The MC's ad-libs got a little overbearing at times, but overall they did a nice job sticking to the schedule and making important announcements. The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! First and foremost, his attention to detail is amazing -- he noticed a discrepancy between the couple introduction song that we had put in the Vibo app versus what our day of coordinator had on her wedding timeline. He then reached out to the day of coordinator to figure out which song was correct. He also took the time to understand what we were looking for for our cocktail hour and wedding reception. He reached out many times prior to our wedding to check in with us and make sure that all of our questions were answered. It was clear that he genuinely cares about providing a memorable experience. Marty is also flexible. Originally the plan was for our dance floor to be outside. However, due to a heat wave we ended up deciding to move the dance floor inside. Marty was able to easily accommodate this request and he also offered to put speakers outside so guests who were out on the deck would still be able to hear the music. We also recommend going with the up-lighting. He did a great job setting up the lights. The lights actually change colors and really change the vibe of the reception room once the party gets started! The live music he delivered during cocktail hour was a standout of the night. We had so many compliments from guests about his cocktail hour performance. Another aspect that truly set Marty apart was his willingness to go above and beyond. Not only did he do a great job reading the vibe of the room in order to keep the dance floor lively, but at one point he also helped with cleaning up dinner plates. He showed a level of dedication and professionalism that's rare to find. Marty played a crucial role in making our wedding a success. We highly recommend him for any occasion!”

“Sean from North Georgia Weddings and Events was great to work with for our wedding! I had already booked a DJ, but was specifically looking for a company that would be able to provide cold spark machines for our first dance and our grand exit. I said I wanted as many as he could provide for both of those moments and he was able to use eight total machines (four on each side). The layout of them was perfect and made for some fantastic photos and videos. Sean also asked what the first dance song was ahead of time so he would know the piece of music and could then time the start of the cold spark machines with the first chorus of the song for a more dramatic effect. The crowd was shocked and amazed when they went off during our first dance and the timing was perfect! Sean was able to make the vision I dreamed about come to life and I could not be happier with how it was executed! He was easy to get in touch with and very communicative leading up to the event and the day of the event to make sure the timing for everything would work out. “Upstate Strings was absolutely amazing! Having live music during our ceremony and cocktail hour elevated the entire experience and made everything feel so elegant and timeless. They played a mix of Bridgerton-style covers for the cocktail hour that our guests loved, and for my walk down the aisle, they performed an Ed Sheeran song that was special to us — it was the song playing the first time we met. Because they were live, they were able to time everything perfectly, and the transitions felt so natural and emotional. So many guests commented on how classy and beautiful the music was. I can’t recommend them enough!”
