Grow Wild Studios
Rating: 5.0 (5 reviews)
  • Starts at $5,000
  • Serves Newark, DE

Grow Wild Studios is a sister (Liz) and brother (Tim) owned florist and design team. We are here to provide a unique, new-age twist to the traditional art of floral design. Being nature lovers at heart, we believe in the power of flowers as a way to transform a space while honoring our commitment to our local community. What drives us is simple: flowers tell stories. They hold emotion. They transform space. They connect people in ways that words often can’t. That’s the magic we try to bottle up in our work Let's tell your love story in flowers!

Grow Wild Studios were incredible and cannot recommend enough! We had a specific vision for our wedding and they completely got the vision down perfectly. The florals were one of the most important vendors to us as we love plants and flowers and Grow Wild did everything perfectly. Our color palette was a wintery moody LGBTQ Pride rainbow for an early January wedding (1/2/26) and all flower choices did not disappoint. Our guests, wedding parties, and parents all commented on how beautiful everything was. At the last minute we also added on candles to our package and they looked incredible as well and Grow Wild was extremely accommodating and easy/quick to communicate with. Tim was amazing to work with as we accidentally had given the wrong hotel (sorry!) for the morning meetup day of the wedding, but Tim was able to come right away to the correct address. We also have purchased the hanging ornaments for our wedding parties from Grow Wild and they are also beautiful. For our outfits we went with pocket boutonnieres and they were lovely. They were also able to work into our budget which was very much appreciated. Cannot recommend enough!

Collette Blooms
Rating: 5.0 (3 reviews)
Newark, DE
  • Starts at $500

Hi, I'm Addey! I started Collette Blooms about a year ago after my husband and I moved to the area. I have always loved flowers and beautifying spaces but never considered doing it for work until after college when my very talented friend started mentoring me and I started helping her with weddings. I gained so much experience and confidence in working with her that I started my own business and have loved every second. Collette Blooms is named after our beautiful standard poodle who is at my feet at just about every step of the process. We feel privileged to be included in your special event!

We had an amazing experience! Her communication was great, she checked in several times to make sure we were still happy with what we ordered. You could tell the whole process she wants it to be perfect. My flowers ended up being exactly what I wanted and more & add so much to a wedding day! So happy with them, and affordable !!

Broome & Blossom
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
  • Starts at $3,500
  • Serves Newark, DE

I am a full time fine artist and sculptor and part time floral designer for weddings and events! All of my fine artwork is inspired by nature, making it fitting that floral design is the other half of what I do! Similar to my loves of art creation, I love the colors, textures and pairings that come together in floral design. When creating arrangements, bouquets and installations, I see the process exactly the same as creating artwork. It’s creative, personal and always unique! Given my artistic leaning, I am always excited to collaborate and create dynamic designs whether they be soft and romantic or colorful and whimsical!

From the start, Morgan’s communication was timely, professional, and amiable. Morgan, the owner, is an incredibly talented artist and it shows in the gorgeous, artistic, and professional floral arrangements she’s created. I would recommend Broome & Blossom to anyone - Morgan is sweet, positive, honest, and works hard to accommodate all requests. Her creativity brings such a unique flair to her work!

The flowers from Something Borrowed Blooms were, above all, gorgeous. They also cost a fraction of getting real flowers from a florist. The centerpiece and bouquets in the attached photos are from the Wren collection. The customer service at Something Borrowed Blooms is also highly responsive and helpful. In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

The Faux Bouquets
Rating: 5.0 (42 reviews)
  • Starts at $175
  • Serves Newark, DE

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
We had the most incredible experience with the Faux Bouquets! From start to finish, Brittany was responsive, caring and efficient! We rented the ‘Moody Romance’ suite and I purchased an add on of a custom bridal bouquet and boutonnière! I had done thorough research on purchasing real flowers and while price was our driving factor, I loved the element of saving on waste with renting and the option to purchase a keepsake! Brittany spent time talking to me so many times about questions I had and was incredibly patient! With the custom bouquet, I was able to upload inspiration photos and she NAILED it! The shipping process was so seamless as well. Brittany provided the tracking numbers and thorough instructions on receiving and then returning the flowers. I pride myself on getting ALL the flowers returned in record time (Brittany said) ;) All of our guests couldn’t believe the flowers were fake and everyone was raving about them! Do yourself a favor and go with The Fuax Bouquets!

I was so grateful to have found Jen while going through our flower-picking-process. We got a quote for real flowers to start and it was way out of our budget. When we started looking for 'fake' flowers, I knew I wanted them to look as real as possible. I must have looked at 10 different vendors across CT and MA, and as soon as I saw Wood & Word Blooms website I was sold! Her bouquets are one of a kind, each and every piece was perfect for our wedding. She was so supportive and helpful in the color picking process, I changed my mind a few times but she never batted an eye. She got us to the finish line and we couldn't be happier. If you're on the fence, just go with Jen!

The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!

When researching bouquets for my wedding I knew I didn’t want to spend thousands of dollars on real flowers just for them to die and I be left with no memories. I considered silk flowers but then stumbled across wood flowers and I was immediately sold on the idea. At the time there weren’t many ppl local to me who made wooden bouquets but I reached out to a few and ended up going with Katie at Heart & Sola Creations because she was so easy to talk to and walked me through the whole process. She didn’t have one of the colors I needed but asked me to send a fabric sample and she created a dye color that matched my bridesmaid’s dresses perfectly!! Everything came out perfect and looked so good in pictures. 6 years later and I still have my bouquet on display on a shelf and my husband’s boutonnière in a shadow box with our invite, vows and unity rope braid. I would highly recommended Katie for any of your wooden floral needs, she won’t disappoint.

Jackie was so easy to work with and super accommodating. I had mentioned at one point that if she could find lilacs I would love to have some in the bouquets because they remind me of my grandmother. When our wedding date came, the lilacs around us were nowhere near blooming so I figured they wouldn’t be in the bouquets. But Jackie made it happen!! She had ordered them especially for our wedding and they were so beautiful!! If you’re looking for a florist you should absolutely reach out to Jackie! I cannot recommend her enough!!

Growing up on a tree farm, plants quickly became part of my life. Observing how they grow, getting excited by the seasonal changes, and foraging to create arrangements became my passion. I love weddings and celebrations and incorporating flowers and greenery and unexpected touches.

I'm still so in love with the florals Kelly created for our wedding! We wanted to focus on using seasonal, local florals (as much as possible for a November wedding) and Kelly totally got our vision. She was super easy and fun to work with. Using seasonal flowers, we didn't know what exactly what would end up being available, but we totally trusted Kelly—it was clear she put so much thought and love into her floral designs. The final product was more beautiful than I could have imagined. Thank you Kelly for everything!
