The Jaxson on the River

The Jaxson is the place if you are having any type of event in New Orleans. I spoke with Mrs. Lane when I first contacted The Jaxson for a site visit. I was planning to celebrate My 60th Birthday with a Mardi Gras Masquerade theme. Mrs. Lane connected me with her husband Mr. Terry. I met with Mr. Terry (the owner) for a site visit and he gave a wealth of information about the venue. The venue is stunningly beautiful. I was sold when I first entered the building. Once I went upstairs to the main floor it was breathtaking, especially the view of the Mississippi River from the balcony. The Jaxson offers so many amenities that other venues don't offer which saves you on spending extra money. The bathrooms were immaculate with lots of amenities in the ladies bathroom. Mr. Terry and his staff are 100% hands-on from the first day they meet you until the last minute of your event. Mr. Terry did a menu tasting with me and three other people to discuss the menu I chose and make any adjustments or changes. The tasting was well prepared and we were able to give feedback on the menu items we tested. Mr. Terry was always in contact with me to make sure I had everything I needed to make My 60th Birthday Mardi Gras Masquerade Celebration as flawless as possible. I met with Anthony who is the venue coordinator. Anthony is very much hands on helping to make sure everything is exceptional. He coordinates with all the vendors to make sure everyone is in place and everything runs smoothly to create an unforgettable event. My husband and I and also my granddaughter were in the beautiful suite 2 hours before the event where we were able to to relax and get dressed. They provided me with my own personal server named Terrell. Terrell served us some of everything that was on the menu for my 60th Birthday Mardi Gras Masquerade Celebration. Terrell fed us so much that I had to tell him to stop bringing food. Terrell provided me with excellent service being attentive to all my needs throughout the night. My guest and I were blown away by the 5 STAR SERVICE we received during My 60th Birthday Celebration. The food never stopped and every item that was served hot came out piping hot. Each food station was beautifully decorated with the theme of the party which was Mardi Gras Masquerade . The drinks flowed throughout the night and not one time were there people waiting in line. The lighting set the tone for the Mardi Gras Masquerade with purple, green and gold lighting throughout the venue. The stunning slideshow played on a loop throughout the evening so everyone was able to enjoy it. Mr. Terry and his staff know how to deliver a Stellar Event that runs smoothly and in a timely manner. Mr. Terry and His Staff exceeded my expectations on every level. My guest can't stop talking about how much they enjoyed My 60th Birthday Mardi Gras Masquerade Celebration at The Jaxson. Mr. Terry, "Thank You To You And Your Staff For Making My 60th Birthday Mardi Gras Masquerade Celebration A Reality". I will definitely be looking forward to hosting another event at The Jaxson in the future.

Visiting from NYC, where we're fortunate to experience some of the best restaurants and top-tier hospitality, we have high standards—and Jaxson exceeded every one of them. We celebrated my friend's 60th birthday here, and it was absolutely incredible. The venue is beautiful and elegant, making it the perfect setting for a special event. The service was impeccable, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The buffet and hors d'oeuvres were delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The cocktails were innovative and expertly crafted. Every detail was executed flawlessly, making it a truly memorable evening. If you're looking for an exceptional venue in New Orleans for a celebration, Jaxson is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!

Outstanding Experience at Jaxson! I attended my girlfriend 60th birthday 7/25 and had the time of my life! The rooms are large and elegant with stunning picturesque views. Staff, food and hospitality were absolutely great. Jaxson’s exceeded my expectations on every level. Highly recommended!
