About this venue

Through the years we have had the privilege of being a part of beautiful Christmas Memories and have been honored to play a small role in your Weddings, Receptions, & Family Celebrations for over 40 years! The Lodge and Grounds of Williams Tree Farm have come a long way from their original state. We have completely remodeled our building making a log cabin front with a post and beam interior. Almost all of the wood in the building was grown and harvested from our older trees, which makes our Lodge very unique. A beautiful Field Stone Fire place greets you as you walk in. Homemade wooden top tables, field picked grapevine with lights, onsite parking, patio area for lawn games and natural trails throughout the grounds provide you with the perfect private celebration. We are located approximately 12 minutes from Beloit, WI, 25 minutes from Rockford, IL . Both of these amazing Cities have lots of options for your guest to be entertained and accommodations to stay!

11/10 For Ellie and her staff they were super easy to work with. They helped us along with our questions and concerns for our Dream wedding. Super accommodating to our vision and needs very helpful during the set up process before, during and after our wedding. The venue was amazing there is not one thing we would change about our experience with them. Don't plan on needing another wedding venue but we'll be back for our 25th anniversary!!!

Truly the BEST! So wonderful to work with, we really could not have asked for better! They made the wedding planning and processes so easy, and kept everything super organized. Easy to get a hold of, super down to earth, and family oriented... we were all so impressed and extremely thankful for everything Williams Tree Farm did to make our wedding a dream come true! I really could not recommend them more!!

Our event season typically runs February through the end of October.

November and December are part of our Christmas tree farm season, so event availability during that time is limited.

Alcohol is allowed under our venue guidelines. We do require special event insurance with alcohol coverage, and alcohol must be served responsibly. Self-serve alcohol and cash bars are not permitted.

Yes, we offer on-site parking for guests.

Yes, we do have accessible facilities. We’re always happy to talk through specific needs to help determine whether our space is the right fit for your event.

Our starting rental fee includes use of The Lodge for your event, along with tables and chairs for up to 300 guests, access to our prep kitchen, coffee pots and roasters, and the support of our team throughout the planning process. Depending on your package, use of the Bridal Suite may also be included.

Our standard wedding rental window is typically 9:00 AM to midnight, which includes time for setup, your event, and cleanup. Music ends at 11:00 PM, with guests exiting and the building vacated by 12:00 AM.

Our cancellation policy is outlined in our rental agreement. Because we reserve your date specifically for you, payments made are typically non-refundable, but we encourage couples to review the contract carefully for full details regarding cancellations and any applicable timelines.

Williams Tree Farm is located in Rockton, Illinois, and the nearest airport is typically Chicago Rockford International Airport, about 30 minutes away. We are also accessible from larger airports in the region, including Madison and Chicago. We recommend arranging a rental car or private transportation for the easiest travel to and from the venue.

Yes, we do require special event liability insurance for weddings and events held at our venue. If alcohol will be served, your policy must also include alcohol coverage. We can recommend common providers couples have used in the past.
