Why Margaret Place was the perfect choice
From the moment we started planning, the team at Margaret Place made everything feel seamless. Communication was always prompt, warm, and thorough — we never felt like a burden, even with plenty of questions. Their planning support genuinely set us at ease. The venue itself is a dream. Margaret Place delivers a rare combination of historic charm (it’s a beautifully restored 1854 Greek Revival mansion) with modern, event-ready amenities. The courtyard and indoor/outdoor layout gave us flexibility — for the ceremony, reception, mingling, dancing — and made decorating easy. The on-site bridal suite deserves special praise. Spacious, with beautiful natural light, a wet bar, and a relaxed vibe — it was the perfect place for our friends and me to get ready and soak in the anticipation before walking down the aisle. Finally, the inclusive nature of the venue made planning far less stressful: furniture, sound, lighting, cleanup, even flexible vendor-selection (besides the bar) were all either included or simplified. Choosing Margaret Place for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. It wasn’t just a “venue” — it felt like a partner in our celebration. Every detail, from communication to ambiance to execution, exceeded our expectations. If you want a wedding that feels effortless, beautiful, and uniquely yours — this is the place.
MOST PERFECT EXPERIENCE!
Getting married at Margaret Place was truly one of the best decisions we made. The entire experience was effortless from start to finish. Every question I asked (and I had plenty!) was answered quickly, kindly, and with so much patience. The team made every single detail happen exactly the way I envisioned, and they never once made me feel like I was asking too much. They genuinely care, and it shows in everything they do. Kathleen was incredible to work with. My maid of honor and I stayed in the bridal suite the night before the wedding, and it was PERFECT. The space was beautiful, peaceful, and such a dream for all my bridesmaids and I to get ready in. If you’re considering Margaret Place for your wedding, do it. It was everything I hoped for and so much more. Truly the most special place for the best day of our lives. Also, BOOK THEIR HUGE HANGING DISCO BALL!!! Such a fun addition to our big day!!

We loved everything about the Margaret Place. Communication was easy, the owner was quick with responses and accommodating for all of our questions and needs. The space is very modular so you can change the layout/floorplan to your exact desire. We had the ceremony followed by a second line while they flipped the space for the rehearsal. It was all so streamlined and when we got back the space had a whole different vibe. We had the dance floor in the loung, which made it a little more intimate and it looked amazing! Highly reccomend the Margaret Place
