My name is Jennifer! I am a former educator, current mama and preschool teacher! Photography has been something I’ve enjoyed my whole life. Couldn’t catch me at the zoo without my disposable camera! I am an easy going, bossy when I need to be, fun loving photographer here to support you on your big day!
Being an educator (special education at both elementary and high school level) turned preschool teacher, I know how to handle many different situations. Cousin Joey wants to get in on photos, he can wait. Drunk groomsmen, I can get them together. You have nothing to worry about. I’m also go with the flow and low stress all while making sure to capture every part of your day. I am a fly on the wall to capture how your day unfolds but also more than happy to get involved, dance a little, and guide you to getting the most beautiful photos!

Choosing JMSmith Photography was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Jennifer was amazing to work with, not just because of her incredible talent, but because she is a great person who simply loves what she does. From our first meeting, Jennifer's communication was both professional and approachable. We never felt like just another wedding on her schedule. She took the time to get to know us—our quirks, our inside jokes, and all the little things that make us unique. The photos are absolutely stunning! They’re creative, full of emotion, and capture every detail beautifully. She stuck to our timeline perfectly while still being playful and flexible (thanks for filming our silly TikTok request!). The final photos are amazing AND the feeling of comfort she brought to our special day is truly what sets JMSmith Photography apart.
