We had our wedding on September 5, 2025, and it was absolutely perfect! The venue was breathtaking — everything we dreamed of and more. Megan and Corinne worked closely with our coordinator to ensure everything went smoothly, and they truly made the day feel effortless. I had my wedding Astoria Banquet Hall and it was absolutely incredible. Throughought the process, the management team (Max, in particular) was very helful in all regards. He made us feel welcomed, always reassured us, and always knew the answer to our questions before we even asked them. Instructions, choices, layout and format was all very clear. It was very helpful to a Type-A planner like myself. My wife and I had had our food tasting and the Chef was very friendly. He made us feel at home and the food was incredible. He and his staff made sure that all food accomodations were taken care of. On the day of the wedding, the staff was so kind and welcoming. They assisted us immediately in whatever we needed. It felt like we were working with Family. We recommend Astoria to any and all who want to have an amazing venue for any special event. But as always, you reap what you sow. We made sure that we and our party gave the up-most respect to Astoria Staff and Crew, and because of that, we were met with equal, if not more, kindness and respect! We're very grateful for them!

Jerry and his crew made out wedding day incredible! They helped run the whole day, they got the guests seated, kept everything on schedule, and ensured that Ben and I didn't have to worry about anything. When our flowergirl got stage-fright right before walking down the aisle, Jerry swooped in to save the day and helped her find her mom. We initially didn't plan to do a grand entrance into the reception, but Jerry and the DJ (Megan from Music that Moves) made one happen last-minute so our flower girl could have a second shot ar throwing her petals. You're not just getting a venue at Parkway, you're getting a whole team who will make your event run smoothly. If we ever do a vow renewal or anniversary party, we will be back!

LouLou rocks. We love Lula Cafe so no surprise LouLou was perfect. Everyone we worked with was so generous with the time they gave us to answer our questions or do walk throughs (it honestly felt like we had a wedding planner in their coordinator). The space itself is cozy, intimate and chic, and the staff was so genuinely kind on our wedding day. The food was out of control - had no business being so good. If you're looking for a venue, this is your sign. 10 out of 10 no notes.

We are so grateful we had the Fairlie as our wedding venue. The entire team is amazing and so helpful. It is a stunning and reasonably priced location. We did not have a wedding planner nor coordinator and I feel that was possible because of the help of the great Fairlie team - Alison, Alexis, and Orlando were amazing. They helped us build out our day of timeline and helped so much with last minute items that came up. We had no clue who to choose as a caterer & it was great that their team requires you to work with one of their preferred caterers - we could not have been happier with the caterer we met because of the Fairlie. Because they do this - everything is seamless. Our guests could not stop commenting on how gorgeous of a venue the Fairlie is. Choose the Fairlie - it's the most beautiful venue in Chicago!

10/10!!! If we could get married 10 times over again, we would be at Walden 10 times more. Walden was the most perfect wedding venue from start to finish. The main thing that we were looking for in a venue was an all inclusive vibe that would allow for as little planning and stress as possible, as neither of us were really into the whole wedding planning thing. Walden was just that. The wedding planners that you work with from the beginning, make it so easy to stay on track. the app that they use was super helpful to make sure that everything was organized and things are done according to the best timeline. We never once felt stressed out about the whole wedding planning process and that really says a lot about Walden and how great they are. Big shout out to Krystle and Alyssa for making the process so seamless and making sure we were supported. The other important piece of criteria that we wanted was on site catering so that our guests would have the best experience from a food perspective. The food was phenomenal! Our guests raved about how great it was, saying it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. The bar was the best wedding bar I’ve ever seen. The drink selection was on point, with amazing cocktails and the bar staff was incredible. A huge shout out to bartender Amy, who made sure that both of us had drinks in our hand the entire night! Walden is so thoughtful in their entire approach from making sure you are taken care of months before the wedding, to the day of the wedding, giving you space to have a cocktail, appetizer, and a breather before the party starts! We are obsessed with this venue and we really hope that one day we get invited back to someone else’s wedding there so we can relive the wonderful experience that we had!

I couldn't be happier with our decision to book The Carter as our wedding venue! The staff made the night go flawlessly. My wedding coordinator even commented how impressed she was with how quick their staff was able to move throughout setup during the day. She also complimented the catering coordinator as being a complete pro. With The Carter you are required to use their caterer, D'Absolute, but that was not a problem for us because the food was phenomenal. Wedding food can be hit or miss, but we had multiple guests raving about everything from the apps to the late night snacks. Chris allowed us to include 2 signature drinks and customized our bar menu to whatever we wanted. Since I got married on my birthday Chris even upgraded our glassware free of charge which was such a sweet, unexpected gesture! They are very flexible with how you want to use the space, which I loved because we were able to make the event truly unique. What sold me on the space is that you don't need to add much additional decor because it's so beautiful on its own. The connecting courtyard comes with string lights. The interior space includes multiple chandeliers and string lights over the dance floor. Most other places you'd need to bring those details in, and pay for them. What I also love about the space is you get the "lofty, urban" feel without all of the pillars/poles in a typical loft space. You get high ceilings and an open floor plan, which makes the space look so much nicer (in my opinion). The cost is a little pricier than other venues we explored, however I 100% think we paid for higher quality and I have zero regrets.

Royal Palms has always held a special place in our hearts. At the beginning of our relationship, I joined a league with my now-husband’s best friends. Shuffleboard (and Shuffleboard Bobs) brought us together, and they welcomed me into the group. We were league regulars and made some great memories, even though we rarely won a game. When we got engaged, we knew we wanted an untraditional wedding experience and were so excited that Royal Palms was willing to host us - their first wedding! Their events coordinator, Taylor, was just as enthusiastic and worked closely with us to plan an incredible event. We walked down a shuffleboard aisle on the roof while the Blue Line passed behind us, making for some incredible photos. Captain Scott gave our guests tutorials while they ate Big Star tacos from a truck and drank amazing cocktails. The energy was incredible, and it meant the world to us to see our families and friends connecting over rounds of shuffleboard. Hosting was easy - the space is already so beautiful that we did not bring in any decorations! No flowers or linens needed. Catering from a food truck was fun and unique. The photo station was fully stocked with props. The AV equipment was ready for a DJ and we kept our custom playlist bumping all night. The bartenders kept energy high and drinks flowing all night (truly the best bar in the city, in my opinion!). We danced and ate and played for hours. Our guests still talk about this night to this day. It was a party to remember, which is exactly what we wanted. Even better than the wonderful memories, pictures, and stories is the fact that we can go back whenever we want to relive the night. Even after two kids, we still make a point of playing a round of shuffleboard every year on our anniversary - it will be 6 years this fall! We cannot thank the Royal Palms staff enough for working with us. They are high-energy and fun, and they are also professional and take their clients’ experience very seriously. You would never know ours was their first wedding - they had every single detail covered, resulting in a seamless night. I look back on that night with nothing but happy memories. I wouldn’t change a single thing!

Lisa and her team are, hands down, the best group of people I have ever met and would hire them 100% again and again. Lisa ensured she understood what our vision was by asking thorough and detailed questions. She went above and beyond contacting our venue and all necessary vendors to make sure everything ran smoothly. If there was ever an issue, she solved it without worrying us. And the day of our wedding, several of our guests informed us how amazing her and her teams’ service, professionalism, and how invested she is… not to mention how delicious all the food was, requiring seconds and thirds!!! There aren’t enough words to explain how phenomenal Lisa and her team are and how if it weren’t for Lisa, we wouldn’t have had the wedding of our dreams come true.

We just had our wedding at Formento’s and were *amazed* by the space, food, service, vibes and overall experience. We were shocked they can fit 120 people for a wedding (or even 130 if you’re okay getting a bit cozy)—and we were so thrilled we could have a larger guest list *and* restaurant-quality (very quality!!) food and drink. Don’t pay to rent a space and bring in meh food. Have your wedding at Formento’s you will never regret it!! I recently attended a wedding industry networking event at Magik Street, and the space truly lives up to its name. From the moment you walk in, there’s an unmistakable creative energy that feels modern, artistic, and just a little bit unexpected in the best way. The vibe strikes a perfect balance between upscale and approachable, making it ideal for both professional mingling and genuine connection. The decor feels intentionally curated without being overdone. It’s the kind of venue that feels like a blank canvas while still having a strong identity, it felt perfect for weddings or styled events where ambiance matters. The space felt inspired, comfortable, and engaging. It encouraged conversation naturally, with a layout that allowed guests to flow easily. The outdoor patio space was a huge plus, we enjoyed being able to step out and enjoy the firepits! . The food was a big highlight. The passed appetizers were thoughtfully presented, elevated bites that felt both creative and satisfying. The stations were equally impressive, offering a variety of options that catered to different tastes. I hadn’t seen live food stations at a networking event before it was a nice touch! Everything felt intentional and well-executed, adding to the overall experience rather than just filling a requirement. Overall, Magik Street delivered not just a venue for our event, but an experience. It’s a space that fosters connection, creativity, and memorable experience, especially notable for events rooted in design and celebration like in the wedding industry. Hope to attend more events at Magik and will be sharing with my clients!

I used AVEC for my daughter pre-wedding event for the family and close friends of the bride and husband. The staff at AVEC really made it a life time memorable experience to last for everyone. As for the reception, the appetizers/ hors-d’oeuvre was excellent. The open bar and the wine selection made a difference for those who attended. For the friends of my daughters, AVEC was one of the restaurant that they envied to dine at and the second floor atmosphere made it a unique experience. As for the sit down dinner for the family, it become a highlight for both family history. The wine selection for dinner was memorable and was an experience which cannot be replicated. The food was excellent and the how the family style serving provided an atmosphere for everyone closer and to become “one family”. In my mind , this was one of the top experience I have had including my time as working and living as a top executive in the Chicago area in the past 20 years. I have organized and attended dinner events for business but this experience at AVEC was the one I enjoyed the most and is ranked as my number one. I have to say that all dining experience, the staff at AVEC served us and others with a kind, friendly, and proactive way which led making the whole dining experience one that can not match by other restaurants in Chicago or anywhere around the world. As a Japanese we are used to high quality personalized services but AVEC in the West Loop is in our mind belongs in the top league worldwide. We had our wedding ceremony on the Green, cocktail hour at AfterBar, and our reception at the Eatery and the transition between the 3 spaces was seamless. All the food and drinks were fabulous, and the chic and modern spaces really set the tone for everyone to have a wonderful time. The location is also unbeatable, easy to get to via public transportation with a garage parking option on-site. The Eatery/AfterBar's event team were also responsive and helpful throughout the entire planning process, were thoughtful and accommodating regarding guests' dietary restrictions, and were great with our other vendors (Rob Karlic Photography, Naturally Yours Events, Flowers for Dreams, Defloured Bakery, Umaga Bakehouse, and BreezyBooth).
