My friend had him at her wedding a few years prior and highly recommended him, and I’m so glad we took her suggestion! Ed has a great DJ website where you can add all the songs you like, as well as which songs you don’t want to hear (which is very important for me). He then creates amazing mixes with the songs and knows how to keep the party going. I was really happy he was able to find our first dance song, which is from the 1940s and not easy to stream from just anywhere (thank you!!!). Our dance floor felt tailored to us, and the lights were so fun. He also did our introductions and gave the guests instructions when needed. If you’re on the fence about getting a DJ, book Edward Zaruba—he made our reception FUN!”

We decided on their 8 piece band option to include horns, which I highly recommend.They did the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception for an amazing price! Eliot was absolutely incredible in working with us to make sure everything was just how we hoped. He collaborated with one of my friends who I wanted to have sing as I walked down the aisle, met with us multiple times to discuss flow and our play/don’t play list. He even went to the venue prior to the event to get the lay of the land and organized with our coordinator. SL learned a few songs not on their playlist at our request. Even more amazing, the week of our wedding my husband decided he wanted to do a 2 song mashup for his dance with his mom. The band put it together just a few days before and it was awesome! Truly above and beyond! My family has been to a lot of weddings and multiple people said this was the best band they ever experienced! The week before the wedding, I was able to speak directly with DJ Big George and our photographer JP to finalize all the details. DJ Big George was fabulous - he kept the music flowing smoothly and read the crowd perfectly, even though I didn't provide a detailed playlist. JP the photographer was fantastic! Had a great personality and always there to capture the important moments, like when my dress broke right before the ceremony and he offered tools to help the girls fix it! He spent extra time making sure we were posed well and I cannot wait to see the photos! Eclectic Events truly made our special day even more memorable.
