Our main hall event space lends historic charm and elegance with a neutral backdrop designed to support all styles, dreamy, intimate, or bold. It contains our indoor bar for convenient access and features adjustable lighting to set your ideal mood throughout your celebration. This space is perfect for beautiful indoor ceremonies, refined reception dining, and all-evening dancing (all with drinks to go around).

Our Urb Garden is the perfect setting for wedding ceremonies and stunning sunset photos (without the hassle of mud and grass stains). The space features cream-colored brick, lush vine-covered walls, charming iron garden gates, and our beautiful vintage camper bar, Suesanna. Ask about additional options to delight your guests with fireside s’mores, and fun outdoor games.

The Loft at Mercantile Hall is thoughtfully designed suite that makes getting ready even more exciting. With three distinct rooms (a roomy central lounge, a brightly lit hair and makeup studio, and a private changing area for the bride), the Loft is perfect for morning mimosas, shared laughs, and calming moments before your ceremony begins.

Mercantile Hall
From the moment we toured Mercantile Hall I knew this was the venue for us. The brick, outdoor garden, and overall industrial vibe was exactly what I was looking for. Then, meeting the team solidified that this was our venue because they are all so knowledgeable, supportive, and positive. They are exactly who you want in your corner on the busiest day of your life. Beth was my coordinator (I highly recommend the luxe coordinator package) and she was AMAZING! She helped me with planning, getting organized, setting up a timeline, and supported me through the whole process. Then, once wedding day came I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Beth took care of everything and executed my vision perfectly. Additionally I used Merc Sound their DJ service and have to give a shoutout to DJ Terry! He was SO organized, detailed, and brought the energy. Having both DJ Terry and Beth running the most important day of my life kept me sane, relaxed, and able to live in the moment. Another aspect I love about this venue was the location. Downtown Burlington has everything you need for your weekend. When I booked Mercantile Hall it was primarily for the beautiful venue itself, but the staff and coordination blew my expectations out of the water. There is so much that goes on behind the seens and it is so important you have trustworthy, organized, and professional people working for you that day. I truly can’t thank or recommend Mercantile Hall & staff enough!!

We Love Mercantile!!
We just got married at Mercantile and had the best experience, a true 10/10! In our opinion, there is no need to look at any other venue!! Beth is amazing at what she does. She made our wedding planning process the most seamless and fun! Walking into Mercantile for the first time and seeing our vision come to life is a feeling we’ll never forget, and we give all our kudos to Beth for bringing the vision to life! Everyone at Mercantile is so welcoming, kind, and informative. Beth is so responsive, easy to communicate with, and truly amazing at what she does. She gave us vendor recommendations which was also so helpful! The atmosphere at Mercantile is like no other! We couldn’t be more grateful to have had our wedding at Mercantile and want to relive the day over and over again!

A Beautiful Venue with an Exceptional Team
We could not have been happier with our experience at The Mercantile for our son and daughter-in-law's wedding in June 2026. From start to finish, Beth, the event planner, was absolutely amazing. She was professional, organized, and kept everyone informed and on the same page throughout the entire planning process. Her communication was excellent, and she was incredibly responsive whenever we had questions. What also appreciated the way she presented ideas and options. She made sure we understood what was available without ever making us feel pressured. The venue itself is beautiful and worked perfectly for our celebration. We comfortably seated 165 guests indoors and only needed to remove a handful of tables to create a spacious dance floor. The outdoor ceremony was lovely, and the cocktail hour on the patio with the adorable Susannah bar created exactly the relaxed, elegant atmosphere our kids had hoped for. Burlington also turned out to be a wonderful location for our guests. There were plenty of accommodations and restaurants nearby, making it easy for family and friends traveling from out of town. As someone with a background in event planning, I tend to notice the details, and I can honestly say that The Mercantile exceeded my expectations. The combination of a beautiful venue, exceptional staff, and seamless coordination made the entire experience memorable. Planning a wedding can be stressful, and they eased some of the burden of that stress. We highly recommend The Mercantile to anyone looking for a wedding venue. It served as the perfect backdrop for a very special day, and we are so grateful to Beth and the entire team for helping make our family's special day absolutely perfect.

Perfect urban rustic venue!
We hosted our reception at the Coastal Bluff Hotel, and it Mercantile Hall was the perfect setting for our wedding. The venue has a urban rustic feel and features gorgeous, distinct spaces—we held the ceremony outside under pergola with the beautiful gate backdrop, the cocktail hour on the patio (Suesanna the Camper was a nice touch!), dinner and dancing indoors. Guests are still raving about the beautiful venue and how well the staff executed our timeline. Our coordinator Beth was amazing in helping us in the months leading up to the wedding, the communication was great, our in-house DJ (DJ Lady Groove) was excellent. Another pro for us was that it is local for us and we were able to use all local vendors.

5 Stars for Mercantile Hall
My husband and I were married at Mercantile this spring and cannot say enough great things about the venue. Having so many vendors in one spot (DJ, day of coordinator, etc.) was so helpful. DJ Terry and DJ Cesar from Merc Sound were very easy to work with and perfectly curated our vibe of our night. Nicole and Chris, our event coordinators, made sure everything went off without a hitch and that we were taken care of from the start. I highly recommend Mercantile Hall!
