The magnificent Elsinore Theatre first opened its doors in 1926 and now you can host your special day in this amazing piece of Americana! With its castle-like architecture, exquisite artwork and stained glassed windows along with unparalleled acoustics, the Elsinore Theatre is the perfect spot for both a ceremony and reception. Your guests will be blown away as you say your vows on the regal stage of the Elsinore theatre while they watch from classic red velvet theatre seats. While guests mingle during cocktail hour the happy couple will take stunning wedding portraits, a particular favorite is to take whimsical photos in front of the theatre’s marquee. Make your grand entrance to the reception in Harcourt Hall when you walk down the dramatic double staircases.

This site was first developed by Philip Foster in 1847, as a resting place on the Oregon Trail. It still has four original Foster buildings (two moved onto the site), including a large hay barn, granary, and two houses. One house has been restored to its 1860 condition. We welcome all kinds of weddings, but are most appreciated by those who love Oregon History, and those who want to bring horses to the wedding. There are many options for how to use our site, and we are happy to help you create your dream event. Although parking is limited to about 50 cars, there is plenty of space for people.

Built in 1925 and renovated in 2018 The Melody Event Center offers five distinct event spaces, accommodating up to 1,000 guests and offers flexible floor plans for every occasion. The Melody Ballroom stands as our crown jewel with 30 foot high ceiling trimmed in gold, crystal chandeliers and a beautiful hardwood floor. The Sanctuary Hall is a stunning, historical landmark in the heart of Portland's Arts District. Step back into time as you bask in the warm glow of 30' hand-made Povey Brothers stained glass installations and run your fingertips along the hand-carved 130 year old Douglas-Fir pews. The Hall's rounded and layered design allows for every wedding to feel like an intimate affair, be it seven people or 700.
