They day of the wedding she is everything, acts as a second coordinator, keeping the time, making sure we have everything (flowers, the rings, literally everything) and in my delusion not having prepared any umbrellas, she had extra cute white ones. She even was the one to put my veil on when my bridesmaids disappeared into the venue. Her calm demeanor creates such a sense of security. We truly would’ve been lost without her. It’s pretty much just a bonus that her photos are insane.”

“If I could relive our wedding at Glen Magna Farms, I would 100x over. This venue was everything we wanted and more— it’s such a perfect gem and still somewhat affordable compared to other outdoor venues in New England, especially if you are looking for an outdoor tented option. It has it all— the tent, dancefloor, and tables are already included and so no need to bring in an outdoor rental company. They also only work with one catering company, one of the BEST, Vinwood Catering so that makes things really easy for you to plan and the food and drinks were incredible. I also used their day of coordinator which was great because she helped with timeline and was able to keep things moving. This is an outdoor venue only so keep that in mind there is no indoor backup option however they have a very well thought out and organized rain plan and the sides of the tent go down so regardless of weather you will be fine! We got lucky and had a perfect 75 degree sunny day in early October so the grounds and gardens were a dream. All of our guests said they have never seen a more beautiful venue — and trust me we have been to ALOT of weddings. They let you into the venue two hours before to get dressed and get ready and have photos inside the bridal and groom suite inside the mansion- which is also a dream. I really felt like I was living a fairy tale that day. There are no on site accommodations but do not fret- there are several hotel options very close by! If you are looking for a timeless, romantic, fairytale, garden wedding- LOOK NO FURTHER. BOOK IT!!”

“DJ Shyne is the difference between a good wedding and a once-in-a-lifetime, next-level, unforgettable experience. Hiring him was the single best decision we made for our wedding. He is outstanding—a true artist in his craft. It’s so clear that he’s not only dedicated to his profession but also deeply loves what he does. We gave DJ Shyne what we thought was an impossible challenge: blend pop hits, Spanish tunes, emo throwbacks, Disney jams, booty-shaking hip hop, and a long list of theme songs from our favorite TV shows and movies (everything from The White Lotus to Saw). On top of that, we added a handful of random, deeply personal songs you’d never expect at a wedding. What happened? Not only did he execute this perfectly, but he became the catalyst for a wedding that felt curated exactly to US—spinning a history of us both as individuals and our journey together woven into a seamless soundtrack. His mixing was unique, unexpected, and so much fun. As the bride, there was no place I wanted to be except on that dance floor. Our guests went wild. Compliments poured in all night and days after. We got so many texts like, “BROOO your DJ?! ” that we started to lose count. But it wasn’t just about the music. From the very first Zoom, DJ Shyne radiated charisma and professionalism. He carried that positive energy into every planning meeting and right through the reception—he even gave our speakers personal pep talks before their toasts! And when it came to group dances, he did something I’ve never seen: he stepped onto the dance floor, mic in hand, and taught the moves live. Towards the end of the Cha Cha Slide, he started teaching the crowd the moves to the Cupid Shuffle so by the time it started they were already doing it!!! It can seem like a simple pick, but if you don’t want to have a friend or family get ordained, and you’re not a member of a traditional religion, it can be a harder match to make. But then, we found Tara at Witchy Woman Weddings and reached out immediately. We’re so glad we did!! Inquiry was simple and responses were fast. We only spoke through email leading up to the day itself, but Tara does have the option to book meetings if you’d prefer some face-to-face contact in the lead up to your big day. She has such a peaceful and warm presence that, even if you’re meeting her for the first time at the altar for the ceremony as I did, you feel that calm and kind energy emanating towards you. The process for creating your ceremony script is both easy and personalized- Tara has an in-depth questionnaire to fill out that covers a wide range of topics so she can tailor the ceremony to your unique story and the vibe you’re aiming to create. It really covers all the bases but doesn’t feel daunting to complete. After that, she delivers a sample script and makes sure to note that edits can be made if there is anything you want changed- we didn’t make a single change to ours! We got emotional just reading through our draft and were amazed at how she captured us in the writing. To sum all this up, I am beyond grateful to have found Tara. She was the perfect person to join us together, mixing elements of both the traditional and the not-so-traditional on our Friday the 13th wedding. She reassured me in her abilities to give life to my curls with her tiny curl wand. I don’t think my curls have ever looked better in my ENTIRE LIFE; I cried when I saw myself in the mirror because of how beautiful I looked. My bridesmaids (who have a variety of hair types) had hair that was equally as stunning and were just as pleased as I was. When I saw the flowers, I was truly stunned -- they were better than the inspiration photos I had sent. We also had a relatively limited floral budget, and Erin did an amazing job accommodating with creative ideas like re-purposing our ceremony arch flowers into the head table centerpieces. I found their prices to be super reasonable and really appreciated the way they were flexible and willing to work with us. Finally, Erin was just such a fantastic person to work with. When there was a miscommunication from the venue about the centerpieces they were supposed to keep for us to take home the next day, Erin took the time to meet me the day after the wedding to hand-deliver a couple of centerpieces she had picked up. We've had several opportunities to work with him, and in each case, we've ended up with so many amazing shots that it's hard to pick a favorite. Our first shoot was our engagement shoot. Ben had several suggestions for making it unique and did a great job of helping us relax and feel comfortable. He was incredibly flexible with us on a colder day than anticipated. And he still captured the delight and intimacy that make our relationship what it is. Next, he shot our super secret wedding ceremony at Dearly Studios.
