    We got married at The Valerie in April, and we truly couldn't have imagined celebrating our wedding anywhere else. Everything about this venue and staff exceeded our expectations. The venue itself is absolutely stunning—from the beautiful bridal suite to the groom's suite (complete with slot machines, which were a huge hit with the guys!). The reception space is spacious and elegant, with incredible lighting, two gorgeous bars, and the perfect outdoor backdrop for modern pictures. From the moment we toured The Valerie, we were told that it was our day—that we were the King and Queen, and whatever we envisioned, they would make happen. They absolutely lived up to that promise. The entire staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. They made us feel like we were the only couple getting married there, even though there was another large wedding the very next day. We worked with Jen throughout the entire planning process, and I truly can't say enough wonderful things about her. She is kind, caring, supportive, and incredibly organized. By the end of it all, it honestly felt like I had gained a new best friend. She always responded to my emails quickly and never once made me feel like I was asking too many questions—even when I was emailing her multiple times a week! If I had a request or an idea, she made sure it happened. My family couldn't stop talking about Jen after the wedding. They were amazed by how attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely invested she was throughout the planning process and on our wedding day. She played such a huge role in making everything feel effortless and seamless. If we could do it all over again, we would choose The Valerie without hesitation. We recommend this venue over and over again to anyone looking for an unforgettable wedding experience. Thank you to Jen and the entire Valerie team for giving us the wedding of our dreams. We will forever be grateful for everything you did to make our day so incredibly special.

    From our first conversation with Jennifer at The Valerie Event Venue, we knew we had found the right place for our wedding. She was attentive to every detail and responded quickly to all of our questions, making the entire planning process feel easy and stress-free. On our wedding day, Jennifer went above and beyond to keep everything running smoothly while making sure our guests felt welcome and cared for throughout the celebration. The venue itself has an elegant and timeless feel that made our day feel special without being over the top. We were impressed by how the space brought together all of our vision, and Jennifer's friendly nature made her a joy to work with from start to finish.     If there was an option to give more than 5 stars, The Valerie deserves it! I don't even know where to start - everything was even more perfect than we could have imagined. Picking a venue is a very tough, but important decision. I found myself googling The Valerie daily before finally biting the bullet on a venue that wasn't even built yet - but boy am I glad I did!!! This place is absolutely STUNNING. From the very beginning, I knew I wanted a classy and elegant vibe for my wedding and The Valerie matches that perfectly. From the gorgeous bridal suite, to the large light wall, the sparkly chandeliers, the aesthetic bars, the names of all the spaces, and the employees. Matty is such a joy to work with! From the initial conversation to the very last, he made sure that everything was perfect. He was extremely prompt in his responses via email, text, and call. Anything I needed, he was there to find the answer for me. He is AMAZING at what he does and we are so thankful! My ONE request was an espresso martini tower—and the second I said it, Matty didn’t hesitate. He just said, ‘Let’s do it!’ and made it happen. Jen was the MVP! We met Jen at our 90 day check in and immediately clicked and she offered to be our Wedding Coordinator from that point on - BEST DECISION EVER! She made everything go so smoothly, I didn't have to worry about a thing. Jen was also available at any time of the day to answer and questions or even offer suggestions! Half the time, I didn’t even know what I wanted—but Jen somehow took my scattered thoughts and turned them into something more beautiful than I could’ve imagined. I saw so many mixed opinions about hiring a wedding coordinator—so many people said we could just 'do it ourselves.' But looking back, I know without a doubt that our wedding was everything we dreamed of because of her! Mike, Jordan, and Madeline were the bartenders working the night of our wedding and they played one of the biggest roles of the night! All of our guests were raving about Mike's Brandy Old Fashions :) The three of them made sure all of the guests were taken care of in a timely manner and we are so appreciative of their service! For all the future brides out there - this is the BEST place to have the wedding of your dreams :)

    The Valerie Event Venue was the perfect choice for our wedding. From start to finish, the communication with Matty and his staff was quick, easy, and friendly. They treated us like family and went above and beyond to ensure our day was absolutely perfect. The venue itself was everything we imagined and more! The stunning decor and layout created the ideal atmosphere for our celebration. We are so grateful for the incredible service that was given to us by the Valerie.

    Cannot recommend enough

    The Valerie was the perfect place for our wedding! They had everything there in one spot. Bridal suite, groomsman suite, ceremony, reception, cocktail hour, patio, sunset photos. Even a hotel across the parking lot. Matty did a phenomenal job, brought us drinks and always asked how we were doing. Very responsive during the whole process. Cannot recommend this venue enough. I was worried about my theme being boho, and the venue being more modern but it turned out PERFECT! The venue is good for any theme, any couple.

Upon the signing of our contract, 50% of the venue rental fee is due along with a $500 security deposit. This goes on one check and must be made out to “The Valerie”. The second half of the venue rental fee is due 6 months prior to your event date. Your $500 security deposit is refunded back to you within one week after your event date.
“The Valerie” has a hotel right next door to it, as the Staybridge Suites Hotel is within 50 feet of our main entrance. Our preferred vendor list shares with you several other close accommodations. Most of which are in Oconomowoc or Delafield.
We can host 400 guests comfortably. This is without having to break down tables and move things around. If you choose, your guests get to keep their table for the entirety of the event.
All bar and liquor services must be provided by “The Valerie” Wisconsin State Law prohibits any carry- in alcohol onto the premises. Violations of this law subject “The Valerie” to having its liquor license suspended or revoked. Alcohol brought on site will be confiscated. We have two security personnel at every event to protect our venue from violators. No outside alcohol is allowed onto “The Valerie” property, including inside the venue as well as the parking lot and in vehicles.
