We had our wedding at Ludlow Mansion in Monroe WI and it was fantastic. Penny and Greg are great and easy to work with throughout the entire process. Our guests continued to comment throughout the night how the venue was beautiful. Our wedding was in April and they were so accommodating to moving the ceremony to be inside instead of outside the morning of the wedding. I highly recommend going with the three day package as it made everything less stressful. I cannot say enough how happy we were to have our wedding at Ludlow and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for that all in one place for their weddings!

Forever Young is a newly built, family owned venue located in the heart of the Kettle Moraine Forest just outside of Palmyra, Wisconsin. While reconstructing the space, we preserved much of the original beauty and history that was, while adding the modern amenities and touches to bring your vision to life. • Romantic vineyard setting

Venue considerations

  • Best for events with big guest lists
  • Not for you if you're looking for a sleek and contemporary space
  • Does not allow pets
When we initially booked The Pavilion, we were working with someone who ended up moving on to better things and we were then in communication with Katie, who was friendly and above and beyond professional when it came to response time and the 50 million questions you have leading up to your big day. We worked with Staci for the Henrici’s catering, the food was phenomenal. She was great. She was friendly, she was respectful and kind leading up to even the week before with giving some sort of reassurance when needed as a busy bride. The 30 days before, we worked with Jill who was friendly at first but then eventually kind of became a headache and added so much more stress on me than I could ever imagine. If it wouldn’t have been such a huge financial loss, I probably would’ve cancelled my whole day. They split your “final payment” into two final payments instead of one. So that was really confusing, and we had no idea until the week OF our wedding that we still would’ve even owed money. There was miscommunication on attendance several times, the working staff was friendly but was pretty pushy through the night to where even bridesmaids and my photographer and DJ mentioned to me. We were supposed to end our night at 10:30, but it ended at 9. Overall, gorgeous venue, mostly friendly office staff, friendly but pushy catering staff. 3.5 out of 5 stars if I could based off that experience alone.

Pheasant Valley Barn
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
Brooklyn, WI
  • Up to 300 guests
  • Raw space
  • Indoor & outdoor

We welcome you to Pheasant Valley Barn! The barn is nestled in a scenic valley in the middle of our farm. The Byrne family started dairy farming in Wisconsin after emigrating from Ireland in the 1870's. In 2003, we decided to renovate our 1890's barn. We added a new metal roof and restored the interior of the barn. To celebrate, we had a barn dance for Duane's parents' 40th anniversary. Thus began "The Party Barn". In the fall of 2018, our son Cory married his fiance, Jenny. It confirmed our idea of starting a barn venue and sharing our barn and farm with others. We have been asked many times, "Why don't you rent out this barn?" We have decided the time is right to diversify our farm and start this event business. We are so happy that we restored our barn. As more and more barns and farms are lost, our barn is preserved and now can be shared with others to create a memorable and special day for your event!

Why you'll love this venue

  • Provides a dedicated team on-site
  • Rustic-chic setting
  • Dressing room available

Venue considerations

  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Venue feels large for events with small guest lists
  • Not for you if you prefer a more modern aesthetic
My husband and I were married at Pheasant Valley Barn this past summer and we could not have been happier with our venue choice. Lindsay, the owner, was extremely helpful and responsive throughout the entire planning process, offering timely advice and insights that ensured our rustic, flower-filled wedding vision came to life seamlessly. The beautiful, open barn provided a warm, welcoming backdrop for our special day. Lindsay worked hard to infuse personal touches that made our wedding feel unique. From the first venue walkthrough to the final farewell, Lindsay was there to answer every question, calm every worry, and handle all the behind-the-scenes details with total professionalism. We were able to relax and soak in every magical moment knowing we were in very capable hands. I would enthusiastically recommend Pheasant Valley Barn to any engaged couple searching for a venue that delivers beauty, charm, and outstanding service.

When my (now) husband and I got engaged, soon the reality set in that I was now to become a full time wedding planner. The checklists started getting made with the first one on the list being “find a venue”. We knew we wanted an elegant, upscale, timeless wedding. The first thing that came to mind was an outdoor country club wedding. After touring a few, we realized this was not what we wanted due to unpredictable weather, inconvenience for out of town guests, and rustic vibes we were not trying to go for. Family recommended The Concourse so I reached out to Kylie. During our first tour we knew this was where we wanted to get married. The elegant experience that The Concourse provides is unmatched. (My favorite part being the neutral carpet, no one wants bright red or blue carpet in your wedding pictures.) During one of the most stressful times, stressing about weather and rain is something you can easily take off your plate by being indoors. This venue is perfect to have everything in one place from the rehearsal, to the ceremony, to the reception. Kylie is not only helpful, but goes above and beyond to make your day perfect. She is there every step of the way in the months and days leading up to the big day to make sure your vision becomes a reality. Everything from the set up, to the timing, to helping day-of making sure everything goes according to plan was more than what was even expected. People ask how our wedding went and all we can say is “perfect”. We are so grateful to everyone on The Concourse team, especially to Kylie. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day.

Even a hotel across the parking lot. Matty did a phenomenal job, brought us drinks and always asked how we were doing. Very responsive during the whole process. Cannot recommend this venue enough. Jaclyn was a dream to work with. She answered all of my many questions and was so flexible and accommodating. She always responded very promptly and went above and beyond in answering any questions or requests. Paul, the owner, and his wife were equally helpful and kind. I loved how personable their entire family was. My now husband and I kept saying throughout the whole wedding planning process how lucky we were to find Nippersink. Some examples of how they went above and beyond: buying my favorite flavored water and Malibu to use as a signature drink, allowing us to add on an appetizer a week before the wedding, sending us pictures of all of the available decor to use (they have so many great options available!), giving us the nicest gift day of, being flexible in the rehearsal dinner timing, and allowing us to have our ceremony at the venue with only 4 months notice when our church fell through. Besides their family being the sweetest, they have created such a wonderful space! The new wooden tables and chairs are gorgeous, the hotel was just redone, the grounds are beautiful and the food was delicious. My husband and I had the wedding of our dreams at Eagle Park! We ended up renting out the entire space for our 300 person wedding. We had a sweetheart table up at the front of the eating space and were able to look out at our guests on the main floor and then up at those sitting on the balcony. We brought in a DJ and live band to dance the night away! The staff was amazing - we had a few meetings leading up to the day and they handled all of the set up and table decorations. Our wedding was in late June, so we were able to utilize their patio space, as well. Food was amazing - everyone was raving on the mashed potatoes and beef!

For the past two years, the St. Andrew's Society of the City of Milwaukee (the oldest charitable organization in Wisconsin) has hosted our annual Robert Burns Banquet at Embassy Suites to celebrate the National Poet of Scotland's birthday near January 25th. We chose Embassy Suites for access to the atrium for a bagpipe and dance presentation, their spacious meeting room and prep rooms for our pipers and dancers, available rooms for attendees to stay overnight, and the outstanding service that Claudia and her team gave us. We will be returning to Embassy Suites for our 2026 Robert Burns Banquet and are already looking forward to it.
