“PK and the Mighty Seven was THEE best band for our wedding. We had initially seen them play at porchfest and have gone back to see them each year since. They always draw a massive crowd and they kill it every time. For our wedding we considered getting a DJ for a second but boy are we glad we didn’t. PK brought the heat and they worth every penny. Leading up to the wedding, Matt was great to work with. We had a few calls prior to the wedding to plan songs, and we were able to give some definite YESs and NOs based on their extensive song list. They have great Motown, funk, and pop classics on their list, but they also did fantastic renditions of our pop-punk and ska requests. Matt was super responsive and coordinated with the venue about their logistics. During the wedding itself they brought fantastic energy, and know how to read a room. As (amateur) musicians, they even let us come up to play a song with them which was the most special moment and topped everything off. All around, 11 out of 10. Great to work with, professional, and absolutely rock!”

“We hired DJ El Sid for our August 9th, 2025 wedding, and our reception was an absolute banger. Sid is super talented and is great at reading the crowd likely because he still actively DJs at clubs which is exactly what we were looking for. He had everyone on their feet dancing from our younger crowd of friends and cousins to our older family and friends. You know it’s a good party when you have a dachshund do the limbo and the men’s ties transfer to their head haha. We got SO many compliments on the DJ from our guests! Additionally, Sid did a fantastic job with the ceremony and grand entrances and dances, and MCing. We had 2-3 planning meetings with him via Zoom before the wedding, which were super helpful to get to know each other, ask questions, and share our music tastes and wishes. Fusion function also had an app where we could upload our songs for the ceremony, cocktail hour, entrances, first dances, and reception to keep everything organized and give Sid a vibe for our music style. “We hired Tom for our 8/16/25 wedding in West Dover, VT. He came recommended by family and he didn't disappointment. Tom is easy to talk to, very professional, and knows how weddings work. His communication is clear, with most of the details being sorted out the week of the wedding (which makes perfect sense consider that's when we finally know the timeline). He did our intro and non-standard first dance song perfectly - as we requested a fade out for the latter at a certain time mark. He played blocks of Middle Eastern music at our request, and coordinated easily with our planner and also the belly dancer. Everything was perfect, no mistakes. He has a good sense of what the crowd might like and checked in a few times to see if we wanted any musical genre shifts. It was easy to get special songs to him via Spotify in advance. Everyone was dancing all night, which is what we wanted. Even the venue manager commented that he'd not seen so many avid dancers at a wedding! Highly recommend!”

From day 1 of meeting with her for our wedding, it was clear that her goal was to give us the best party of our lives, whatever that looked like to us. Additionally, I have to praise the band manager Irene. She was the most organized vendor I have ever worked with. As our wedding was on a military installation, we had some insane paperwork requirements that all vendors needed to complete and she handled it quickly and with so much grace. I just can't recommend the Dave Macklin Band enough. They are more affordable than other bands in the area yet their performance is out of this world. Unsurprisingly, he and his team delivered, and the wedding went off without a hitch. Ken was extremely responsive leading up to the wedding, even accepting my request to add LED uplighting at the last minute. He also sends monthly reminder emails that help the wedding planning process, so you can be sure you won’t forget anything along the way. The day of the wedding, he kept the flow of events on track and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. He kept our guests engaged all evening and our dance floor was never empty.
