About Browtine Photography

Kayt

Photographer

Hello, Thank you for your interest in Browtine Photography. I grew up in Western Massachusetts in a very creative family. When I traveled to Australia in high school my mother sent me with five rolls of film, yes FILM! However, when I returned from my trip with 27 rolls of film I realized that photography was and is my passion. I went off to a four year college, took some photography courses, and decided I wanted to pursue my passion, so I attended Hallmark Institute of Photography. It is so surreal to me that I can do what I love every day and make it my career!

Some may ask where the name "Browtine Photography" came from to begin, it is helpful to know that “tines” are the forks on an antler. Therefore the brow tine is simply the tine on the deer’s brow, or the first division of antler from its head. But there is more to it than that. The general consensus is that the bucks with fully-formed brow tines are the best because they are fully matured and have helped populate a local herd.
