“Kaitlin is amazing to work with. As a photographer who has done weddings myself, I had high standards and specific requests that weeded out a lot of people during my search. Kaitlin immediately stood out to me as someone with the ability to capture the essence of a couple. As I browsed her galleries I felt like I knew the couples and their stories by the time I was done. My wife and I are very introverted, shy, and not used to being the center of attention — let alone in front of a camera. After consulting with Kaitlin it was even more clear that she was the perfect photographer for us. Kaitlin listened to our requests, asked us questions to get a better understanding of what sort of coverage we’d like, and checked in multiple times leading up to the wedding day to go over plans. On the day of, Kaitlin was incredible. She set her flash units up perfectly to give a beautiful sense of lighting to our indoor pictures. Kaitlin was quick and professional with our family formals without feeling like she was rushing anyone. We love our newlywed portraits, largely due to how natural it felt to work with her—again this was huge for us as two people who are a bit camera shy. Our reception photos are equally beautiful, she captured meaningful candid moments without feeling like she was standing between us and the moments happening around us. If you’re like my wife and me and aren’t used to being on camera, I would 100% recommend booking a practice session with Kaitlin either for engagement photos or couples’ photos. As a photographer I’m used to being behind the camera and not in front of it. She helped us feel comfortable and it also helped her see how we interact together as a couple. At no point did we feel like Kaitlin was commandeering our schedule to check off boxes on a shot-list. She was seamlessly integrated everything. Genuinely, I cannot recommend Kaitlin enough. “Rebecca and Ilia were so amazing every step of the way. Prior to even signing a contract, they called us to discuss their editing style, different packages offered, and what we were looking for. Every step of the way when planning they were accessible by phone or text and were extremely helpful. They encouraged us to make a list of must have photos on the day of the wedding. Once they received it they called us to follow up and help us create a timeline for the wedding day. “Margaret was better than I could’ve asked! Leading up to the day she was so easy to communicate with. She created a timeline for the day and any thoughts I had she took them into account and found a way to incorporate them into the plan.
