“Skyview Golf Club was the PERFECT place to get married! My now husband and I had a blast at this venue and they made the process soo smooth. Hildegard was a huge help and basically held our hand along the way to make sure we checked everything needed to get done. Not to mention, we were planning a wedding across the country so her communication was essential to this process. I couldn't have asked for a better spot. It's also such a naturally beautiful venue that we didn't need to go overboard with the decoration as they already had a lot of stuff on site! I would 100% recommend this location to people and already have to some of my recently engaged friends! Additionally, their partnered vendors were everything we needed as well. Made it so much easier as they had recommendations already on lock. Thank you again Skyview for making our special night the most memorable.”

The space is super versatile—we used both the indoor area and the outdoor space and it flowed perfectly for mingling, photos, and seating. The staff was organized, attentive, and made sure everything stayed on schedule without feeling rushed. The food was a big highlight—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, and the bar service was fast (their cocktails were a hit). They also had everything we needed for speeches and announcements, and it felt like they’ve done this many times before. Huge bonus: it’s incredibly easy for guests to get there—9th St Light Rail is right outside and there’s a parking garage with validated parking. “My son and daughter-in-law's wedding was two months ago, and we are still basking in the glow of that beautiful day—and for so many reasons, one of them being our experience with Raul Ruiz and his entire team at The Grove. From the moment we began planning, Raul was an extraordinary partner. I affectionately nicknamed him “The Maestro,” and I think that says it all. His years of experience, including planning his own wedding, give him an incredible understanding of what it takes to create a truly special celebration. Raul asks the right questions, makes thoughtful suggestions, and pays attention to details you may not even know to consider. He guided us with professionalism, compassion, and kindness, while leading his team with confidence and respect. One moment perfectly demonstrated his expertise. We had planned to hold the ceremony at the Carriage House, but 45 minutes before the ceremony, it started to rain. We had to quickly move the ceremony indoors. The Grove team immediately went into action, setting up the chairs and transforming the room in what seemed like no time at all. There was no panic—just a team of professionals who knew exactly what to do. Our guests would never have known we had changed plans at the last minute. And the team! To say they were attentive would be an understatement. We are still talking about our attendants. They anticipated what we needed, made sure we had food and drinks, steamed garments, checked in on us, and handled the little things that could easily have become big things—all with warmth and a smile. Our Maitre d’, Vas, was another standout. He was always nearby, quietly watching over the celebration and ready to step in whenever needed. His calm, professional leadership gave us tremendous confidence. And then there is The Grove itself. The venue was beautiful, the size was perfect, and the facilities were wonderful. The Bridal Suite and Groom’s Suite were beautiful and comfortable and gave everyone a wonderful place to prepare and gather before the celebration. Our 200 guests were so impressed by the cocktail hour. The variety was incredible, and everything was delicious. Some guests actually thought the cocktail hour was the reception because there was so much food and so much to enjoy! Dinner was equally impressive. People are still talking about the filet mignon, and my branzino was fantastic. The chef and culinary team truly delivered. The Bridal Suite and Groom’s Suite were beautiful and comfortable and gave everyone a wonderful place to prepare and gather before the celebration. But perhaps what means the most to us is that our son and his bride were so happy and so proud of their wedding. The Grove helped bring their vision to life and fulfill their dreams for the day. As parents, there is no greater gift than seeing your children genuinely happy on one of the most important days of their lives. When you entrust a venue with such an important family celebration, you want beautiful surroundings and wonderful food—but you also want people who will care about your day and know exactly what to do when the unexpected happens. That is what we found at The Grove. Raul and his team didn't simply execute our wedding. They helped us experience it. And for that, we will always be grateful.”

“Our wedding on May 1, 2026 was truly the best day of our lives, and the entire Hudson House team exceeded every expectation we had. We had a bit of a rocky start during the initial booking process, but once Elena, the General Manager, stepped in and connected us with Gabriel, the Director, everything became seamless. From that point forward, we felt completely taken care of. The food tasting alone was an experience unlike anything we've ever seen. It was an incredible feast and gave us a firsthand look at how Hudson House executes events and the level of service they provide. The food was absolutely outstanding, and our guests are still talking about it weeks later. One of the things that made our wedding feel extra special was having the second-floor room available for cocktail hour instead of the overlook above the reception space. While both spaces are beautiful, having a completely separate floor created such an incredible guest experience. Many guests thought the cocktail hour space was the reception itself, only to be amazed when they discovered there was another floor for dinner and dancing, followed by the Stork Club for the after-party. Everyone loved the progression of the evening and how each part of the celebration had its own unique space. The cocktail hour was truly next level. We received countless compliments about the amount of food and the variety of stations. Guests repeatedly told us they had never seen so many options at a wedding. One detail that made a huge impact was having our signature his-and-hers drinks already waiting for guests as they entered cocktail hour. People loved being able to grab a drink immediately instead of standing in line at the bar, and it was one of the most complimented touches of the night. What impressed us most, though, was the service. Every single staff member was warm, friendly, attentive, and accommodating. If a guest needed something, it was handled immediately. The professionalism and hospitality were truly exceptional. A special thank you goes to Maya, my bridal attendant, who was absolutely incredible from start to finish. She was by my side all day, constantly making sure I had water, checking on me, helping me stay hydrated, and ensuring I had everything I needed. She even helped clean the dirt off the train of my dress after photos. Maya was calm, thoughtful, diligent, and genuinely cared about making my day perfect. Before we left, she made sure all of our belongings were packed and organized, and she carefully packed up the food and cake I requested to take home since I knew I probably wouldn't get a chance to eat much during the wedding. Thanks to her, we were able to enjoy so many of the amazing dishes once we got back to our hotel. Gabriel was equally incredible throughout the night. Anytime I noticed something that needed attention, no matter how small, he addressed it immediately. Knowing he was there overseeing everything allowed us to relax and fully enjoy our wedding day. Hudson House delivered beyond our wildest dreams. The venue is stunning, the food is phenomenal, the service is unmatched, and the entire team genuinely cares about creating an unforgettable experience. Everything ran so smoothly that we were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment. The only downside is that the day goes by way too fast. We honestly wish we could do it all over again. We cannot recommend Hudson House enough.”

“OMG. Liberty House was the most perfect venue for our April 2026 wedding. From our first meeting with our memory maker, throughout the entire planning process, to the day of our beautiful wedding – we were so confident in our decision to choose Liberty House. Casey was so responsive, reliable, and reassuring. Even as a type A anxious bride, I never felt overwhelmed or uncomfortable dealing with the LH team. Even without a perfect view of the city skyline (it was rainy and cloudy on our wedding day), the Liberty Room space was perfect for our wedding with about 90 guests. The rain actually ended up being a blessing in disguise – since no one was outside on the patio, our dance floor was absolutely packed all night. Our timeline was curated and executed perfectly in time with the natural flow of the evening. Our event stylist, maitre d, and bridal attendants on the day of the wedding went above and beyond to make us feel the most special. Another thing that sets Liberty House apart is the guest experience. Our guests still have not stopped raving about the food, drinks, and overall positive energy of the space and team. Our vision was brought to life and genuinely reflected our love and spirit as a couple. So if you are considering Liberty House, I would recommend them 100 times out of 100.”

The events were both unforgettable, and the staff was truly outstanding. I had the pleasure of working with Marlon, who was our wedding coordinator and worked our holiday party and I can’t speak highly enough of him. He goes above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly. Marlon does an incredible job of making sure guests are happy and the event flows seamlessly—he’s truly one of the best. “We could not have asked for a better experience with Maritime Parc for our wedding. From the very first planning meetings through the last moment of our wedding day, their team was incredibly accommodating, attentive, and professional. The meetings leading up to our wedding were extremely helpful. As details came together and timing and logistics continued to evolve, the team was always willing to talk things through and accommodate where they could. Maritime Parc is clearly a well-oiled machine — they do a lot of weddings, and understandably, some things have an established way of being done. But what impressed me was that even within that structure, they never made us feel like “just another wedding.” They found ways to make our experience feel personal and special while still keeping everything running efficiently. I especially want to recognize Priscilla, who technically was not even our day-of coordinator, but somehow became so much more than that to us and our family. My dad is… particular, to put it very nicely , and had a million questions, requests, and concerns throughout the planning process. Priscilla handled every single one with incredible patience, kindness, and professionalism. At some point, she was basically his therapist, point person, and honorary member of the family all in one. She went so far above and beyond what we ever expected, and she was there with us throughout the entire wedding day to make sure everything went smoothly. Having someone we trusted that much there with us made such a difference. And then the wedding day itself was absolutely seamless. Every transition was precise and perfectly timed, from the ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception. Our bridal attendant was an absolute fairy godmother — she anticipated everything I could possibly need before I even had to ask. Even something as small as coordinating exactly when the doors would open for my walk down the aisle was handled flawlessly. There was never a moment where I felt like I had to worry about what was happening behind the scenes. Everything was top notch: the service, the food, the staff, the attention to detail, and especially the level of care they gave us and our families. You spend so much time planning a wedding and worrying about all of the little things, and Maritime Parc gave us the gift of being able to actually enjoy our wedding day because we knew everything was in good hands. It is obvious that this team knows exactly what they are doing, but somehow they still made us feel like our wedding was uniquely important to them — even knowing that ours was one of so many weddings they put on. That combination of experience, organization, flexibility, and genuine personal care is what made Maritime Parc so special to us. We are so grateful to the entire Maritime Parc team, and especially Priscilla, for making our wedding feel so personal and so incredibly well cared for. We would recommend Maritime Parc to anyone looking for a venue that will not only execute your wedding beautifully, but will genuinely take care of you and your family along the way.”

“We had our wedding at The One & Only Westmount Country Club in early November 2025. It was a perfect venue! The staff were amazing, and the site was impeccable. From the moment we toured the Westmount it was pretty clear it would be perfect for us. We wanted to do the wedding on-site in the garden off the Continental Ballroom. Karen worked with us to make everything perfect and coordinated every detail according to our vision for the day. Since the wedding, we have heard nothing but praise and compliments from our guests. Multiple people have told us they have never had such good food at a wedding, and the dessert extravaganza (only word to describe it) was second to none. From the welcome drinks and snacks, to the cocktail hour, to dinner service and dessert, our guests cannot stop raving about the food and service. The outdoor venue with twinkle lights in the trees, up lighting, a fountain next to the gazebo, and the picturesque garden gate was the entire aesthetic we wanted. We highly recommend The One & Only Westmount Country Club. The staff, the venue, the food, and the suggested vendors all made for a dream wedding and magical night. Temperance

  • Up to 75 guests

A vibrant and unpretentious West Village restaurant and wine bar with the best by-the-glass wine list in the world. Our food menu is Mediterranean-inspired and includes an eclectic assortment of small, but shareable bites. Our space is ideal for parties and receptions, but due to its floor plan, does not lend itself to wedding ceremonies or presentations where sight lines are critical.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Provides a dedicated team on-site
  • Creates a sense of togetherness
  • Multiple event spaces

Venue considerations

  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • No on-site bridal suite
  • Dance floor not included
“As I planned our surprise engagement, I wanted to choose a location to go after that moment to celebrate with a larger group of friends and family that resonated with both of us, so our local wine spot, Temperance, was perfect. Having no idea whether they would even consider a private party I reached out through an email on the website and quickly realized how kind and accommodating the staff was. We were able to rent out the back patio and fully customize the space with our own set up and outside decorations. As a part of the space rental we were allowed an allotment of more than enough food and, more importantly, a customized collection of reds, whites, oranges and rosès. I’d recommend letting the staff pick the specific wines, they’re the experts after all (they did pick one special wine just for us and immediate family based on my specific request, but I like to pretend that was just for me). It was the perfect place to celebrate with around 25 of our closest friends and family. The one downside was they have a hard cutoff of 10pm due to some vocal neighbors but the staff was very upfront throughout the booking process that that was going to be the case, so there were no surprises. Additionally, because of how much we love the aesthetic inside near the bar and the room fronting Carmine Street, we also asked if we could start our engagement photo shoot at Temperance before they opened one night. Once again, we were met with a staff that went out of their way to help us anyway they could and even gave us a glass of wine each to take the edge off of some poses that feel extremely ridiculous in the moment, but turned out to be great pictures. We were as happy with those pictures as we were with both of those experiences at Temperance.”

Venue considerations

“When my husband and I initially came across The Skylark during our search, we were nervous that there were so few reviews, especially compared to the more “popular” venues in NYC. We took a chance and never looked back. The first factor in choosing The Skylark was the location. Most of our wedding guests were from out of state, and its convenient Midtown location made travel to/from LGA and securing hotel accommodations incredibly easy. The second was the venue itself. Our vision was an intimate and swanky wedding, so we wanted to be intentional about a guest experience that would echo the spirit that is NYC. Our biggest must-have was high-quality food. We chose a seated reception with an appetizer, entrée, and butlered desserts. The beautiful plating made it feel like an upscale dinner, and nearly five months later, our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was, especially the hors d’oeuvres. Kudos to Abigail Kirsch catering! We also wanted a picturesque backdrop, and we were able to use the outdoor patio (available April–November). The golden-hour views of TS and the ESB from the rooftop made for gorgeous photos. Most services included in the wedding package were kept in-house. In addition to cocktail hour and dinner, the package included an open bar, furniture, tableware, and linens. We also paid an additional fee to host our ceremony there, and the staff did a great job flipping the space within the scheduled timeframe. The third factor was The Skylark team. We could not have asked for a better group of professionals. They went above and beyond, from thoughtful touches in the bridal and groom’s suites (charcuterie boards and iced drinks to keep everyone fed and hydrated) to the elegant presentation of hors d’oeuvres and celebratory to-go gift bags. We also greatly appreciated the care with which our personal belongings were packed at the end of the night. None of these details went unnoticed, and we received so many compliments on the food, venue, service, and overall experience. Special shout-outs to LeighAnne, Candace, and Kaybri. LeighAnne was our main point of contact during the initial booking process and was such a blessing. She consistently responded to emails within 24 hours, which was especially important as we planned from out of state. Candace and Kaybri became our main contacts during the planning phase, and their support, expertise, and flexibility made the entire experience seamless. They accommodated requests, such as moving our rehearsal to the day before and extending venue access time. Our final planning session with Candace was two weeks prior, and she reassured us that everything would go well and all we needed to do was enjoy the moment. On the day of, Candace and Kaybri were a well-oiled machine. My husband and I were blown away by how smoothly everything ran according to our timeline, and are still convinced there were no hiccups—that’s how perfect it went. It is incredible how amazing they are at their jobs, and anyone can tell they genuinely love what they do. Additionally, I cannot recall the name of the attendant in my bridal suite, but she was an absolute angel. She fixed my headpiece for photos, helped me use the bathroom in my dress, and checked on me throughout the night. From the bottom of our hearts, my husband and I are forever grateful to The Skylark team for bringing our vision to life. We would absolutely host another event here and cannot wait to come back!”

Terroir Tribeca
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
New York, NY
  • Up to 110 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $12,500

The reclaimed industrial bones of 24 Harrison Street, situated perfectly between Hudson and Greenwich St, offer a unique backdrop. The space features roughhewn wood, burnished metal, and the historic charm of a former cheese factory, ensuring an atmosphere far removed from generic corporate event spaces. Credit is due to the visionary efforts of Paul Grieco—a two-time James Beard award winner—for creating a sanctuary where special events are truly memorable. The bar specializes in wine, featuring a lengthy, in-depth, and quirky list that has won multiple awards for rejecting the mundane. Most standard wedding selections never cross this threshold. The menu strikes a balance between high-end culinary craft and accessible bistro fare. From intimate engagement gatherings to unforgettable receptions, this independent Tribeca venue seamlessly adapts to a wide variety of visions. Choosing this location means opting for character and history over a standard, white-tablecloth ballroom.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Both indoor and outdoor options
  • All-inclusive venue packages
  • Multiple event spaces

Venue considerations

  • Does not have a dance floor
  • No free parking

“Terroir was the perfect spot for our wedding welcome party! We had about 85 guests and bought out the entire venue. The casual setup was exactly what we wanted—it gave everyone plenty of room to mix and mingle, while tapas were passed throughout the night. There was more than enough food, with a great variety of options, and our guests absolutely raved about it. We love wine, so Terroir was an especially great fit for us. They worked with us to offer a variety of wines for our guests, while the non-wine drinkers appreciated the fun selection of beers and cocktails. Setup was incredibly easy, and the staff was accommodating throughout the entire process. We were able to play some of our favorite movies on the big screen, and Terroir gave us full control of the music, so we created a playlist based on song requests from our RSVPs. Those little touches made the night feel really personal to us. We also loved that guests could drop in on their own schedule, and the high-top tables and open layout naturally encouraged people to move around and mingle rather than stay in one place all night. It was exactly what we wanted for the start of our wedding weekend: relaxed, fun, personal, and the perfect place for all of our guests to get acquainted. We couldn’t have been happier with Terroir.”

“From the moment we saw the back rooms at Arte Cafe, we knew it would be the perfect venue for our wedding. The staff were incredibly open to our wishes and flexible in working with us to make our vision a reality. The skylight and garden rooms looked absolutely beautiful, with the natural light and greenery creating a magical, airy atmosphere, and hanging lights and chandeliers brought elegance once the sun set. The cocktails, passed appetizers, and dinner buffet were all delicious, and the staff - from the servers and bartenders to the manager - were extremely attentive and prompt. Alexis, the venue coordinator, was very helpful in managing communications with the restaurant and coordinating the kitchen. She could be a bit hard to get in touch with at times and was not at the venue the day-of the wedding, but the management staff took over and the event got set up the way we wanted (although this took some prompting / follow up from us) and flowed seamlessly. We ended up with exactly the wedding we had hoped for. We highly recommend Arte Cafe for any couple looking for a stunning, flexible venue that will truly make your special day feel like a dream come true. You might have to put a bit more of your own time into making sure you get what you asked for, but if you are willing to put in some of the extra effort it is well worth it.”

Why Choose New Jersey for Your Wedding Day?

New Jersey gives you four distinct regions with unique wedding settings and styles to match any vision. September tops the charts for wedding inquiries here, so you'll want to plan ahead if you're eyeing a date during peak season. The varied landscapes mean you can find everything from waterfront elegance to historic charm without traveling far.

What Types of Wedding Venues Can You Find in New Jersey?

The venue scene in New Jersey covers just about every style imaginable. Luxury estates like Park Chateau in East Brunswick offer stunning French-inspired architecture with gorgeous European gardens that make for incredible photo backdrops. If water views are your thing, places like Liberty House showcase breathtaking NYC skyline panoramas right alongside the water. History buffs fall in love with venues like Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange with its historic grounds and Mediterranean gardens. Modern couples gravitate toward industrial spaces such as The Art Factory in Paterson where contemporary design meets character and uniqueness.

How Much Should You Budget for a New Jersey Wedding?

Wedding venues in New Jersey typically run between $8,600 and $10,600, which falls right in line with the national range of $6,500-$12,000. Your overall costs will scale with your guest count.
