“I cannot put into words just how instrumental Lauren and her team were to our wedding day. I truly do not think it would have been possible without her. In case you need convincing, here are the top 10 reasons why you should have hired LAR Photography for your wedding yesterday: 1) (the most obvious reason) She is a genius behind the camera. She has a true talent for finding the beauty in every moment and capturing it. 2) She has a knack for making getting your picture taken not feel awkward, something we were very afraid about as people who don't often find themselves in front of a camera. 3) She has a wonderful team of people behind her. “We had Makena as our wedding photographer for our November wedding. She was absolutely amazing to work with! It has taken me a little bit to write a review because there's a million things I could write about and narrowing it down was a task. First, she was more than willing to meet with us well before the wedding to go over what to expect because we were in the dark about the whole wedding process so knowing what we needed to tell a photographer was new to us. She went above and beyond. As a bride I was a little stressed that day and she helped me in everyway. She gave advice, was so generous as to go and receive something I needed, even went to check on things and communicated things for me. I never would have expected that but it honestly helped me out tremendously and actually was a main point to helping the wedding go so smoothly. My husband and I aren't exactly comfortable taking pictures and I was nervous because I wouldn't know how we were suppose to pose or anything like that. Makena made us feel comfortable and directed us for the photos, which took away any nervousness. She was so warm and friendly. We even had a lot of comments from our guests about how nice she was. Our pictures came out amazing. She gave us a sneak peak the morning after which was so awesome to get to show off. The pictures came back at a more than reasonable time and I was very impressed by them. Her work is amazing and she is just a great person all around. Anyone would be lucky to get to work with her.
