    Absolutely Beautiful Wedding Venue!

Rustic Manor 1848 was an absolutely beautiful venue and overall an amazing place to have our wedding. The space is stunning, full of charm and character, and it created the perfect backdrop for our entire day. The staff was generally wonderful. They were so kind, helpful, and professional. They really helped everything run smoothly. There was a small hiccup during cocktail hour where the bar staff seemed a bit unsure when guests started asking about the drink menu. It wasn’t a huge issue and things got sorted out! Everything else about the experience was incredible. The grounds are gorgeous, the indoor and outdoor spaces are perfect for a wedding, and the rest of the team was truly amazing. We’re so happy we chose Rustic Manor 1848 and would still highly recommend it to couples looking for a beautiful Venue with a great overall experience.

    Beautiful, Expensive

Rustic Manor was a lovely wedding venue. Our guests loved the spacious grounds, easy parking, large bathrooms, and classy rustic interior. We loved the large bridal and groomsmen suites, the payment process, the venue setting up chairs for ceremony and reception, and the professionalism of staff throughout the planning process. We did not love how expensive it was for the add ons. For a Saturday wedding in “wedding season” we paid almost 10k just for the venue and venue-specific add ons. This included string lights, nice tables, water service at dinner, use of the Photo Booth, etc. The Photo Booth did not include a guest book to put the extra slides (which we had seen at another wedding at this venue), which we didn’t realize until the night of when it was too late. The bar bill (180 guests) was about 6k. Their preferred dinner vendors were expensive and didn’t have many vegetarian options. The least expensive “preferred food vendor” was 20k for 180 guests. We *really* didn’t love that they didn’t have any signs at the bar. We were expected to purchase signs and write out the drink list, hours, and rules of the bar. Our guests did not love that there wasn’t a bartender on scene to get even water or soda prior to the ceremony. During planning, they encouraged stopping open bar during dinner, so our guests had nothing to drink for the toasts. They did not have a sound system going outside, so half of our guests were outdoors and missed all of the announcements. Our wedding was beautiful, but for a venue that “prefers” an event costing 50k, we expected more.

All of our standard inclusions are included in the rental fee. Please visit rusticmanor1848.com or email us today to learn about our inclusions.
The rental price for the facility is for the day as there are many things that need to be addressed and accomplished before your dinner and reception. The rental price remains the same if your ceremony will be hosted elsewhere as we pride ourselves in focusing on only one wedding per day.

No. To reserve your date with us an initial payment of 30% is required along with a signed rental agreement which outlines in detail Rustic Manor 1848 policies. For dinner service, we have 60” round tables which comfortably seat 8 guests per table. We also include 6’ and 8’ banquet tables for your head table, DJ, buffet, etc. These are plastic folding tables and will need to be covered with linens. Rustic Manor does not supply linens for your event. We supply up to 550 white padded folding chairs for your event. We do have 6' and 8' farmhouse tables available to rent for your head table, dessert table etc.
Inside the barn, our hayloft holds up to 150 guests for an indoor ceremony. We work with both the bride and the groom to make a decision regarding indoor vs. outdoor 24hrs ahead of time to ensure our staff has enough time for chair setup. If the guest count is higher than 150 we can hold the ceremony on the lower level. This would simply require a room flip following the ceremony.
Rustic Manor 1848 is a no flame property so unfortunately we cannot allow any candles (open or enclosed) anywhere on-site. We also do not allow sparklers or floating/release lanterns. However, flames used for catering and buffet service are perfectly acceptable.
No. The Rustic Manor farmhouse is the primary residence of owners Eric & Whitney Shneyder. For the safety and security of their home, it is not open for clients or guests to enter or use during an event. A single bedchamber is offered to the clients the night of their event. Check-in is only permitted at the conclusion of the scheduled event. We do have Bridal Suites located in the barn to get ready!
