“DJ Stirfry was THE BEST. I cannot recommend him enough!! We wanted a very "low touch" DJ experience -- sort of like a house party style -- and he did an INCREDIBLE job. The night felt totally magic and the dance floor was completely full all night long! Throughout the process, DJ Stirfry was communicative and thoughtful and really worked with us to get a sense of the atmosphere we were trying to create and then nailed it! He also was really focused on creating a good sound experience throughout the night, and he set up three different sound areas so that music flowed across the ceremony, dinner, and dancing. “Overall, we had a good experience with our DJ. He arrived on time, was professional throughout the evening, and kept our guests on the dance floor for most of the night. The music flowed well, and everyone seemed to have a great time. That said, I did spend a lot of time carefully selecting songs that were meaningful to us, and I was a little disappointed that many of those selections weren't played. Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. Despite those concerns, he was friendly, punctual, and our guests clearly enjoyed themselves. If having a lively dance floor is your top priority, he does a good job creating a fun atmosphere.”

“I would highly recommend this band! It was so easy to work with them, so many different options to choose from and flexibility with what we could have in a band, and the people we worked with throughout are so personable! We worked with David during our wedding planning, and he was amazing! He was patient, kind, creative, and very experienced! He was very responsive, and him and the band was able to accommodate our last minute additions/changes! On the day of, the band was truly amazing! We gave minimal instructions but once we arrived, the band & MC were already set up and playing. They were professional, and knew exactly what to do & integrated well with our other vendors! The MC (who was also one of the singers) was also perfect and was able to transition different parts of our day seamlessly, and was clearly experienced with these events. The music choices were tailored during the planning process, and we loved the music that they played, and the way they played it! Everyone in the band were amazing musicians, they kept the vibes happy and we & our family and friends had so much fun! I would say for the price we paid, the band on the day of, and with the planning and collaboration throughout, it was 100% reasonable and worth it! From the start David’s communication was quick and thorough-answering every question we had with ease and making the hiring and contract process smooth. His attention to detail and expertise allowed us to fix a timeline error that would have impacted the flow of the reception in a noticeable way! We selected a 5 piece band for our reception with a female vocalist that also plays the piano and she surprised us by bringing her saxophone!!! (I wish I could remember her name!!) While they have a MASSIVE song list to choose from the will learn up to 3 new songs for your first dance, father/daughter and mother/son The reception was amazing they read the room and played so many different styles of music and kept the energy HIGH! While the highlight was the live band, we also hired SCL to DJ our ceremony and cocktail hour-they allowed me to make a playlist for each however also offered to use one of their playlists if you don’t have the time to create one. It was great to know this was taken care of without any issues! Other notable perks is they have a large travel radius before charging for distance and they don’t require a stage as long as there is a dedicated space away which helped with expenses! They played music 30 minutes before for FREE! They put mics on the Pastor and my Groom Charles so we could be heard. The music was timed perfectly.
