With more than 100 weddings celebrated across New England and New York, I welcome LGBTQ+ couples, interfaith and multicultural families, second marriages, elopements, and unconventional love stories. I bring careful preparation, a reassuring presence, and the experience to make everyone feel at ease—from our first conversation through your final vow. Into every love story, I bring a writer’s ear, an artist’s imagination, a minister’s steadiness, and instincts honed through more than 100 weddings. I’ve lived in seven countries across four continents and studied sociology and philosophy, giving me an uncommon understanding of people, traditions, and the many languages of love. I listen closely, write beautifully, read the room, calm nerves, and meet the unexpected without losing the magic. A deeply personal ceremony celebrating your unique love story. Together, we’ll create a heartfelt experience reflecting your personalities , values, dreams, and promises. Some couples ask me to ONLY sign their marriage certificate— and I will happily oblige. If you have already had a celebration or are not interested in having a “big production,” I am happy to sign the required paperwork to legalize the marriage. Pricing starts at $150 (for up to 30 miles of travel).

    Love Rev. Cole!

From intimate backyard ceremonies to coastal celebrations and destination-worthy venues, I’m happy to travel wherever your love story takes us. Travel availability and any related fees will always be discussed clearly before booking.
Absolutely. Whether you need encouragement, structure, or help shaping your feelings into words, I’ll guide you with care. Together, we’ll create vows that capture what you love, value, and want to build together—natural, heartfelt, and true to your voice.
Most ceremonies run about 10 to 20 minutes, with plenty of flexibility to make the experience feel personal and meaningful. The exact timing depends on your vows, readings, traditions, and the overall tone you want to create. For example, a simple ceremony with brief personal vows may take about 10 minutes, while adding a reading, longer vows, and a unity ceremony or other tradition may bring it closer to 20 minutes. We’ll keep things moving, heartfelt, and focused, creating a ceremony that feels complete, intentional, and true to your relationship.
Yes. In-person rehearsal attendance is available for weddings within approximately 60 miles of Ledyard, Connecticut, for an additional $100–$200 based on travel distance. For weddings farther away, I provide a virtual ceremony-planning session by Zoom or FaceTime. We’ll review the processional, where everyone will stand, ceremony cues, readings, vows, rings, special traditions, and the recessional.

I’ve officiated more than 100 weddings and have been a full-time wedding officiant since 2020. My experience includes intimate elopements, backyard gatherings, coastal ceremonies, formal venue celebrations, LGBTQ+ weddings, interfaith and multicultural ceremonies, second marriages, vow renewals, and wonderfully unconventional celebrations. Some couples want a short and simple ceremony, while others include personal vows, readings, music, family members, or meaningful traditions. Many come to me for help creating their ceremony from the ground up, and I’m happy to guide them through the process.
