**We are new to Zola but not new wedding photographers.** Banker Creative is a small business consisting of myself Joe, and my wife Ashley. We are a Husband + Wife Creative Team that specializes in documenting weddings. We call Ohio home, but we are grateful to have the opportunity to continue to capture weddings all over the country. I moved around a lot growing up and I can remember not always loving it. But now, truly grateful for how it's shaped me. My husband was the exact opposite. He had a hometown, graduated high school with childhood friends, knowing every street, and watching every change. I think that is part of the reason we were attracted to each other. One yearning for roots, and the other for branches. Finding them within each other. Finding in each other a home and an adventure. The more difficult things became, the more I clung to small moments of beauty. When things felt dark, I clung to the light. And I could always find light in people and in nature. Focusing on others instead of my own dark days brought me joy every time without fail. I always knew I was creative but it took me a while to find my niche! As I ventured into photography, everything fell into place. It was as if I already knew the language, I just had to find the words.
