The first wedding we catered was our own! Hi, we are Jen and Brandon, and we created Elysian Events to share our love of the exceptional cuisine of Louisiana with you. We have been a part of many special events since that first one, and we always bring our passion and decades of professional hospitality experience to meet every occasion. We were married shortly before launching Elysian Events in the fall of 2013. Our lifelong careers in restaurants and hospitality have made catering a natural fit for us. We have been a part of many events along the way, and every one has been a great experience that we wouldn’t trade for anything. Food and hospitality are our passions. We love helping to create something special and look forward to doing the same for you!

Elysian Events
From our first conversation with Elysian Events Catering, we knew we had found the right team for our wedding. They were incredibly responsive and patient as we worked through every detail of our menu, circling back with us again and again until everything was exactly what we wanted. The food itself was next level—every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. Beyond just the catering, their staff was professional and gracious throughout the entire process. Elysian Events went above and beyond what we expected, and we couldn't have asked for better partners in making our ceremony day special.

Smooth catering, delicious food
Elysian was recommended by a family friend and we're so happy we went with them for our wedding. Their food was delicious and we got multiple reports from friends and family saying how much they enjoyed the meal. Amelia and the team were extremely responsive throughout the process and helped the entire night run effortlessly. 10/10. Can't wait to hire them for the next NOLA party.

INCREDIBLE partner for our wedding
Jen and her team at Elysian provided the best wedding food we have ever while helping us plan our entire event. They introduced us to our wedding planner, who was incredible. They helped us select tables & linens, the layout, and then managed the table vendor themselves. Jen also personally advised us on alcohol, which can get tricky to plan. Our guests were blown away by the food and continue to remind us today, a month after our wedding, of how good the chicory cheesecake dessert was. Jen and Elysian were partners helping us plan our event: extremely kind, generous with their time, and delivered on every aspect of our wedding. We wish we could get married again just to party with them one more time.

Best Wedding Catering in NOLA
Their food is just outright phenomenal. We added their oyster bar offering and people from our wedding are still raving about the food. The shrimp and grits & gumbo were INCREDIBLE. They even packaged up leftover food for us to enjoy the next day and were super accommodating for packaging up a meal to go for my nephew. Additionally, the three bartenders we had working the event went above and beyond to ensure everyone was taken care of. When they ran out of gin for me (bride) someone went to the store and got more for us. They were such a happy and positive part of the day.

Delicious food!
Elysian catered my welcome party for my wedding and it was phenomenal! The food was very good and the service was great. They were well organized and flexible as well. I highly recommend them for any event!
