexible, and accommodating. The venue itself is stunning, with a scenic, historic, and peaceful setting that made our special day feel truly magical. They handled every detail in a calm, professional manner, making our day seamless and helping us stay relaxed. They truly listened to our vision. It was perfect to have the ceremony outside because the setting is so beautiful. However, we had a rain plan that would have been equally lovely. We had a mobile bar that pulled up right outside the barn, and our guests simply walked outside to get a drink. Nancy and team put up a tent right next to the bar, with lounge chairs and bar tables. We had the barn doors open the entire evening, which provided a nice breeze and allowed our guests to mingle outside and still feel part of the gathering. They were there throughout the wedding day and helped with all the vendors, which made it much easier for us. I can't imagine having our wedding anywhere else - they are so accommodating and gracious, and we are so grateful to have had our wedding in such a special place.”
