“We worked with Kevin Maldonado for our 11.17 ceremony and reception at the Granite Rose in Hampstead NH. Main Event was the recommended DJ service from our venue, and the matching process to put us with the rigth DJ was so easy. Once we met with Kevin, we had high hopes for our big day, and I am not exaggerating when I say that Kevin blew our hopes out of the water. Kevin helped with audio for our ceremony, before doing music and speeches at our cocktail hour and reception. We requested a high energy dancefloor, with classics from all decades to get everyone on their feet, and wanted to have an insane dance party with our friends and family. He killed it. The energy on the dancefloor was impeccable, and Kevin delivered our vision PERFECTLY. He was so professional, but fun, and everything went very smoothly, no hiccups, no complaints. I would absolutlely, 100% recommend Kevin, and Main Event Entertainment, for anyone looking for a DJ for a wedding or event. You will not be disappointed.”

“You should ABSOLUTELY choose DJ Kelsey for your wedding — or any event, really. When my wife and I started searching for vendors, we approached every decision with a lot of thought and research. On the Get Down Tonight website, I watched all the DJs’ introduction videos. At first, I realized I had inadvertently skipped the female DJs, immediately corrected myself, and watched their videos. Both women were fantastic, but Kelsey instantly stood out. While many DJs covered the usual talking points, Kelsey was the only one who emphasized being detail-oriented — mastering the pronunciation of every name, paying attention to pacing, and understanding the many moving parts of a wedding. She’s all about creating an incredible dance floor vibe, but she also clearly understands the responsibility of running the flow of an entire event. The DJ truly sets the tone, and Kelsey takes that seriously. Our friends and family love to be silly and have fun on the dance floor, and Kelsey understood that energy immediately. She chose songs perfectly, and throughout the night people kept complimenting our DJ while we were still dancing. My response every time was, “I know — she just gets it!” Kelsey asked us to create playlists of must-plays and do-not-plays, but by our final planning call we fully trusted her judgment. If she felt a song would hit perfectly in the moment, we wanted her to go for it — and she did. The entire night was banger after banger, and the dance floor stayed packed. One moment that absolutely blew us away happened after my two brothers gave their speech. They told a childhood story involving a niche, repetitive song I used to sing, and even sang it as part of the speech. After speeches ended and dinner music resumed — surprise! — Kelsey had somehow found that exact song and played it at the perfect moment. Everyone cracked up, and we got so many compliments on her quick thinking. I had even suspected she might do it as my brothers were singing, and she didn’t disappoint. At the end of the night, Kelsey shared the sweetest comments with us about our wedding, saying how wonderful our guests were and how warmly everyone treated the vendors. The next day she sent us a short clip of our first dance, along with kind words that meant a lot — especially since I had choreographed it myself. In another guest’s video, you can even see her cheering for us along with our friends and family. Kelsey told us she felt like a guest at our wedding, and I honestly consider that one of the highest compliments she could have given us — because that’s exactly how present, genuine, and connected she was throughout the night. “My wife and I were worried about finding a space and a team to really help us bring our vision to light. We are a non-traditional couple with a very non-traditional theme, and the second we walked through the doors of Grace Ventures and met Stacey, we knew we found our venue. After sifting through a daunting list of potential venues, Grace and the team working there easily stood out. Over the next year, we kept in contact with Stacey and team to ensure our timeline was good, neither of us ever really having thought about or planned for a wedding had us feeling a bit over our heads at first. Stacey and team made the entire planning and executing process so incredibly easy that we were sometimes worried we were missing a step, only to be encouraged and reminded that we were on-schedule and ready to go. Stacey even steered us in the direction of incredible support staff, like Kyle at Moe's Subs and DJ Dennis after we hit a few snags with music and food on our end. We finally reached our day, and it couldn't have been more perfect. From the support setting up, to final adjustments and clarifications, to the bar and dinner service, it all went off without a hitch, and we couldn't possibly be more grateful. During planning, they were also extremely helpful in working within our budget, helping us get the best possible value while never taking anything away from the guest experience. When I arrived on my wedding day and saw the room, I was completely blown away. The setup was absolutely perfect — even better than I could have imagined. As a bride, I felt completely stress-free, knowing every single detail was being handled. A very special shoutout to Jillian, who stayed with us through all of the formalities and made sure the entire day ran smoothly. Her calm, reassuring presence allowed us to truly enjoy every moment without worrying about timelines or logistics. Victoria, the General Manager, is truly exceptional — fun, warm, professional, and incredibly organized. She made the entire experience feel joyful and seamless. Our Banquet Captain, Lucas, ensured everything ran flawlessly. Grace, Michael, Kiara, and Elijan provided amazing service throughout the night. The food was absolutely delicious thanks to Chef Jim and Sous Chef Corey, and Abby was a fantastic bartender who kept the energy high all evening. We also want to highlight our amazing vendors. Laurie from Susanne’s Weddings was so fun to work with and truly saw our vision, bringing it to life beautifully through the florals. Our cake from Jacques Pastries was both stunning and delicious — we especially loved the red velvet top tier. DJ Dan from Main Event kept the dance floor packed all night and played all of our favorite songs. Our hot pink, winter disco ball wedding vision came to life in the most beautiful way. We are forever grateful to The Granite Rose and this incredible team for giving us a day we will cherish forever.”

We have never taken professional photos before, but it didn’t matter, Chris was great at directing us. These images are easily now the best photos of us! During the editing process we felt heard. He allowed us to voice our opinion and he gave multiple edits to help us find our style. Highly recommend! The light shining between us and around us is so beautiful. I love this ring shot, it looks like something in a magazine. The lighthouse in the background is an added touch to showcase the location, without taking over the whole picture.”
