SkylineLights

SkylineLights is a party band providing live music for weddings and special events. Featuring some of Philadelphia's most sought after vocalists and musicians, SkylineLights is comprised entirely of full time, professional musicians. We take our craft seriously, and we cherish the opportunities we have to share our talents. All of the members of the band have toured nationally, some internationally, and have decades worth of experience playing weddings and special events of all types.

Elliot Garland, the founder and music director of SkylineLights, has been playing weddings in the Philadelphia area for over 10 years. In addition, he is a member of the Philadelphia Eagles Pep Band and has worked with a variety of artists including Saleka, Lauryn Hill, John Medeski, Bakhiti Kumalo (Paul Simon), and Jef Lee Johnson. He brings his experience and love of performing to SkylineLights and has formed a band that encompasses his passion for people and live music.

    Skyline Lights rocked the house at our wedding in Brooklyn and got more compliments than the bride and groom. They have an extensive song list and they brought great energy throughout. Band leader Elliot was extremely organized and responsive and we cannot recommend him highly enough!

    We won the lottery with the pure talent of Elliot on our wedding day! Our wedding was small & intimate as we were coming out of covid times and it was the 1st extended family gathering (had we had a bigger venue and wedding overall we would have hired the entire band but we threw our wedding together in a few short months). Elliot was super easy to work with and offered a wide range of selections for what we needed/wanted. Elliot performed for our ceremony and not only nailed the songs we selected together but also perfected the volume for the space as it wasn’t a traditional ballroom but a loft. He was also very cool about our 2 year old commandeering his equipment after the ceremony ;) If you want the BEST, it is a no brainer to go with Skyline Lights for complete perfection on your wedding day.
