Welcome to Wilson’s Bittersweet Barn. Constructed in 1817, Wilson’s Bittersweet Barn was built prior to the civil war and was likely used as a staging area during the Battle of Gettysburg. This aged brick structure is a unique architectural masterpiece that has withstood the test of time. We specialize in Weddings, Birthdays, Anniversaries, and gatherings of various sizes. We believe in offering a quality venue at an affordable rate with additional items included to help customize your special event.     A dream come true!

    From our first meeting with Troy and his family at Wilson's Bittersweet Barn, we felt like we were part of their own celebration. They kept us informed every step of the way, making the planning process stress-free and transparent. Amanda deserves special recognition for her hard work on the day itself—she made everything feel effortless and handled every detail with such care. The whole team went above and beyond what we expected, treating us with genuine warmth and kindness throughout the entire experience. We loved how flexible and inclusive they were in bringing our vision to life, and we couldn't have asked for a better venue or group of people to work with.     Amazing venue and people

    They are amazing and helped us with everything! You definitely won’t regret this place!

Yes, but a certified bartender with all clearances must be hired.
Yes, Saturdays are our most popular wedding days and run between $6500-7000. On Sundays we have a discounted price of $3500-4000.
Yes, we require liability insurance.
Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We also have ramps at the main and side entrances.
Yes. If there is help needed for transportation to the ceremony site as well as reception area we can help make those accommodations upon request.
