Eric Turner Photography
Rating: 5.0 (12 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $2,500
  • Serves Mound City, SD

Hey there! I'm Eric, an outdoor-loving, laid-back wedding photographer based in the Midwest who lives for capturing those real, unfiltered moments that make each love story unique. When I'm not behind the camera, you'll probably find me hiking trails or discovering new local breweries. My approach blends documentary-style storytelling with a touch of editorial flair—meaning I'll capture both those candid laughs during toasts and those naturally romantic moments during golden hour. The best photos happen when couples feel completely at ease and free to be themselves.

Awarded Best of Zola
Having Eric as a photographer is like hanging out with an old friend. He put this camera-shy couple at ease immediately, made us laugh, and always had great suggestions for posing to help get the best results possible. He came prepared with ideas for shots and scenes, and his videography was so unobtrusive we almost didn’t remember it was happening! He is quick to respond to questions, has an amazing eye for color and composition, and is generally just a really positive presence on a day that can otherwise be pretty stressful. Don’t sleep on Eric — you’ll be so glad you hired him!

Hi! My name is Steve. I do visual storytelling. I’m married with three kids and in my spare time I record music and build things. I've been filming and photographing weddings since 2009. I love travel and getting to know unique couples.

Awarded Best of Zola
We hired Steven and his team to do our wedding photos and videography. I really wanted a photographer that could capture the soul of the event, and Steven did exactly that. His photos are full of life, and I shared so many portraits with guests that actually got printed out or posted online. If you're looking for hundreds of photos of your wedding party that look exactly the same and for every planned second to be documented, Steven is not your person. If you're looking to hit the big moments but focus on capturing raw moments with timeless photos to get framed, I couldn't recommend them more. I never thought I would get a wedding video because it always seemed cheesy to me. But after watching examples of his work I fell absolutely in love with his videos. I've honestly had a hard time watching ours because it evokes so much emotion. Steven was collaborative and willing to go with the flow. We gave him the difficult task of being prepared for 3 different locations with totally differing lighting (indoor/outdoor plus shooting from high sun into the night). He puts an immense amount of care into his work and the photos are truly art that we will cherish forever. If there are specific things you want covered, be sure to share a list. When it comes to capturing the moments that can't be planned, he is on the case!

I've been passionate about all art forms for as long as I can remember! I got into photography as a little middle schooler when I received a digital camera as a gift one year, and took pictures of random objects and landscapes, submitting them into local art shows and fairs. I put my passion on the backburner when I started focusing on my schooling and career. My husband gifted me a fancy camera with lenses for Christmas in 2020 and it sparked my love once again! I have an artistic eye if I do say so myself, and love capturing those precious life moments!

I’m Nikki. A Florida-based wedding photographer documenting the wild, sacred, beautifully imperfect parts of getting married. My approach is documentary, nostalgic, and a little bit undone. I’m there for the moments you didn’t plan for: your dad trying not to cry, your friends losing their minds on the dance floor, the quiet five minutes alone together, the weird little in-between moments you won’t realize mattered until years later.

Nikki was my college senior picture photographer. I wanted to do 3 very different photo shoots, as well as incorporate my college friends and my dog. Nikki was able to execute my vision perfectly!!! She knew the perfect locations and captured the vibe I was going for in each session perfectly. I am very detailed oriented and she made sure to capture all the small personal details I wanted included as well. These are my favorite pictures I’ve ever had taken. She was so encouraging and made me feel extremely comfortable behind the camera. Whether you are wanting something more traditional or something completely unique, Nikki will execute it beautifully!!

We truly could not have asked for a better wedding photographer! From the very beginning, they were professional, organized, and incredibly easy to work with, which immediately put us at ease. On the wedding day itself, they struck the perfect balance between being calm and reassuring while also keeping everything on schedule and flowing smoothly. They captured every important moment beautifully—from the big, emotional highlights to the small, candid details we didn’t even realize were happening at the time. Looking through our photos feels like reliving the entire day all over again. The images are timeless, natural, and full of genuine emotion, not overly posed or forced! What stood out most was how attentive and thoughtful they were—not just to us, but to our families and wedding party as well. Multiple guests commented on how kind and personable they were, yet somehow always in the right place at the right time! We are beyond grateful for these photos and will cherish them for the rest of our lives. Your wedding is not a performance. It's the way you look at each other when no one's watching. Your hand finding theirs without thinking. My couples care more about what’s real than what looks good on a grid. They want gorgeous photos but also want them to mean something. The couples I work with have depth. Their stories have weight. They want someone behind the lens who sees them. Not just how they look, but who they are. Presence over performance. That's the closest I can get to naming it.

Awarded Best of Zola
From the moment we met Danielle, we knew we were in the best hands. She has an incredible eye for framing the most beautiful shots, capturing moments in a way that feels both artistic and deeply personal. But what truly sets her apart is her ability to improvise—whether it was shifting plans on the fly, working with unexpected lighting, or finding the perfect backdrop in an instant, she handled everything with such ease and creativity. Beyond her talent, she is simply a wonderful person. She made us feel so comfortable, like we were with a close longtime friend. She handled wedding day stress with grace, never letting any hiccups take away from the joy of the moment. Her calm, positive energy was exactly what we needed. If you are looking for a photographer who is not only incredibly skilled but also kind, adaptable, and truly invested in making your wedding memories as beautiful as the day itself, look no further. We are beyond grateful to Danielle for capturing our day so perfectly - we think the pictures speak for themselves

Her communication was fast and she had our shots ready in no time. She made us feel completely comfortable during a chaotic point of our life and I’m so grateful for her!

Photography truly has a full grip on my soul– I love EVERYTHING about capturing special moments to be forever held in time! I consider my style to be way more candid, as I truly adore capturing an authentic experience that is almost tangible to the person viewing the photo. I want the viewer to feel the emotion and as if they were there with us right back in that moment. I love realness of a perfect candid shot…my goal—especially with couples—is to get to the heart of their connection and connect with my couples, as well, to truly make them feel comfortable in front of the lens so that we can get to those authentic magic shots!

Their dedication, professionalism, and engaging style put us at ease throughout the entire wedding day. The team made sure I had everything I needed, including a detailed timeline and shot list, which not only helped them but also helped me stay organized and relaxed. The final photos captured all the special moments of our wedding day perfectly. We are thrilled with the quality of MoonTide Media's work and highly recommend them to any couple looking for talented, attentive photographers. These are some from our Engagement shoot as we are in process of getting wedding photos back.

I'M SUSANNA. THE GIRL BEHIND THE CAMERA. I'm a photographer based out of Boise, Idaho. I specialize in couples, lifestyle, weddings + everything raw, real and emotional. When i'm not photographing something you can find me exploring nature, hanging out at a concert or re-watching The Office (for the 100th time). I'm a lover of travel, animals, adventure, art, good food and making great memories. I've loved photography for as long as I can remember + I'm certain that capturing other people's stories + love is my passion and my calling.

Susanna Grant Photography was fantastic to work with for our wedding day. Susanna was great with communicating with us throughout the entire planning process, always responding promptly to our emails and calls. Her photography style is amazing - she has an incredible eye for capturing all the little details and special moments that made our day so unique and memorable. Susanna helped us come up with a detailed shot list ahead of time, and on the day of the wedding, she was a calming presence, making sure everything ran smoothly and supporting us every step of the way. We are thrilled with the beautiful photos she delivered, and we would highly recommend Susanna Grant Photography to any couple planning their wedding.

My name is Luca, and I’m the artist behind Bringer of Light Photography. A solo-run, heart-driven, editorial-meets-documentary brand for the tender-hearted & brave. My work is built on the idea that photographs are not just decorations, but inheritances. I’ll meet you where you are. awkward, giddy, tearful, reverent, undone - and we’ll co-create something beautiful. This is not a factory. It’s me, showing up with my whole heart to create something that feels true to you. If you want your story told with integrity, emotion, and reverence, you're in the right place. I'm so excited to meet you.

I was beyond thrilled with the stunning work Luca did for our engagement proposal on the beach. From the very first moment, she displayed impeccable professionalism, punctuality, and a true understanding of what we wanted. She captured every beautiful detail of the proposal with such grace, ensuring that the surprise element remained perfect, while still being incredibly candid and intimate. Her editing is flawless, and the final photos are nothing short of magical. Each shot perfectly encapsulated the emotions of the moment, and we couldn’t be more grateful for how beautifully she documented this milestone in our lives. We were amazed at how seamlessly she knew exactly where to be, what to capture, and how to create the perfect atmosphere. Thank you, Luca , for making our engagement unforgettable. You truly have an eye for creating timeless memories!

I'm Abby! and I’m hopelessly obsessed with love. There’s nothing like watching a couple look into each other’s eyes and realize they just got married. Being able to capture that moment- and then deliver it to the couple to keep forever- it’s truly the best. I’m here to capture so much more than just memories. I’m here to capture feeling. . The sweet glances that make your fingertips tingle. The look that makes your heart thump in your chest. The loopy butterflies in your stomach as you’re about to walk down the aisle. Those feelings. The photos I produce allow you to hold those feelings in your hand, and keep them safe for eternity.

Witnessing Abby capture Heddy + Walker was so fun! I was the venue manager on site for their wedding and Abby's professionalism, excitement, and willingness to navigate the obstacle of the day (the rain) was amazing. Abby also said she'd get the album to me as soon as it was finished and she did exactly that! I highly recommend Abby.
