“The moment we first toured The Hummingbird Chateau we fell in love and knew this was where we were meant to get married. Working with Angela and the owners were amazing. Went above and beyond and made our vision come to life with the expansive decor they offer and her creative eye! I can’t recommend them enough! Beautifully unique venue, stunning decor to choose from their vast inventory, the eclectic colorful farmhouse has an amazing photo opportunity in every nook and cranny! The bridal suite is gorgeous and relaxing and the grooms area was spectacular. I could go on and on raving about everything this venue offers. We were married in one of the outdoor locations by the greenhouse and it was perfect (the rain plan ceremony spot was a stunning back up option-so many great areas to choose from). The Hummingbird Chateau is a must see! - You’ll fall in love just like we did :)”

“The Inn at Leola Village was a fantastic, amazing, and efficient wedding venue that exceeded our expectations. Gianna, the event coordinator, was absolutely incredible and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the entire wedding day. She was incredibly organized and thorough during the planning process, taking an enormous weight off our shoulders. She went above and beyond for us throughout the entire process. The venue itself was a great size and well-appointed. The areas to take photos was great and exactly what I was searching for as my background. While we wish we could have used a different vendor for the flowers, overall the value and all-inclusive package were well worth the price. We are so grateful to Gianna and the entire team at The Inn at Leola Village for making our special day run so smoothly.”

“We booked the Barn at Mount Hope for our wedding in March of 2019. Little did we know it would be rescheduled twice due to Covid-19. Nicole worked with us through everything from start to finish, twice and even sent us small tokens to let us know we weren't forgotten over the two years. We really appreciated her attention to detail and her willingness to help us in this crazy hectic time. Nicole and her team were amazing from 2019 to 2021 and we couldn't have been happier with the event. The wine was delicious and we made new cider fans out of some family members with that amazing blueberry cider. The Barn was a gorgeous venue for the wedding we had and the Renaissance Faire backdrop only added to the feeling. It was a truly magical evening for us”

“The venue is beautiful inside and out! They made planning my wedding super easy to do on my own with their shared templates. Set up and clean up were very easy and quick. Their decor barn is packed full of anything you could need to decorate! The wedding day communication lacked a little as my maid of honors were running around trying to find the hosts to escort grandparents on the golf cart at the last minute. It seemed whenever we needed something we couldn’t find the hosts. But the day still went very smoothly aside from a few hiccups.”

“Landis Valley is a gorgeous venue if you like the rustic farm vibe. Cool old buildings, plenty of outdoor spaces, such a unique place. We got married there in September and it was so perfect—the weather, the beautiful grounds, the flowers and trees, the animals—it was exactly what we envisioned, and it made for some incredible photos! Speaking of, this place has soooo many cool photo spots. Luckily, our photographer David Naples had shot there before so he knew exactly where to go and got tons of amazing photos (if your photog has not shot there, insist they scout it before hand). The team at Landis was very helpful and easy to work with, especially Katelyn, the venue coordinator. She helped us so much with planning and answered every question, it was a huge weight lifted off us. We cannot thank her enough! Highly recommend this venue for a rustic DIY wedding.”

“My husband and I had our Christmas-themed wedding at the Eden on December 10th of 2021, and I can’t sing the praises of the wedding coordinators, concierges, catering and janitorial staff enough. From start to finish we felt genuinely cared for by everyone in the resort...and I know how often they host weddings, but each and every person on the Eden team accommodated us in such a joyful way; as if we were the only wedding in the building. And it felt like they were sincerely happy for us. Which made the day feel really, really special. Madeline and Felicia, our wedding/day-of coordinators, attended to every last detail of the day, making sure that absolutely nothing was missed. They were present, intentional, flexible, and at times even borderline protective of me and my family. And that’s anything a bride could ever ask for. I couldn’t be more grateful. As far as the planning process goes: as a project manager, I very much appreciated the explicit, direct nature of their policies and procedures. After offering me several tours of the venue (MOB was from out of town and MOG wanted to see it on separate occasions) and answering all of my many many questions via phone and email, we had several formal meetings to comb through all the details and make sure we were on the same page. Maddie was able to help me delegate and manage my expectations, especially when it came to who was responsible for what, and even then bent over backwards to help me and my bridal party with day-of tasks. Thanks again to everyone on The Eden Resort & Suites staff. You were such a crucial part of our big day and we appreciate your hard work!”

“This review has taken forever to write because there are so many wonderful things we want to say about Historic Ashland. When we first started venue hunting, we spent so much time trying to simply get responses to tour requests. We live over an hour from Wrightsville, and my mother lives two hours away, so trying to schedule a tour without being ignored for days by a venue was starting to seem nearly impossible. When we came across HA, we crossed our fingers and sent a message. We got a response before I could even lock my phone, and a tour scheduled in less than 5 minutes. And that basically describes how the rest of wedding planning went for us thanks to their detailed planning guide, which includes a list of preferred vendors, a rental guide for decorations, a timeline for the wedding day, and more. Leah and Amanda always made themselves available to answer any questions we had. From that moment until our wedding day in October 2024, we knew we were in good hands and couldn’t go wrong with the rest of the decisions we had to make. The property itself is stunning, and it was so nice to have various locations to utilize, from getting ready to all the different ceremony locations. Really our hardest decision was where to have the ceremony. We truly have HA to thank for our wedding planning process being so smooth. The entire HA team went above and beyond to make our wedding better than we could have ever imagined. You hear nightmares about how something always goes wrong on a wedding day. The HA team handled absolutely everything for us. All we had to do was show up. Not one thing went wrong. We still have guests texting us to talk about how beautiful the entire day was. Everything was perfect and we cannot thank Leah, Amanda, and the entire team enough. I will recommend this venue to anyone that wants to listen. I hope someone we know gets married there so we can go back as a guest. Not that we need an excuse to go back because Leah is such a gem.”

“We cannot say enough great things about our experience at the Cork Factory Hotel, thanks to the incredible team that made our wedding so special, starting with our first discussions and meeting with Keri! First and foremost, our coordinator, Mary, was an absolute rockstar. From the moment we started planning to the last dance of the night, she went above and beyond to ensure everything was seamless. Her attention to detail, organization, and calming presence made all the difference. She worked tirelessly behind the scenes, and we truly couldn’t have done it without her! The culinary team also deserves a huge shoutout for their flexibility and dedication to accommodating dietary needs. They provided amazing gluten-free options for Christine and select guests, ensuring that everyone had a delicious meal without any worries. All of the food was incredible, and the service was just as impressive, from our rehearsal dinner at the bakers table, our reception, and our morning after breakfast. We also want to recognize Rosetta at the front desk, who went out of her way to fix an issue with our room. She handled everything with professionalism and kindness, making sure we were comfortable and happy. From start to finish, the entire team exceeded our expectations, and we are beyond grateful for their hard work. If you’re looking for a venue with top-tier service, you’ve found it! — Stephen & Christine”

“The Imperial Event Center at the Holiday Inn was the perfect way to end our wedding night. Having a ballroom available from 10:30 pm to 1:30 am gave everyone a place to keep the celebration going after the reception. Guests were still buzzing with energy, and the space allowed everyone to relax, laugh, play games, and reconnect late into the night. It also gave us the chance to spend meaningful time with guests we hadn’t been able to chat with earlier, which meant a lot to us. The pizza and drinks were a hit, and the room was the perfect size for our group. It felt comfortable, casual, and easy, exactly what a late-night after party should feel like, especially when it’s right in the same hotel where everyone is staying. Kristen, Scott and Makayla were delightful to work with, understanding our unique needs and helping us plan for a safe and special day during a pandemic. They are thorough, kind and truly put the needs and desires of the couple above all.
