One of my first memories of my mother was her picking me up from my babysitter’s on a snow day during her lunch break and taking me to go sledding at their nearest hill. What was she doing while I was traveling up and down that hill? Taking photos of the surrounding scenery. As I grew older and lost my mother, I started to value the moments that were captured on camera more and more.
