“Summit Events and DJ Sean Markland were amazing to work with! Do you want to have the most epic dance party of your life at your wedding? Do you want your guests on the dance floor all night? Do you want the wedding playlist to be a reflection of you and your spouse's music choices? Then you want to book Summit Events ASAP. Our wedding DJ was Sean Markland and he was just phenomenal to work with. Prior to our wedding we had a lengthy call with Sean; my husband and I were very picky with our wedding playlist and had a rule of absolutely no traditional wedding reception songs or line-dances. We love electronic dance music (EDM) and wanted our wedding to be "festival/show vibes". We pretty much curated our own playlist of EDM, country, hip-hop, folk and I really wasn't sure how our guests would respond (and we really didn't care because it was our wedding), but the way Sean mixed and transitioned the songs and hyped up the dance floor kept the vibes going all night! We used Summit Events for our up lighting too - highly recommend as it was a great way to turn the room from a classy dinner reception to a dance party in one click! The sound quality was great for both speeches and music; we wanted to make sure guests could hear speeches clearly and we had no issues at all even though it was a large room. I also appreciated the Vibo app that we used to plan out our ceremony, entrances, first dances and our playlist for the night - it was a great tool that kept songs and notes in one place. We would definitely use Sean and Summit Events again and highly recommend them for the best night of your life!”

“My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! “Julian at Limelight and DJ Rashaun were absolutely perfect for us. We knew the vibe we wanted — and, frankly, it was a little off the beaten path since we wanted a bit of a 1930s feeling. “Mark Maskell was absolutely incredible. Even though we had an all-inclusive venue, he was my one non-negotiable outside vendor from the very beginning. As someone who has been to a million weddings and genuinely loves music and going out, I hate cheesy wedding music and forced line dancing. Mark was the only DJ whose bio openly said that if you are looking for that vibe, he is not the DJ for you. That honesty alone sold me. From the start, Mark went far above and beyond what was included in our contract. He spent countless hours helping us curate our wedding timeline, reviewing my very Type A spreadsheets, and offering thoughtful guidance. He honestly felt more like a second wedding planner than just a DJ during the planning process. And the lights. The lighting setup and light show were unreal and completely elevated the entire experience. Mark truly curates the music and the atmosphere to you as a couple, not just a generic wedding crowd. On top of all that, he is just a genuinely wonderful human. Easy to connect with, great dark humor, ADHD energy that matched ours perfectly. He is someone I would happily hang out with on a random Tuesday. Our dance floor vibes were immaculate, and we were the only wedding I have ever attended that did not have a single technical issue on the DJ’s end. “Jon was highly recommended by our wedding planner (Lissa Marie Weddings and Events), and we immediately hired him after our initial meeting. It really says something when other vendors only have great things to say! He did such a wonderful job on our wedding day and really kepted everything flowing smoothly with no hiccups. Our ceremony sounds was absolutely perfect and the microphones were sooo easy to use and captured all the sound perfectly. Jon was great at making announcements, (even though it wasn't planned) like when he had to tell people to go to cocktail hour. We also had a photobooth package with him and the attendant did such a great job running the booth. It was definitely the most popular event and our families still raves about the pictures they took! From the moment we met Jon, he was just so easy to talk to and knew exactly what we wanted for the day when we shared our vision. Jon is so professional, supportive, and positive, and I can't imagine having someone else on our special day. He is definitely worth the money and I would hire him again without a doubt for any event!”
