Cassandra Events

5.0

  • Starts at $4,000
  • Serves New Marlboro, MA

Welcome to Cassandra Redel Special Events, where dreams come to life and love stories unfold with grace, elegance, and a touch of magic. As a compassionate and creative wedding planner, designer, manager, and floral decorator, we are dedicated to curating unique and unforgettable experiences that reflect the essence of each couple's love story. At Cassandra Events, we go beyond being wedding planners and designer, we are storytellers, weaving the narrative of your love into every detail of your special day. Let us transform your wedding dreams into a breathtaking reality.

The word that pops into my head when thinking about Cassandra's work is WOW. She was so professional and easy to work with in the lead-up to the wedding and we were entirely blown away by the final decorations and arrangements the day of. I was having trouble fully describing the general feel that I wanted and she was so helpful in bringing my ideas and images to life. All I did was show her a few photos on Pinterest and describe to her what I was thinking and she fully understood. She described it as a "moody woodland nymph" vibe which was spot on and I referred to it that way afterwards! Her work is of the highest caliber - the centerpieces and accompanying décor, my flower crown and bouquet, the boutonnieres and corsages were all GORGEOUS and made our day so special. Very highly recommend!

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

4.9

  • Starts at $350
  • Serves New Marlboro, MA

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Flower Moxie - Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers provided an exceptional experience for our wedding. From the start, their communication was incredibly helpful, responsive, and informative, which put us at ease throughout the planning process. When the flowers arrived, they were of the highest quality and absolutely stunning. We are thrilled with the value and quality of Flower Moxie's work, and would highly recommend them to any couple planning their wedding.

The Faux Bouquets

5.0

  • Starts at $175
  • Serves New Marlboro, MA

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
We were so delighted to use The Faux Bouquets for our wedding. We ended up having a family emergency that forced us to downsize the size and budget of the wedding just a few months before the wedding, and the team at TFB were so accommodating and helped us to find a solution that still allowed us to use their flowers in our (modified) ceremony. We were a bit concerned about the flowers getting smushed in shipping, but they arrived looking absolutely STUNNING and with plenty of time before the big day. Even my gardener of a grandma couldn't tell they weren't real flowers! We were so happy with how everything looked on the day, and in pictures they look just as lovely. Can't recommend The Faux Bouquets enough! There's no visual difference compared to real bouquets and they are much more affordable. The last big selling point that I would advise future brides, and I did not really consider this, is that because the flowers don't wilt, we could set the decor out the night before--which is a LIFESAVER to not have to worry about on the special day! Anything that will save you time and stress on the day of the wedding is a big win!

🌹 WE ARE NOT FRESH FLOWER FLORISTS. WE WORK WITH WOOD & FAUX FLOWERS. PLEASE ACKNOWLEDGE THIS IN YOUR REPLY. 🌹 Wood & Word Blooms is run by a Jen Angle, former teacher of 20+ years and specializes in using hand-painted wood flowers along with a faux, dried and preserved florals (nothing fresh here) to bring your wedding vision to life not just for that one glorious day but forever. Besides designing for you, I also offer DIY Wood Flower Experiences to create your wedding florals alongside me in person or virtually and 1:1 sessions to help DIY brides learn to do it themselves.

Awarded Best of Zola
Working with Jen for our October 2025 wedding was AMAZING!! From the moment we sent in an online inquiry, Jen was attentive, responsive, thoughtful, and incredibly detail oriented. She got us set up with a project planning doc immediately, and she was SO patient with us even when we were annoyingly indecisive about our vision lol. She met with us via Zoom to answer all of our questions when we were struggling to finish the document (and she is just as thorough and helpful via Zoom as she is via email). Once we placed our final order, Jen was communicative and thorough about the process of what happened next in terms of pickup, payment, etc. When we picked up our flowers, we were ASTOUNDED by how beautiful they were. I mean, we knew they would be beautiful, but truly, WOW. Aside from bouquets & boutonnieres, we also got garlands to use as centerpieces for our guests’ farmhouse tables, as well as small wooden circle magnets with a flower on top (we wood burned the j c into them ourselves) to use as favors. And they all looked incredible. An employee at our venue said that our decor was “the best she’s ever seen this place look,” and a large part of our decor was these flowers. I cannot recommend Jen and Wood and Word Blooms ENOUGH!!! PS bouquet photo is from today (1/5/26)!! The longevity is insane!

Heather worked magic at our wedding! We hired Cullen Creations for the full design package since we were getting married 10hrs from where we live and needed the extra support in creating ideas and figuring out the full design plan! Heather was incredibly dedicated to our vision and put in a lot of time and effort to help create the best Scottish Castle wedding for us. She was extremely friendly and easy to work with, and her team did an amazing job with the on-site setup and removal. I brought her a general idea, but she really made it come to life without much effort on my end! I could not be more thrilled with how it turned out and would recommend her to anyone and everyone!

Emily and her team transformed our harsh, industrial wedding venue into the most romantic, dreamy space I've ever seen. She suspended fabric, built an incredible floral installation, hung vines, and created the most beautiful centerpieces, bud vases, and bouquets. Her eye for design and artistry is incredible, her flowers are stunning, her hardware is beautiful, and she is so kind, communicative, and easy to work with. I got a few other quotes before I went with Emily -- not only did her flowers end up looking far better than those vendors' flowers (based on pictures I'd seen), but her prices were better, too!

When I started planning my wedding, I had a general vision that I was going for, but did not have exact ideas on wedding florals. I knew was that I wanted my wedding to look timeless, sophisticated and organic. From my first meeting with Naomi, I knew she understood my vision. When I received the proposal, I was blown away that she took my ideas and made them even better than I imagined. She was creative with my vibe and budget, suggesting things like tall organic vessels around the ceremony versus a traditional arch and instead of just white flowers, suggested sophisticated neutrals. The day was that much more stunning because of Naomi's florals. They were truly art and my guests were raving about the design. I couldn't recommend N&V enough. Thank you so much again Naomi!

Awarded Best of Zola
You don’t come across someone with this much dedication, passion, craftsmanship, knowledge, and genuine love for their art often. Ashley is truly gifted in all things florals, and every piece she made for me, including my trials, had my jaw drop and moved my family to tears. She puts her heart into every flower she tends to, and you can see it in the intricacies of her work. She’s an artist, and these are her little masterpieces. I’ve grown to respect florals on a new level thanks to her. She knows so much about each flower (even their science names!), how to pair textures, coordinate colors, balance shapes and sizes—she’s making a work of art. So in terms of honoring your vision and creating something magical, trust Ashley with your whole heart. Now comes to the administrative work. Just when I thought I couldn’t love Ashley more, she created slide deck presentations (oh yes, you read that right) on what I was looking for/my inspo, provided updated proposals every time I added something new to my ask, triple-checked any time I made a change, and was extremely communicative, professional, and responsive. My fastest vendor when it came to email. And I’ll admit, I wasn’t an easy client. I went from having no wedding party to having 5 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen. I went from no ceremony florals to decorating the whole aisle. (I couldn’t help myself since Ashley has such reasonable prices I could actually afford my dream florals, but also once again, my trials were so beautiful, I couldn’t resist). I changed colors, visions, ideas, and emailed her more times than I can count over the course of many months, and Ashley followed it to a T and kept track of it all. Ashley showed up to a walkthrough at my venue that was super far just to get to know the space and guide where florals would work best, taking notes, asking questions, and going above and beyond. She didn't need to do that for us. She did anyway. She kept up with all my asks and updates flawlessly. And on the day, she nailed every single item from boutonniere to bud vase. Side notes: I had a rosary blessed by the Pope for my wedding, and Ashley handled it with such respect, integrity, and reverence. That says a lot about a person. My mom, who has worked in florals and crafts for a long time, was speechless when she saw the work Ashley created. When she looked at the internal workings and weaving, she noted just how much time she must have spent handcrafting my floral crown. When I was walking out with my trial bouquet, I literally had a stranger stop me in my tracks to ask where on Earth I got such beautiful florals and if he can get some himself. Every time we met, Ashley would bring a little bouquet for me, which was such a cute gesture. I secretly dried all of them to keep. And finally, Ashley herself. She is caring, tender, sweet, creative, and extremely hardworking. We believe she is blessed by God Himself lol. (But actually, though. She has a gift.) Her talent is unbelievable. I had a special request for a floral crown, and it was THE talk of the night. People would come over and poke it because they couldn’t believe it was real. Ultimately, if there were more vendors like Ashley, there would be much happier, less stressed brides in the world. And if there were more people like Ashley in general, the world would be a better place. I will miss her. Enjoy her and her florals for me. Let them take your breath away, they will.

The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!

Elegant Floral Creations by Amy went above and beyond for both my daughters Bridal Shower and Wedding. For the Shower we were not sure what we wanted but we told Amy the theme and she wowed us all. The flowers and the colors were all beautiful and went perfect with our theme. Our guest are still talking about how beautiful all the decorations were and how the flowers brought everything together. For the wedding, my daughter knew exactly what she wanted and when I tell you Amy more then delivered I am not exaggerating. The floral bouquets and boutonnieres were stunning and when we walked into the venue the floral arrangements and swags and floral details with the candles took our breath away. The Venue was beautiful but the flowers made everything even more beautiful and elegant! The florals and candles really set the tone and the mood. The attention to detail was phenomenal! The photographer was even excited about all the details in which she made sure to capture in the photos. We will be using Elegant Floral Creations by Amy for all our future floral needs! I highly recommend Amy, she is easy to talk to, she answered every question quickly and gave us suggestions for some things we were not sure of and she was on time and the venue staff really liked working with her and her team as well.

Abby was WONDERFUL to work with for my bridal shower flowers! Her communication was responsive, prompt, professional and friendly. I gave her a list of some flowers and colors that I love, and she included every single one. Abby recommended the shape and size of the arrangements that would best match the tables at my venue, and they were perfect. I mentioned that my theme was a farmer's market, and Abby brought fresh strawberries that she cascaded out of the arrangements! Abby arrived the minute she said she would for delivery with a cheerful energy. I was so blown away by how beautiful the arrangements were, and how perfectly they matched my vision. EVERY guest commented on how stunning the flowers were, and the employees at the venue asked for Abby's information. I cannot recommend Abby enough, and I can't wait to use her for my next event!

Isabelle is so incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and patient; a true artist with their flowers :') I emailed Isabelle to ask about DIY floral arrangements for our June 2025 wedding. We had such a fun time thinking up ways to engage my partner and I's family and friends, and Isabelle came up with the idea for a flower arranging party in their beautiful shop. The day before our wedding, we had our family try their hand at floral design. They had so many questions (ie, "Am I doing this right?" "What kind of flower is THIS?!"), and Isabelle greeted them all with understanding and care. AND there was handmade herbal tea and strong air conditioning on a 95-degree day. It was an experience I will never forget; thank you, Isabelle & the folks who make Fairy Meadow Flowers so special! :') Photo credit: Ken Yotsukura (& family/friends)

Afterall is a floral studio led by lifelong friends & design duo, Demelza Levick and Angela Nitschke, who grew up together on a fruit farm at the foot of Mount Monadnock in Southern NH. We believe that flowers have the power to transform life's celebrations into breathtaking memories, by connecting them to a place, a season, and a story. We had the most incredible experience with Demelza and Angela! They created the dreamiest ceremony and reception spaces for our wedding and even incorporated personal touches into my bouquet. I loved it and our guests did too! It was truly magical. They were also really easy to work with and explained at the beginning how many meetings to expect and when, and also welcomed questions in the interim. All I can say is WOW! When it comes to Sasha, I cannot express how magical and incredible working with her has been. Throughout my entire wedding planning process, so many people kept saying “no one is going to remember or talk about your florals when the wedding is over!” Boy were they wrong! Since I got married, EVERYONE is STILL talking about my wedding florals produced by Sasha and how INCREDIBLE they were! She is a true master at her craft and made our special day look and feel like a real-life fairy tale!!! Sasha so genuinely cares about her work and gets just as excited as you, if not more! She kept me in the loop throughout the entire process and was just extremely easy going, personable, and readily available to chat anytime I had a question or concern. She wants your day to be just as special as you do! Exactly what I envisioned for my wedding day, Sasha curated in the most graceful fashion. A true artist!!! There’s people that do the job, and then there’s people that love the job and Sasha is one of those rare individuals. My mother in-law watched her meticulously curate my wedding arbor and noted how deeply she paid attention to every detail of my wedding! Sasha, I cannot thank you enough for your astonishing work and for being who you are! I will miss you! – Brooke & Jordan

Working with Lilya was a highlight of our wedding. She brought our vision to life perfectly, and we both teared up seeing the amazing flowers she’d put together. She made our wedding day magical and beautiful, and we couldn’t have been happier. She also put up with lots of input and a barrage of flower pictures for weeks leading up to the wedding, and it was clear that she looked closely at each one of our inspiration photos and took all of that into account. We can’t recommend her enough!

I’m Kya, the florist and creative mind behind FLORIA Design Studio, a Boston-based floral practice where artistry meets intention. I truly cannot say enough good things about Kya & Floria Design Studio! I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted for florals for our wedding, but I knew I wanted it to be unique and feel like me. I found Kya through an inquiry to another florist - I was in search of a LGBTQ-friendly vendor, preferably a woman as we were hoping for all female vendors. Floria is a queer, black, women owned business which supports LGBTQ & BIPOC communities -- what more could you ask for?! From the minute I met Kya I knew she was perfect for our wedding. She immediately understood my style, the vision, and the fact that we did not want conventional. I shared some inspo photos with Kya, and asked for a range of textures, mediums, & colors. Her proposal was spot on from the first draft, and we even decided to add candles & table decor to our package - which I am SO grateful for because they were stunning. Kya was so kind, easy to communicate with and accommodating of a couple of last minute switch ups. When I saw my bouquet and arrived at the venue to see our arrangements, I couldn't help but cry, I was so overwhelmed with happiness. Kya delivered something that was beyond my wildest dreams - the way she captured every element I wanted SO perfectly while also staying within our budget & honoring our personal style was truly special. I would recommend Kya HIGHLY for any event or floral service - our guests were in love with the florals and I can guarantee I'll be staring at the photos for years to come. THANK YOU KYA for helping to make our day perfect. I cannot wait to continue working with Kya in the future for other floral orders & events.

Local Lore (formerly VDL Brothers) began as a farm with a single grower dreaming of providing locally grown, beautiful flowers. Now, we are bringing the produce of that farm to couples who are looking for fresh florals designed with a romantic, whimsical touch. We love to create soft, flowing bouquets, nature inspired arches, creative statement pieces and installations. We give each of our couples a high level of attention to detail, and dedicate our time to two events per month.

My wedding was last month and I am so BEYOND happy I chose VDL Brothers as my florist. Sonja is not only extremely talented but also attentive, reliable, supportive, and consistently went above and beyond to make my wedding flowers and decor special and personalized. My bouquet made me cry (happy tears) when I saw it. As did the boutonnières, wedding party flowers, and decor. Each bridesmaid bouquet, boutonniere and bud vase was unique and intricately done. She really listens to what you want and makes it a reality. During the early planning process she made a personalized event plan complete with my and her own inspiration pics, and kept it updated whenever I needed to make a change. Perhaps the highlight was the Bud Vase wall that she constructed from scratch for my seating chart. It was beyond what you see on Instagram and Pinterest. She also provided a chuppah which was more sturdy and beautiful than any I found elsewhere, and was hands on with managing the set up and take down of all the decor. I was worried about “spending so much on flowers” but honestly the flowers/decor/experience working with her was easily one of my favorite parts of my wedding, and worth every penny and then some. Her pricing is a steal for what you get with her.
