We had Rocket Entertainment handle our music and DJ duties, and DJ Magic Mic was assigned to us for the night. From our first conversation, the team was communicative and easy to work with, taking time to understand what we wanted for our reception. Magic Mic showed up prepared and kept the energy going all night long without being over the top. He read the room perfectly and played exactly the right songs at exactly the right moments. We were thrilled with how he handled everything, and our guests had a blast dancing. Rocket Entertainment made our celebration feel special and we'd recommend them to any couple looking for a solid DJ.

Best in the business
DJ Magic Mic was great to work with. Rocket entertainment makes it very easy to pick your favorite songs for the special moments like cake cutting, walking down the aisle, dedicated songs, etc. He kept the dance floor packed and we had people tell us it was the most fun wedding they have been to and how many people stayed on the dance floor. We couldn’t have down it with out Magic Mic!

We Should Have Used Spotify
We were assigned DJ Heize for our wedding, and unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. Before the wedding, I reviewed our timeline, special moments, and music selections with her in detail. I had carefully planned the music and provided clear instructions, and she assured me she was fully prepared. Unfortunately, problems started during the ceremony. DJ Heize played the recessional music at the wrong time, and we had to call out to get her attention because she was on her phone. This disrupted a special family presentation and created confusion during one of the most important moments of the day. During the reception, I had planned a surprise dance honoring my grandparents’ 62nd wedding anniversary. I specifically reviewed this with DJ Heize beforehand, and she assured me she understood the plan. Instead of simply playing the designated music, she invited everyone onto the dance floor and unintentionally ruined the surprise. Later in the evening, we were preparing for our staged exit. Although we were running behind schedule, DJ Heize knew the exit was about to happen and guests were already getting into position. We still had to get her attention before the exit music was played. After the exit, I had requested that certain music not be played until I returned. When I came back, the music was already playing. My Matron of Honor then informed me that DJ Heize had asked to leave because “this is sad,” despite knowing that we had only stepped away briefly and intended to continue the celebration. We paid approximately 1,800 for 5.5 hours of DJ services. I understand that no wedding is perfect and that unexpected issues happen. However, I did not expect to spend so much of the day managing responsibilities that should have been handled by the professional we hired. The repeated mistakes during key moments, failure to follow clearly communicated instructions, and lack of attention throughout the event made this one of the most disappointing vendor experiences of our wedding. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend DJ Heize.

Worth every penny!
We are so grateful for the ease of working with Rocket Entertainment. They have set up such a great system for designing the flow, layout & vibe of every part of the day. Our DJ, DJ Mayham, was amazing & we got so many compliments on how well he kept the party going.

Great DJ Service!
We loved working with DJ Dilly Dilly and the team at Rocket Entertainment for our wedding. Their communication was frequent, efficient and informative throughout the planning process. On the day of, they provided a great custom mix for my father-daughter dance that was perfect, and their transitions were really smooth and seamless. Our guests raved about the music and the easy-going vibe they created. We found them to be easy to work with and they received compliments from our wedding coordinator as well. Their app makes song selections a breeze! Highly recommend Rocket Entertainment for any couple looking for a DJ who will help make their special day unforgettable.
