I believe every couple deserves to feel guided by a seasoned professional on their wedding day. I also believe your officiant should feel like a natural part of the day. Warm, familiar, and completely at home within the celebration of your story. My goal is to fit seamlessly into each wedding, sharing your love story with clarity, romance, and just the right amount of humor for the people who matter most. I have two other talented officiants on my team, Ren and Connor, increasing our wedding season availability!

We approach every ceremony with the belief that your love story deserves to be told with intention, heart, and a level of care that goes far beyond simply showing up to read words on a page. We build a natural connection with our couples right away, which allows us to write a ceremony that feels deeply personal rather than generic. Our experience on wedding days allows us to anticipate the natural rhythm of the day. We keep an eye out for pacing, timing, and any small gaps that might need a gentle hand so everything flows smoothly. We pride ourselves in being able to pen ceremonies that are meaningful, sincere, lighthearted and the right fit for every couple. There are no rules! Description

Have you been on the hunt for an officiant for your wedding and no one has quite fit the bill? Maybe you have a friend or family member in mind but they are nervous or intimidated by the process? We can help! We offer sit down consultations with couples AND their chosen officiant. We will help coach you through the process of becoming an ordained minister, developing and writing the ceremony, tips and tricks for public speaking as well as delivering a polished ceremony on the big day!

    10/10 Experience!!

    We had an absolutely incredible experience working with Chelsea as our officiant! She was personable, professional, and immediately understood what we were looking for. She truly nailed the ceremony in her first draft, perfectly capturing our story and who we are as a couple, and was so wonderful about making any edits we wanted. We were so thankful to have Chelsea lead our rehearsal as well. She answered all of our questions and helped ease any nerves before the big day. We received SO many compliments on the ceremony and her delivery! We were so happy to work with The Marrying Jane and would recommend Chelsea to anyone looking for an officiant!

    An amazing wedding

    Chelsea was absolutely wonderful, and we can’t recommend her enough. From the start, she was warm, professional, and genuinely invested in getting to know us and our story. The ceremony felt personal, meaningful, and so us. On our wedding day, Chelsea brought a calm and reassuring presence and delivered the ceremony beautifully.     The Marrying Jane Saved the Day!!!

    Chelsea absolutely CRUSHED IT!! So many people came up to us and told us how professional and poised she was and how they loved the ceremony. Chelsea is an excellent officiant and an even better person. I was in a panic 2.5 weeks before the wedding when two different plans for officiants fell through. The Marrying Jane was on the recommended vendors list at The Red Barn at Outlook Farm; and when I reached out to ask if they could help, Chelsea responded that night and turned everything around. Chelsea wrote a custom ceremony, helped us with all the paperwork, and truly saved the day! I am endlessly grateful and can only hope that other couples find her at the beginning of their wedding planning journeys!

I learn your story, your dynamic, your humor, your values, and all the little things that make your relationship feel like home. After our first meeting, I send you a detailed questionnaire that dives even deeper into who you are as individuals and as a couple. Your answers give me insight into your personalities, your history, the moments that shaped your relationship, and the vision you have for your wedding day. From there, I weave everything you share into a ceremony that feels elevated, intentional, and unmistakably yours.
We happily attend rehearsals as part of our services and highly recommend it! A rehearsal gives everyone a chance to walk through the flow of the ceremony so your entire wedding party feels comfortable, confident, and clear on their cues. It also gives us valuable time to meet your people, learn everyone’s personalities, and become a familiar face rather than just the person standing at the front on the wedding day.
Yes! I offer a complimentary consultation so you can get a feel for me, ask questions, and make sure the connection feels right. Your officiant sets the tone for the ceremony, so it is important that you feel completely comfortable.
As involved as you want to be! Some couples love to collaborate and others prefer to hand me the reins. You will always have full approval over your ceremony script and the freedom to make as many edits as you need.

After booking, you will receive a welcome guide and a detailed questionnaire that helps me learn your love story. From there, we will schedule planning calls and collaborate on the ceremony script until it feels perfect. I handle the structure, flow, and language so the two of you can simply enjoy the experience. As your wedding day approaches, I will help coach you through the legal process of applying for your marriage license in the State that you wedding is taking place.
