Out of all of the many many decisions we made for our day, booking with Protea Event Planners was the best decision we made hands down. Caroline was a pleasure to work with and totally calmed any of our stress and anxiety during the days leading up - I can honestly say it’s because of her that we had a completely stress-free wedding day! Not only was it her lovely presence that made the day go perfectly, it was also her skill, natural talent, and years of experience in the industry. She put out all of the small fires, kept everything and everyone involved on time and running smoothly (with a huge bridal party, off-site church ceremony, and two wedding dress looks), and made every detail, no matter how small, of our vision come to life! She made herself extremely available and accessible for our many questions and concerns and never made us feel crazy :) Caroline absolutely went above and beyond for us and we cannot emphasize enough how crucial of a part she was in our day being so amazing. Maddie did an amazing job for our wedding. She was great to work with and made our day stress free and run smoothly. She is organized and her templates helped simplify the planning process for us. We worked with her in the months leading up to the big day, and she provided great vendor recommendations that set us up for success. I cannot sing Emma’s praises enough!!! We hired Emma as a month-of coordinator and are fully convinced she is the sole reason our wedding went off without a hitch! We had over 200 people and our ceremony was at a different location from our reception—no small undertaking—and from the moment we started working together, we knew our wedding was in good hands. Emma is extremely organized and has the perfect demeanor for this type of work. When I was actively pulling my hair out with stress (and a venue that was less than forthcoming about a conflict with our event space), Emma stepped up and made sure everything went smoothly, all while remaining calm, cool and collected. Emma was SO easy to work with and is a pleasure to be around. She also has a great inventory of items to bolster your décor—we ended up renting a card box and table numbers from her that she printed and designed with our names on it! She helped us hone our vision and refine our timeline, all while making sure everything was finalized to our liking! We hired Michelle Knutson for our November 2025 Palm Springs wedding and truly could not be happier with our experience. We had a fairly small event, so we went with the day-of-coordinator package. Michelle truly went above and beyond just the day-of coordinating. She coordinated a couple intros zooms, got in touch with our venue and all of our vendors beforehand and brought us solutions when we realized we were going to be rained on. The day of she was a straight shooter - direct and ran a tight ship. But she was also warm, friendly and upbeat. Her assistant even took care of my dog for me and made sure he was fed and walked! We are forever grateful to her and her team for making our day so special. 10/10 recommend!

Alex was extremely easy to work with and her team was even. Easier to work with. She made sure that our vendors had all the info they needed. When one vendor was eating with our guests inappropriately, she documented that for me to help with getting a refund. She made sure that our vendors also got food too. The way that her team moved efficiently to set up the event was amazing and they were thorough enough to make sure that we didn't get a cleaning invoice. Something that apparently always happens at our venue.

Working with Brooklyn Rain Brides was an incredible experience! Finding Brooklyn felt like fate! She was everything we needed in a planner. Abby and her team were absolutely amazing. My bridesmaids and I got ready on site and being type A I couldn’t help but peek out and check on the progress being made surrounding venue decor throughout the morning. Every time I poke my head out from the bridal suite, I just kept saying “magic is happening out here!!” We had multiple external vendors come in to set up decor and drop off items for the day and I didn’t even know that they were there because Abby and her team handled them seamlessly. My venue also had a Day of Coordinator and Abby worked so well with their team, and did not clash at all. Abby made my day flow smoothly and I cant think her and her team enough!

If you are looking for a day of coordinator you NEED to hire Melissa and Kourtney! They were nothing but amazing! I hired them for day of coordination for prior to that you’ll have 2 meetings and be able to call/text Melissa about anything you’ll need! She did a fantastic job coordinating the rehearsal and making sure everyone knew what they were doing. The day of the hemming on my underskirt was falling apart because my shoes had rhinestones and I could barely walk because how tangled it was! The minute Melissa and Kourtney got there, they pulled out their scissors and safety pins and fixed my dress in no time! They set up my ceremony space which was absolutely beautiful and made sure everyone and everything was where it needed to be for the ceremony. After the ceremony they brought out ice water since it was so hot and then later brought us food from the cocktail hour and drinks. Which was great since we were starving! I didn’t have a dj because we had an intimate wedding and the yard games out in the patio, so Melissa announced everything for us which was amazing! I just couldn’t had made this wedding everything I’ve dreamed of without her and Kourtney! I’m sure there’s at least a million other things they did that I’m just forgetting right now that made my wedding perfect! I would give them 1,000 out of 1,000 stars if I could!
