“I first stayed at the Omni Royal Orleans Hotel for my sister's wedding when I was five years old. Immediately, I knew the Omni was going to be a part of my future wedding. When my fiancé, Henry, and I got engaged at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, I immediately emailed the Omni for pricing and to book a tour. Within two or three weeks, the Grand Salon Ballroom was ours. Due to the pandemic, Henry and I were shuffled to various individuals in the catering department, but we were finally graced with Joni Clark, who literally made our dream wedding become a reality. I cannot say enough about how perfect my wedding weekend was. My guests and I were treated with excellent hospitality and professionalism! The food and alcohol was to DIE for!!! Joni, Michael, Dan, and my personal assistant, JJ, were BEYOND amazing throughout the day and night of my wedding!! Because Joni and I had formed such a close bond, it was so heartwarming to hug her goodbye before heading to the church. And, it was so lovely to see Michael and Joni waiting for us with glasses of champagne upon our arrival back. If I could relive my wedding weekend over and over again, I would. “Our 100 person wedding at Paradigm Gardens in April of 2024 was perfect. For starters, their Private Events Director Karen is unparalleled. Communication was clear and consistent from the very beginning, and we never felt like they were trying to upsell us. As two more laid-back brides, she made sure we didn't overlook any important details. If your food is the most important aspect of your wedding, stop reading this and call Paradigm Gardens to book now. Our budget was fairly limited, but Chef Pat over at Karibu Kitchen (Paradigm Gardens' Catering) made the most of every dollar we spent. The food and bar packages were, hands down, the best we encountered at any venue in New Orleans. We had so much fun designing our custom menu with Chef Pat, and the tasting at Tchoup yard was one of our favorite parts of the planning process. Our family and friends still tell us it was the best food they've ever had at any wedding. The team even went out of their way to make sure our bar included our favorite brand of pickle vodka shots which turned out to be one of the highlights of the night. The location in Central City was perfect. It allowed us to have our rehearsal dinner downtown, and also take our pre-ceremony pictures at Audubon Park without requiring much driving time to and from the venue. The lush garden was more than we could have asked for as a backdrop. We said our vows in a short ceremony then watched the sunset over cocktails and dinner. The jasmine was in full bloom which made for awesome photos. The goats were a big hit with our wedding guests and the outdoor kitchen acted as a sort of fiery centerpiece to the whole evening. We had a local DJ playing New Orleans bounce and spent the majority of the night on the dance floor under the string lights. Without a massive budget, we anticipated having to compromise on a lot of aspects to be able to afford a wedding in New Orleans, but we couldn’t have been more wrong. We will forever be grateful to the folks at Paradigm Gardens for giving us the wedding of our dreams.”

First and foremost - the food was absolutely delicious. We were so impressed by the amazing menu options, it was very difficult to choose because everything sounded so good! We heard nothing but rave reviews from our guests about how impeccable the food was. We had several guests who were vegan and gluten-free. Elysian Events gave us numerous options on their menu to choose from, and also worked with us to swap ingredients around to be more GF/V friendly - like tortilla chips instead of pita in the hors d'oeuvre or making sure the dressing on the salad was vegan friendly. It was so important for us to provide a delicious meal to our guests with dietary restrictions, Elysian Events made it so easy! Amelia is a rockstar. We were on a tight budget and I did much of the planning and coordinating myself. Amelia walked us through everything and quickly responded to all of our questions, big and small - from catering options, to menu signage, trash, making sure we had a stand for the cake, and more! Elysian Events also went above and beyond to accommodate us with a regional wedding tradition. In my part of Ohio we have a cookie table tradition, where the family makes dozens and dozens of cookies. In my case my mom and Aunt drove about 600 cookies down! Elysian Events not only helped by supplying trays for the cookies, but to tray them and set them out once dinner service was complete. I’m so grateful for how incredibly accommodating they were and how seamless everything was. I can’t recommend them enough!”

“I am so excited to write this review for the Royal Frenchmen Hotel and Bar Team. We live in Maryland, and while I have family who is local to NOLA, we were taking a chance on a venue we had never visited. But, even working with Chloe before our contract was signed, I felt confident that all of my questions were getting answered, and that even the questions I hadn’t thought to ask, would still be taken care of. And I was right. We worked with their team from June 2023 to our wedding weekend August 2024 and Chloe and I slowly worked through every possible detail before we arrived. We got to visit the venue in January and they were such gracious hosts to us and my family. We even got to meet more of the team, all just as warm and kind. During our visit they treated us to a bar tasting to curate our menu with their award winning bar tenders, as well as had our caterers come in to customize our menu. And the food, was of course New Orleans level taste and quality. DELICIOUS. We were huge fans of all the vendors they suggested, from the band, to the bakeries for our cake, to the amazing photographer and videographer skills you see in the photos attached. They prioritized our needs, and always listened to what we requested, while also providing expert guidance when we weren’t sure what was the best plan. Even in the middle of the thunderstorms that arrived the week leading up to our day, they ensured our plan was in tact with a tent that was so beautifully decorated I couldn’t believe it wasn’t part of the original layout. As our guests arrived to stay for the weekend, and filed in on Saturday for the wedding, we continued to receive such beautiful feedback on how attentive they were to guests before, during, and after the wedding. We plan to continue to be visitors of this awesome hotel and bar to reminisce our magical day, but I want to make sure other couples get the chance to experience the care, warmth, and amazing service provided by the Royal Frenchmen team for their special day.”

“Brandon Thorn and Adam at Crimson Quarter Weddings went above and beyond to make our wedding day seamless! One of the things that I loved right away about Brandon when I first spoke with him was his authenticity, friendliness and sense of humor. I knew immediately that he was a genuine person who really cared about getting to know me and my fiancé. As a result, we became friends pretty quickly and got to know a lot about each other beyond wedding planning-related tasks. I so appreciated this because it meant that I felt like I had an ally to help me navigate the wedding planning process. Brandon will truly support you and go to bat for you if there is a communication issue or conflict of interest with another vendor or venue. I learned as a bride that it is really important to have someone like Brandon who is there 100% looking out for your best interests. I also appreciated that while I hired Brandon as my Day-of-Coordinator, he did way more than just day-of coordinating duties, including attending meetings with my venue several months in advance. He also always answered my texts and emails quickly and communicated with me frequently. This made me feel secure knowing that Brandon really cared about me! On the day of the event, we had to move our ceremony inside due to rain, and Brandon and Adam worked hard to still ensure that the décor and other elements for the ceremony were still set up to look beautiful inside. They also worked with the venue to make some changes to the furniture layout in order to still ensure that the space was set up to make us and our guests have the best experience possible. They also did an outstanding job taking down the décor and cleaning up so that my new husband and I could enjoy our second line and afterparty without having to worry about going back to the venue to clean up. When we returned to our hotel room much later that night, all of our items, including personal items that we had left in the venue space, were all returned to us and neatly stored in our room. We really felt taken care of the entire time. On top of all of this, I really felt like the fee we paid Brandon was an excellent value for the service that we received. I compared Brandon's pricing to other Day-of Coordinators in the New Orleans area, and I can say with certainty that his prices are better that most of the competition, especially for the level of service that you will receive! I would 100% recommend Crimson Quarter Weddings to any bride, groom or individual wishing to host a party/event in the New Orleans or broader Louisiana and Mississippi area!”

“King Marlon's Pastries was amazing in every aspect - communication, quality, taste, cost, and presentation! Marlon was amazing in accommodating our dietary requests. We are vegan and (mostly) sugar-free. We'd tried other bakeries but the quality was not great. We would have rather gotten a non-vegan cake that our guests could enjoy than have a vegan cake just to say it's vegan. However, King Marlon's Pastries did a phenomenal job! He was responsive and communicated clearly - he was also transparent about the options he could make for us and answered questions about ingredients willingly and enthusiastically. The presentation for the tasting was also amazing - he went above and beyond which gave us confidence in knowing he'd go above and beyond for our actual wedding cake. The cake itself tasted great - it was moist, not overly sweet, and complex enough to enjoy at a wedding. Thank you, Marlon! I look forward to being a repeat customer for other special cake needs.”
