Where do I begin.....my daughter knew Stoltzfus Homestead and Gardens was the place she wanted to be married the second she stepped foot on the property. The grounds are immaculate and beautiful, full of color and texture, just stunning. The two restored barns for the ceremony and reception are breathtaking. The wedding just took place this past Saturday and I could not wait to share my review. If you are thinking about having your wedding here, DO IT!! Their team is so professional and knowledgeable and everything happens without a hitch, they have their system down! I want to mention in particular Dawn who was so helpful along the 2 year planning process. Brian who was just calm and amazing the day off for both property and bartending. Chela who was our day of coordinator, don't know what we would have done without her and her pleasant and calm demeanor and her ability to keep everyone straight and on the timeline. I have control issues, LOL, but, didn't even think twice once explaining my daughter's vision for her decor and then handing off our decor. I couldn't wait to see how they utilized it and decorated everything and boy, it did not disappoint. All of our guests commented about how stunning everything was. As I danced away on the dancefloor, I looked at the tables and not one single person was still at their table, they were dancing, playing lawn games, walking the beautiful property or relaxing around the fire. That is the sign of a GREAT reception. I will end with saying that the entire day from start to finish was stress free, perfect in every way and truly magical.

Picking Drumore Estate for our venue was the best decision! The venue itself is beautiful, and was the cheapest around. You have to use their cater but it’s worth it. All of our guest including us loved the food. When booking with Drumore, a wedding coordinator is included as well as all the linens and tableware. They have multiple options to have your ceremony and reception as well as a plan B incase of bad weather. Having Marnie (our coordinator) was great. She made planning and putting the wedding together a breeze! Even the day of the wedding when I tried to offer my help I was turned away to enjoy my day. Drumore Estate has a great reputation with a lot of outside vendors to make your wedding special. They provide a vendors list to show you who is familiar with the venue and having those vendors who have been to Drumore previously makes a huge difference in making your wedding flow smoothly. All the vendors that we picked off the list were precessional, down to earth and super nice. All I had to do was pick my vendors and bring a couple of my own decorations and they do everything else! Our wedding day was perfect and the best day of our lives!

The moment we drove up to Historic Ashland, we knew it was the venue for us! Not only is the property beautiful, but having the entire space to ourselves on the wedding day was a huge plus. One thing that was very important to us was having nice areas for both wedding parties to get ready. It was crucial that my husband had a space to enjoy on the wedding day, and the groom's cottage provided just that! For the bridal party, the main house is absolutely perfect. The rooms are stunning, the lighting is perfect, and the attention to detail doesn't go unnoticed, making me feel comfortable and at ease the entire morning. From the moment we met Leah, the owner, we could feel her passion and true love for her venue and for every couple that walked through the doors. She makes you feel comfortable and like a true friend from the second you meet her. The team she built at Historic Ashland is incredible, and I felt confident that everything would run smoothly. Leading up to the wedding day, I knew any question I had would be answered by Leah or our coordinator, Amanda. I also loved being in a private Facebook group for current and previous Historic Ashland couples. I learned so many tips and advice there, from which hotel to use to where to go for our rehearsal dinner and what vendors to pick. Our wedding day went so smoothly and was the best day, thanks to the amazing team and community that Leah created. We wish we could do it all over again!

  • Starts at $25,000

When you're looking for a place to host your fairy tale wedding or event, you want a venue with a certain amount of historic charm. It needs to have an authentic feel of days gone by and feature the conveniences of modern-day living. With its rich history and exquisite 18th-century buildings, you'll find an exclusive wedding venue for both ceremonies and receptions at Melhorn Manor. Melhorn Manor is a historic wedding venue in Lancaster County, PA, but was originally a 200+ acre farm that later became Florin's Village. Around the turn of the 1900s, the Melhorn family purchased the property and ran the dairy and horse farm. In 2017, Allory and Jessica Melhorn purchased and renovated the property, transforming it into a premier wedding venue. It's at this place your indoor or outdoor wedding will come to life. You won't find a better wedding venue in Lancaster with stunning areas for photo backdrops, authentic stone walls and wooden beams, and today's luxurious amenities!

Melhorn Manor is a FANTASTIC wedding venue! Jess and Allory really treat you like family. They are so kind, fun, organized, and timely! I did not have one single complaint or concern about anything with them. Their venue is gorgeous and they’re always making beautiful upgrades! The venue property is part of their home so they truly take care of the entire area. If I had to do it all again, I would definitely pick Melhorn Manor again! I can’t thank them enough for everything they did for us and our wedding day.

It's your special day! Let our farm be the perfect backdrop to your dreams so that your wedding day unfolds as the day you've always imagined. We've got all the details covered because we recognize the importance of your day and will work to make your dreams become reality. The warm and relaxed atmosphere of the Catering Barn, Corn Crib, or Turkey Pen and rest of our farm will make you and your guests feel right at home. We've renovated our venues to include the modern amenities you will need without sacrificing any of the rustic charm that you desire.

From the moment we toured the venue, we were sold. The beauty and versatility you can have with your day with so many different ceremony location options along with having A/C (huge must for summer weddings) made our choice simple. The staff is so helpful, even on the day of the owner was up on ladders with twine figuring out how to hang my signs!! Can’t recommend them enough!

Landis has 3 venues that vary in size but you’re also able to take pics throughout the property. It’s such a unique place and stands out. Our guests were intrigued by the venue and thought the atmosphere was so cool. Everyone who works there is amazing and they really help you through the process. Our wedding was very DIY but I never felt alone and could reach out with any questions even if it didn’t directly relate to space. The buildings vary in age but there’s so much history behind all the original buildings it’s truly incredible.

The Manor at Mountain View

5.0

Harrisburg, PA
  • Up to 325 guests
  • Limited services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $3,400

The Manor at Mountain View was the perfect find for the owners. The rustic feel with modern-day conveniences was a must. But, what was also a must was to have a venue that the word beautiful could not even describe it but, yet to keep it affordable so that so many people could come and enjoy this spectacular piece of property. The Tavern (Groom's Tavern) has its original barn beams as this was at one time a bank barn. The rustic charm matches the rod iron chandeliers in the room leading to the tavern. In 2007 the former owners built an addition to the facility that speaks volumes, equipped with windows throughout to show off the amazing view... It really is breathtaking. Today the owners have renovated all the rooms in the building but, kept the rustic charm. It brings the family great joy to see so many people happy when they visit the property and to be able to share so many events with the individuals that rent the property is a joy that is indescribable.

We just got married at The Manor and i can’t recommend Angie and her team enough. Everything went so smoothly and I credit her and her team for keeping the whole day on schedule. We received so many compliments from our guests about the evening and how kind everyone was. Do yourself a favor and book this venue!
