“So many great things to say about this venue! *Gorgeous venue & perfect location* Every other venue we looked at had these ugly-colored, outdated carpets covering the entire reception hall. What's unique to Greentree is the beautiful large tiles and chandeliers. Not only is it breathtaking to look at, but all of your photos will sparkle and it makes for a perfect blank palette for any color scheme! The rooms are spacious enough for all of your needs, yet so intimate. Since everything is in one area, the guests are always together and it never feels like people are separated. There was plenty of room for all of our vendors to set up successfully. The location is perfect - on the water with beautiful views. We had guests from all over so New Rochelle was the perfect middle ground! Not too far from the city folks but also not too far from those living further north. *All-inclusive is the way to go* We booked Greentree the moment we got home from our initial appointment! From day 1, Kristina was BEYOND helpful with everything from wedding details, to suggestions & words of advice. We planned and pulled off an incredible, full-on wedding in only 3 months and I don't think we could have done it without Greentree. Everyone was shocked! She made everything so easy for us and low-stress. This venue has a great reputation and whenever I mentioned it, everyone was so excited and surprised I was able to book in such short timing. There are SO many benefits to an all-inclusive venue. As a bride there are a million and one things to worry about - but this venue takes care of it all. No need to worry about booking all of the details like catering and a cake decorator. Didn't need a wedding planner either because of their amazing team! The cake the baker made was STUNNING. The cocktail hour had a huge, incredible variety of food and guests were shocked to find out we still had all of our actual meal courses to follow! They were so flexible and accommodated us bringing our own cultural traditional cookies to put out as well. *Super attentive & flexible* Bradford is AMAZING and helped us with our final decisions and decor! We also received a day-of bridal attendant and maitre d' who were beyond accommodating. My bridal attendant was with me the entire night fixing my dress, holding my bouquet, asking me if I would like a drink, and helping me with anything I needed. Our maitre d' Gonzalo is a GEM. I somehow spilled an absurd amount of chocolate from the fountain smack in the middle of my dress. Gonzalo sat with me for minutes miraculously scrubbing it off until it was gone. It was an impossible task but he did not give up until the problem was fixed. He also checked in with us repeatedly throughout the night, guided us to where we had to go at certain times, and made sure we were taken care of. As all weddings, unforeseen things happen. This team is super quick on their feet! Our wedding was in October and was blue skies just about every day of the month. Of course, our weekend there was an impromptu Nor'easter. I'll admit I was bummed as I was looking forward to the gorgeous outdoor setting and photos on the water. However, when I saw how beautiful everything was inside, I was moved to tears. For a venue to successfully pull off a change like that last minute and do such a beautiful job that I was so happy & grateful to have the wedding inside, speaks volumes. It was a perfect day and I wish we could do it all over again. Thank you all SO much!!!”

“Incredible, gorgeous venue! Althea and the whole staff were incredibly instrumental in the planning and day of our wedding! This wouldn’t have happened without Althea. She is responsive, kind and always there to support. Her resume speaks for itself- had her wedding there as well. I truly cannot say enough good things about the venue. The catering is delicious, and for a wedding in 2026 still technically in NYC, we were able to keep the cost reasonably affordable. Their pricing for a plate ranges from under 100 which is a bargain in my eyes. Filled with ample places to take pictures, options for ceremony inside and outside, we were able to have 130 people sit comfortably outside. We could not be more floored by the staff’s experience and expertise and would recommend this to anyone who wants a beautiful outdoor setting and something within the city limits.”

“We worked with Chantal and Sasha for our 8/2023 wedding and could not have had a better experience. Chantal was so responsive, helpful, creative, patient, and overall just truly pleasant to work with. She listened to what we wanted and helped make our day feel so unique and special to us. The entire staff made our dream wedding day come true and I could not recommend the venue more. Sasha was our wedding attendant and so sweet and attentive and patient. She's been working at the venue for 19 years and her experience was so helpful to have! We moved cocktail hour out on the patio for an additional fee which was also greatly appreciated by our guests who got to take amazing photos and enjoy the gardens before our dinner - highly recommend considering if it's in your budget! Again, really enjoyed working with the entire NYBG team and specifically with Chantal and Sasha. We will thrilled with the outcome!”

“We could not be more happy with how our wedding turned out at Mamaroneck Beach and Yacht Club. There are so many things that make this venue special. The service, the scenery, the food, and the run of show were all spectacular. The service. We received attentive and detailed service throughout the entire planning process. The director of events, Bob, answered all of our emails promptly and with detail. He is a wonderful man who goes above and beyond to make sure that we were thoroughly satisfied and feeling well taken care of. Bob was so fantastic at helping us come up with solutions to challenges that emerged at different stages of the planning process, and we couldn’t have pulled off the party we wanted without his patience, thoughtfulness, and support. On the day of, we were made to feel so special by all the staff at MBYC. We were given a personal “bridal attendant” who followed us around all day and attended to any needs we had that came up- like holding my bouquet during photos, getting us fresh drinks, grabbing some items from the bridal suite. All of our guests were telling us how impressed they were by the level of service and consideration they received from all the staff. Everyone was kind, professional, and in great spirits. The scenery. The venue space at MB&YC is truly RIGHT on the water! It is so incredibly gorgeous. The cocktail hour is on a beautiful deck over the water. The reception is in a ballroom with giant windows facing the water. The space does not need much more decoration to feel special. It is elegant and special, yet practical, home-y, and not at all stuffy. The food. We were so impressed by the food. Typically wedding food is basic and mass produced, but every dish at MB&YC felt special. We had so many friends after the wedding recounting their favorite bites throughout the night. The mac and cheese bites as well as the New York Strip Steak were definitely crowd pleasers. Not only was the food plentiful, but it was all also incredibly tasty. Bob and his staff also made sure to take care of our guests with dietary restrictions. Everyone ate well at our wedding. The run of show. Bob and his team were working very hard the evening of our wedding to ensure the schedule was kept and everything went as planned. Leading up to the event, Bob heard all of our concerns and desires, and he was able to execute a fabulous event the evening of our wedding. I was never once concerned that something was missing or forgotten, I trusted Bob and I knew he was going to make sure we had a perfect night. Overall, definitely book your wedding here at MB&YC! We can’t speak highly enough about our special day here!”

“We're so glad we chose The Bonnie for our wedding. Living in the city we don't get to host people often and were looking for a venue with a warm and personal vibe, elevated without being too formal - we were so lucky The Bonnie is right in our neighborhood! Their event manager Tali is very flexible, calm, and easy to communicate with. She and the whole staff were amazing throughout the night, resetting the ceremony space into dinner space seamlessly and navigating around an enthusiastic dance floor late into the night. Not a glass was broken! They also let us use the bar TVs to share a slideshow and some videos which were a big hit with guests and made the whole event feel so personal. We booked the back garden, oak room, and snug area and had around 105 people. This was a good number for the space (max capacity was 120 which I'm glad we did not hit). We got lucky with the weather for mid August and it was low 80s during the day of our wedding. I was nervous about the heat in the garden but it was comfortable. I was also a bit nervous about the dance floor being cobblestone but it was perfectly fine and didn't stop anybody of any age! If you have eaten here you know the food and drinks are great. We particularly appreciated the ease of accommodating dietary restrictions. Their wedding menu has a nice selection of options and their executive chef Nick also customized a bit beyond that, offering us a gluten free dessert. Our one vegan guest got a vegan pastrami sandwich which was a hit! There was also more food at cocktail hour than I expected, with a couple people asking us if it was the dinner. This will sound weird but I was surprised how much fun I had. So thankful to everyone at The Bonnie for being so on top of everything and letting us enjoy the day!”

“Atmosfera was the perfect space for our wedding day. The venue itself is stunning and spacious, with plenty of room for all our guests to celebrate comfortably. David, the owner, was fantastic to work with and made us feel heard throughout the planning process, though we did find the venue coordinator's communication a bit unclear at times. On the day of the event, the staff really showed up for us – the room flip was seamless and the bar and wait staff were attentive and responsive to our needs. We did experience some AC issues that really made the ceremony experience tough for the bride, but nothing took away from how beautiful the space looked or how smoothly everything ran. We'd definitely recommend Atmosfera to other couples looking for a gorgeous venue with a team that genuinely cares.”

Where else could you have a reception for 50 guests for around 5k and it includes food. We did opt for a cash bar to keep costs down. My one issue was the elevator was not working. I am disabled and unable to take stairs. Thankfully the venue quickly corrected this and the rest of the event went wonderfully.”

“From the moment we walked into Sea Cliff Manor, we knew it was the one. It was actually the first and only venue we looked at because the same day we toured, we immediately fell in love and booked it on the spot. Sophia was incredibly sweet, welcoming, and helpful from the very beginning. She made the entire experience feel so special and truly helped us envision our dream wedding there. Fast forward to our wedding day — it honestly could not have gone more perfectly. Ian and the entire team went above and beyond in every possible way to make sure our day was seamless, stress-free, and everything we dreamed it would be. The views were absolutely incredible. We were lucky enough to have the most gorgeous sunset, and with the sun shining during cocktail hour, the entire atmosphere felt magical. The cocktail hour itself was completely out of this world — from the live saxophone player creating such an elegant vibe to the most unique, classy, and delicious dishes being served all throughout the space. Our guests are still talking about it! The venue itself is stunning, the food was amazing, and the staff made us and our guests feel so special all night long. Every detail was handled so professionally, and we truly felt cared for from start to finish. We are beyond grateful to the entire Sea Cliff Manor team for making our wedding day truly unforgettable. We would choose this venue again a million times over!”

Sweet Afton

Astoria, NY

“We had our City Hall wedding this summer and chose Sweet Afton & The Sidekick for our evening celebration with about 70 guests, and we truly could not have been happier with the experience. We hosted an open bar with a spread of small bites, and both the drinks and food were fantastic. The cocktails were so well made, the food was delicious, and our guests loved everything. Our bartender was wonderful and kept the drinks coming all night. At one point, our group ordered about 10 Old Fashioneds at once, and she just got right to work making them all! Tali, the event manager, was absolutely wonderful to work with from beginning to end. In the weeks leading up to the event, she walked us through all the details from lighting, flowers, food, event flow, to the disco ball, and even things I never would have thought to ask about myself. She was thoughtful, organized, and incredibly helpful. One of my favorite examples of how game Tali was for all our ideas happened during a planning meeting. I wanted to test how the speakers would sound for a dance performance, and it happened to be raining. Tali still went outside and stood in the rain so I could properly test the sound! We learned that she is also a dancer, so she completely understood the cause. On our wedding night, she even helped cue the music for the performance. That really sums up what it was like working with her. She was there running the show throughout the evening, but everything happened so seamlessly that you almost couldn't tell she was there. The team was also incredibly flexible about letting us make the celebration feel like our own. We brought our own flowers, had a live sketch artist, planned a dance performance, and even had the option to bring our own dessert. At our request, they also reserved two tables for our families and made sure our older parents had chairs with backs so they would be comfortable throughout the night. The space itself is beautiful, but it really comes alive at night. Between the exposed brick, colorful lighting, candlelight, and a classic NYC feel, the venue had such a warm, intimate atmosphere. Our photos turned out beautifully against the colorful backdrop. There were also thoughtful touches on the day of the event, including printed drink and food menus created specifically for our celebration, which looked beautiful, polished, and professional. Most importantly, we were able to actually enjoy our own party. Everything felt taken care of, our guests had a wonderful time, and the night felt exactly like the celebration we had imagined. We are so grateful to Tali and the entire Sweet Afton & The Sidekick team for making our wedding celebration so fun, beautiful, and memorable. We would absolutely recommend them for a wedding or special event!”

“Overall, we are happy with our wedding day. The Mansion is in the process of being renovated/restored and so far it is looking beautiful! The hotel rooms were recently updated and guests were happy with them. The food was also FANTASTIC! (All of our guests were raving about all of the food). They clearly are a well oiled machine when it comes to throwing weddings. We also had our welcome dinner there the night before, which went amazingly and there was so much food everyone was happy! However, there were a few hiccups that bothered us considering how much money is put into having a wedding & how this venue does weddings all.the.time. so expectations are high. In the planning process, the event coordinator position was replaced 3 times in the year we were planning our wedding with them, the last replacement being the week before our wedding. The final replacement did not have any of our vendor info or cake selections and called me 4 days before my wedding about it (...scary). It must've been a miscommunication from the coordinator prior to her, as that girl never responded to any of our emails; I'm sure she did not keep any notes. The current coordinator also could not answer simple questions our friends/family asked her and was very pushy. On our wedding day, I was paired with a Maitre D who was very sweet, but I'm not sure about her "years" of experience that she claimed to have. While taking photos with our photographer she wasn't paying attention and wasn't fixing my dress/veil every time wind blew it out of place so the photographer had to leave his place each time to fix it himself (it was a windy day so this happened a lot). The photographer also asked her to assist in a "veil toss" shot and she ripped the veil from my head, yanking my head back, when she was just supposed to toss it up in the air. It hurt and pulled on my hair style that was supposed to last all night. I mentioned before the food was excellent, and the Chef is incredible. However, when we booked our venue last year, we were adamant about wanting a real wedding cake--not a fake one you cut one slice into for pictures. We were told by one of the event planners there that all tiers were going to be real cake, but during our cake cutting, we cut into styrofoam...it was disappointing. The cake they served was delicious, but we thought we were paying for a real cake because we were told it would be 100% real. We probably would not have booked this venue had we known we'd get a fake cake; it was something my dad made sure to ask at every venue we checked out, it was important to him. Additionally, some rude comments were overheard by our guests made by various staff members about our wedding. As a business owner whose business is to also provide a service, that is absolutely unacceptable, especially while on the job where people can hear you. Jazmin, the Chef, and the front desk ladies were very pleasant and professional to work with, but no one else there seemed to know what they were doing. It ended up working out but again, with how many weddings this place throws, you'd expect a better level of professionalism.”

“From the moment we saw the back rooms at Arte Cafe, we knew it would be the perfect venue for our wedding. The staff were incredibly open to our wishes and flexible in working with us to make our vision a reality. The skylight and garden rooms looked absolutely beautiful, with the natural light and greenery creating a magical, airy atmosphere, and hanging lights and chandeliers brought elegance once the sun set. The cocktails, passed appetizers, and dinner buffet were all delicious, and the staff - from the servers and bartenders to the manager - were extremely attentive and prompt. Alexis, the venue coordinator, was very helpful in managing communications with the restaurant and coordinating the kitchen. She could be a bit hard to get in touch with at times and was not at the venue the day-of the wedding, but the management staff took over and the event got set up the way we wanted (although this took some prompting / follow up from us) and flowed seamlessly. We ended up with exactly the wedding we had hoped for. We highly recommend Arte Cafe for any couple looking for a stunning, flexible venue that will truly make your special day feel like a dream come true. You might have to put a bit more of your own time into making sure you get what you asked for, but if you are willing to put in some of the extra effort it is well worth it.”

“From the moment I walked into VCLS, I knew this was the place where I wanted to have my wedding. The ballroom and grounds are absolutely stunning, and there was more than enough room for our 200 guests. Even though it rained, there were gorgeous indoor photo opportunities — we can’t wait to see the professional shots! Most of our vendors had worked here before and were excited to be back. Communication with Barry and Amy was seamless. They reassured me when I had questions, answered emails quickly, and even made my heart-shaped challah dream a reality. It’s the little touches that matter! Barry made this part of wedding planning stress free and he sure knows how to run a venue. Not to mention, he is very flexible and accommodating. Guests are still raving about the food and drinks. We had amazing options like the foodtini station, tacos, passed tomato soup & grilled cheese, and exit stations which included popcorn, cookies, and pretzels. It was a hard decision on what to choose for the food since there were so many options and we saw this first hand at the food tasting! The entire VCLS staff was incredible, making sure every guest felt taken care of all night. A special thank you to Amy, who was by my side from 3 PM until midnight and who fixed my dress just an hour into the reception when the bustle broke (she fixed it in half a second!). The next day, she also sent me 300 photos so we could revisit before we got the professional photos back. Amy had everything under control from the minute we stepped foot into the venue the day of the wedding and she was also there for my bridesmaids if they needed anything. I HIGHLY recommend VCLS!!! I’m sad my wedding day is over but I am so happy I chose this venue. 1000000/10!!”

“Let me start off by saying that I don’t typically leave reviews, but I needed to leave one for this amazing team and venue! We just had our wedding there this February, and WOW!!!!! I cannot say enough good things about this venue. We were looking for a venue that was affordable and willing to work with us and we came across this hidden gem. I wanted an enchanted romantic candle lit wedding and this was the perfect place for it. The chapel is connected to the tented area, which is breathtaking. They have a beautiful suite on site where my bridal party and us were able to get ready in. They had pastries, coffee, and more ready for us while we were getting ready which I thought was such a beautiful touch. Arthur and Kat were extremely responsive from start to finish. They answered any questions that we had and were so attentive to everything! As a bride, I had some anxiety leading up to the day of but their prompt responses gave me piece of mind. The day of the wedding their whole team was on it either setting everything up. It made the experience stress free and they made our vision come to life - it exceeded our expectations by far! Our family and friends couldn’t believe how calm I was the day of the wedding and I kept telling the it’s bc they LITERALLY have the best team. I honestly can’t believe anything less than a 5 star review for this place if I’m honest. All of my guests kept raving about how attentive the staff was and how it was THE BEST service they’ve ever had at a wedding. If any one is in doubt about booking them for your wedding, don’t be! This is the perfect place and has the best team to host your wedding! All in all if we had to choose again, we’d choose The Sanctuary in a heartbeat! Do yourself a favor and give them a chance. You will not be disappointed! The sanctuary team has become family to us and for that we will always be eternally grateful to them!”

“Our wedding at Ravel was nothing short of extraordinary. From our very first phone call with Eman to the very last dance, the entire team made us feel supported, celebrated, and completely at ease. Our wedding planner, Eman, was an absolute star. Her organization, creativity, and calm presence kept everything on track. She understood our vision from day one and executed every detail flawlessly. We truly could not have asked for a better guide throughout this journey. My bridal attendant, Mrianda, was a lifesaver. She anticipated every need before I even had to ask — fixing my dress, keeping me hydrated, calming my nerves, and making sure I felt beautiful and comfortable all day long. Her kindness and attentiveness made a world of difference. A special thank-you goes to Anna and Joe, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the entire day ran smoothly. Whether it was coordinating timing, helping guests, or managing transitions, they handled everything with professionalism and genuine care. We felt so well taken care of, and our families noticed too. The venue itself is stunning — from the views, THE VIEWS, to the ambiance to the seamless flow of each part of the celebration. But what truly sets The Ravel apart is its incredible team. They made our wedding not just beautiful, but stress-free and joy-filled. Our guests were talking about our wedding for weeks after. All raving about the views, food, cocktail hour, and the overall incredible time they had. If you’re considering Ravel for your big day, do it. We also rented the Du Val suite for getting ready, and it was a superb space for the groom’s party and extended family to get ready and hang out and also has the most beautiful garden with city views. “We got married in June at GOC and it was the best day of our lives in every way, largely thanks to the hospitality from the GOC crew. If you're contemplating having your wedding here, DO IT. Truly unreal experience from start to finish. In the months leading up to the wedding, Stella, Chloe and Joe were so flexible and made themselves available every step of the way. From our food tasting, to tap/ cocktail selection - we really felt like we had complete agency. The GOC team helped us build a menu with all of our favorite foods. Everything was so delicious and fresh - so many people complimented the food. Food and drinks were plentiful. The bar staff was lighting fast and had plenty pre-poured - I don't think anyone waited for a drink for more than 5 seconds. Stella was a HUGE support in working with our various vendors. She integrated sweet little personal touches all around the venue - from our table number, to the menus. It feels like she thought of everything. We felt so supported every step of the way. We had our 120 person ceremony on the roof, cocktail hour downstairs, and dinner / dancing upstairs. The space is so flexible and comfortably fits more people than you'd think. We had a full band, a packed dance floor, and still somehow plenty of space to roam. The team flipped the space SO fast between our ceremony and reception. The skyline and bridge view made a stunning backdrop for our ceremony. The staff made sure we had drinks in our hands, and plates at our table. when we went upstairs We were truly blown away. The space is stunning as it and requires so little decor , if any at all. We loved that GOC has table cloths/ chairs/ tableware etc. It's really tough to find a true full service venue in NYC. They really can do it all, which allowed us to be present and focused only on having fun that day. I could go on and on and on, but I'll finish by saying that I'd be happy to talk to anyone about our experience because it was truly so perfect.”
