“My husband and I knew we wanted to get married but did not want to plan the actual wedding…and we are so lucky that we found the company Wedgewood. With so many venues to choose from, we got married at The Sanctuary in Long Beach and when I say our wedding was stunning, I mean it. We will cherish the day forever. Wedgewood made the entire process so incredibly easy, it almost felt too good to be true. But it was true! All we had to do was make the final decisions and our team took care of the rest of it. We showed up, got married, had an amazing party with amazing food and drinks and had the time of our lives. Not only did we love our wedding, our guests loved it as well. We got so many compliments on how beautiful our decor was and how smoothly everything went. As a bride, I was so nervous about our timeline going the way it was supposed to, but our wedding coordinator, Fumi made sure everything was on track. Fumi made our day so much better and my bridal party loved her. She made me believe that the most important thing was that I married my husband. I highly recommend Wedgewood Weddings. There are no loopholes, their pricing is reasonable and you are able to express yourself freely with them and plan your perfect wedding day. Everyone on their team was no kind to us and make our day so much easier and made us feel so so special. I am so grateful for Wedgewood. Book with them!!”

“Where do I begin?!! The Portofino Hotel & Marina was INCREDIBLE!!!!!! From day one all the way to today, a few days after the wedding, all the staff we encountered has been excellent!! Specifically I want to give a shout out to Sierra, Rain, Luis, Paco, & Mac. Sierra was my main hotel wedding coordinator and contact. She was so responsive, attentive, organized, sweet, available, and amazing!! I couldn’t be happier with her and her services. The entire experience was seamless. We planned an entire wedding in under 2 months together as I was eager to marry my man this year. She was so helpful and explained any and all things when I had questions. Starting with booking the venue all the way to the day after the wedding. Everything was so organized, including the deadlines of decisions I needed to make, and payment info, and what to do if it rained. She had everything covered. THANK YOU THANK YOU SIERRA!! Rain was also another venue coordinator & catering sales manager who helped us too and he was amazing as well. He stepped in when/if Sierra was out of the office and he attended our tasting and answered so many questions as well. He was so nice, sweet and great to work with. Very organized and never missed a beat! Thank you Rain!! Luis, the director of Banquets, handled anything food and drink related and everything was perfect. He even placed two of each hors d’oeuvres at our sweetheart table (knowing we probably wouldn’t get a chance to eat them during cocktail hour as we were busy mingling) and he was right!! It was such a sweet, simple gesture that made a big impression on us. Paco was one of the Bartenders from the day of (I never got a chance to meet our other bartender) and he was so fun and cheerful and positive and an overall great spirit. Guests kept telling me how much they loved Paco and me too! Mac worked on the hotel side and we met him when we checked in and he handled ALL our luggage and he also golf carted me around on the actual wedding day so I didn’t have to walk too much. He was super sweet and was so helpful and had a great vibe! Also, my initial point of contact was Melanie who responded to my initial venue request. She was so great and helpful and responsive that right away we were sold and we booked the venue the next day without ever even seeing it in person. On top of all the AMAZING staff, the venue is just absolutely beautiful!! You can’t find a prettier ocean front venue in the So Cal. Just gorgeous. We chose a type of all-inclusive wedding package that included a sit down 3-course dinner, open bar, ceremony, hotel room, wedding cake, and many more perks such as white linen, candles on each table, arch on the ceremony grass, champagne toast, etc. It was perfect, efficient, organized and made my life so easy. I really didn’t have to do much except invite guests and show up!! many of my guests told me afterward they were so impressed with the staff, venue and the food!!! Seriously, the food was excellent. I know all of this sounds too good to be true but honestly it was. I had zero problems, no horror stories, nothing. It truly was a PERFECT day and overall experience. I also found out afterward that a coworker of mine got married here too this past summer and she said the same thing. Her day was perfect as well and I am not surprised at all. Thank you to everyone at the Portofino! We cant wait to come back just to enjoy the restaurant, the views and the excellent service :)”

“I loved working with Robin at the Sonesta Hotel. She was an excellent event manager who cared for all our needs and was very accommodating. I had one problem that had nothing to do with Robin or the Sonesta: Someone on the wedding coordinator's staff stole my wallet during the event. We hired Koral, the wedding coordinator, which was our responsibility. Overall, it was a beautiful venue with excellent hotel staff. I would recommend the Sonesta 100%.”

“BEAUTIFUL venue that is hidden away - the experience starts from the drive TO the church as you turn into a breathtaking wide ocean view. The church is so beautiful we only needed two pillars and 2 arrangements for decorations. The only downside to decorations is there is a lot of limitations (they dont allow anything on the aisle, not even a white aisle runner) BUT the church is so gorgeous on it's own. Setta the wedding coordinator is very professional and kind and really helps day of to coordinate the timing of everything. She has a very calm demeanor which is helpful during a hectic day. Pastor Scott officiated and he was very kind and accomodating. The majority of our guests were born and raised in southern california and remarked how they never heard or been to this church and they were amazed at how beautiful it was. Many commented how they felt they were in europe! It also was just the PERFECT summer day in mid-June- warm but a slight breeze with perfect blue skies. We had parasols for the girls and they came in handy to provide some shade while taking pictures! The reception offering is a little expensive and they only provide the space - no tables/charis and only beer/wine allowed and there is a curfew - either 9 or 10pm. This would have been a perfect place to do a reception as well but with all the resctrictions and planning required to do it there we opted out of it but I really wish we could have! Their package includes day of coordinator, you must use their officiant, an amazing organist, a bridal and groomsmen suite, a meeting with the officiant, and a rehearsal run through.”

“We got married at La Venta Inn in September 2024 and it was truly everything we could have asked for. The centerpiece here, and a large part of why we chose this venue, is the spectacular view overlooking the ocean which made for such beautiful pictures. Besides the natural beauty of the area, the building itself is a historic villa which felt cozy and intimate and yet comfortably accommodated our guest count of 100. Savannah was our contact person and was very responsive to emails, including some last minute seating changes we had in the weeks leading up to the wedding La Venta works exclusively with Made by Meg for catering - Kat was our contact person and was fantastic to work with. Note that they do not allow outside food vendors, but they were able to accommodate some of our special requests such as requests to source a specific brand of ice cream so that we could make our wedding unique to us. We got so many compliments from our guests on how delicious the food was. The other exclusive vendor that they are contracted with is Vox DJs. This is the only vendor that we had a less than stellar experience with. They performed their duties fine on the day of the wedding, with the exception of forgetting to set up the dance lights we had paid for, but the communication and planning leading up the wedding did not go as smoothly as I hoped, and I wish that we had the flexibility to go with a DJ company of our own choosing. However I understand the restrictions given that La Venta is a historic site. Overall, our wedding at La Venta was memorable, beautiful, and we would recommend them to anyone looking for a gorgeous venue with spectacular ceremony views. With a venue like this, you really only need a good florist (we used Flowernoon Shop) and a talented photographer (June Choi Photography) to bring out the natural beauty of the venue - you really don't need a lot of other rentals, draping, etc. We are so happy we had our wedding here!”

I decided on the venue for a variety of reasons. It's a nice space, close to LAX for out of town guests, with ample parking on the westside of Los Angeles. The banquet room has an adjoining patio that makes the space inviting. The hotel has recently undergone some renovation that makes it a more posh experience. “My family selected Jamaica Bay Inn because it was next to a small beach cove accessible from the Bermuda banquet room. We gathered for a Celebration of Life event and wanted to fly kites in memory of our beloved that passed away. Sayyora the Catering Manager was extremely efficient and flexible with the menu and my special request. Christina and the banquest staff were amazing. Christina had to leave the room to answer another clients questions and made sure another banquet person was in the room until she returned. The food was hot and plentiful. We selected the Buffet Pasta Station (1 with chicken and 1 with shrimp), baby greens salad, delicious fresh fruit. Accomodations were made for my request for a gluten free menu. I was in the hospitality business for 19 years for major hotels as a Catering Manger and Covention Services Manager and my critical eye can be hard to please. But I must say that the attention to detail was above and beyond. I would recommend Jamacia Bay at every opportunity. My family wants to return for a family reunion or just a family luncheon. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.”

“Gran Sueño is a fantastic venue that we worked with for the first time a year ago, which was also the first wedding we catered to. All the staff members went above and beyond to ensure that the event was tailored to perfection. We are delighted to continue working with them in the future, as we have already done many events at their place, and every time, we felt just at home. The tight work environment is fantastic, and we express our most profound happiness in working with them. Overall, we highly recommend Gran Suena for any event. It is tough to find places that look to give the best experience to our guests and can work as a team even though we are different companies. Since we've been doing a lot of events there now we are thinking of opening up a branch in that area so we can continue giving the best service to our guests.”

“We recently hosted a private event with a Bodega Wine Bar, and it could not have gone more perfectly! From start to finish, the experience was seamless and memorable. Atmosphere: The space was warm, stylish, and welcoming—exactly the kind of vibe we wanted. Having the entire bar to ourselves made it feel intimate yet lively, like our own hidden gem in the city. Service: The staff went above and beyond for us. Every guest felt cared for, and the service was friendly without ever being overbearing. They truly made us feel like family. Food & Drinks: The wine selection was incredible (so many options to please every palate), and the soju cocktails were just as impressive. The food was flavorful, and kept everyone happy well into the night. Event Experience: What stood out most was how easy the planning process was. The team at Bodega handled the details so smoothly—arranging the space, customizing the menu, and keeping everything on schedule. On the night of the event, we didn’t have to stress about a single thing. Overall, if you’re looking for a venue for a private party, corporate gathering, or any special celebration, a full buyout at Bodega Wine Bar is absolutely worth it. It’s the perfect mix of cozy, fun, and elevated.”

“First - the food is delicious and the setting perfect for a wonderful meal. We used them for a rehearsal dinner of 40 and were absolutely impressed by Tiato! We spent quite a lot of time looking for a location for my daughters rehearsal dinner. Many friends suggested Tiato as a perfect location as it has a lot of beautiful spaces including a great outdoor space and wonderful food. The proposal we received from Tiato was so professional, thorough and thoughtful. I was very impressed in my dealings with Stephen Cisneros and knew it would be a fabulous event. We had the most wonderful tasting before selecting our final menu and everything was so good, it was difficult to choose. Stephen and his team went out of their way to make sure our evening was special including providing microphones for speeches, a lovely set-up and, most importantly, amazing food. The passed appetizers were delicious and beautifully presented. Stephen had great suggestions for timing of the event. Easy parking was included and the prices were fair. I appreciated that adding a specialty cocktail (we picked a wonderful berry margarita which featured fresh pressed blueberry, lemon and lime juices) was only 7.50 per person in addition to a reasonable bar package. I highly recommend Tiato for a lunch, dinner or event! Love the food!”

Velaslavasay Panorama

Los Angeles, CA
  • Up to 75 guests

The Velaslavasay Panorama is housed in the Union Theatre, a historic neighborhood cinema built in 1910 with a neon marquee, enchanting garden, vintage theatre space and 360-degree painted panorama viewing hall. Set in the historic West Adams District near Downtown LA, a visit to our panorama is complimented by a stroll through the Garden and Grounds reminiscent of the great 19th century pleasure gardens, featuring lush tropical plantings, a wide variety of succulents, a misting and meditation grotto, and a copper-roofed gazebo for reading and reflection. We are using Zola to promote our site as a rental venue for weddings and private events. To learn more, visit rental[dot]panoramaonview[dot]org and to ask questions or schedule a tour, contact event[at]panoramaonview[dot]org.

“If what you are seeking is a truly magical venue, look no further than the Velaslavasay Panorama. My wife and I did not want to have the typical hotel conference hall wedding. We wanted to show our family from outside of LA a place that was meaningful to us and at the same time still impress our friends from LA. The Panorama is genuinely extraordinary, with several different areas that can be arranged to suit your celebration. Our guest list was about 70 people and it was the perfect size. We opted to have our main ceremony in the historic theatre, our cocktail reception with our bartender in the lush garden, our musician play in the gazebo, and our dinner in the large area outside the moon gate. This made it easy for pick ups and drop offs with our catering and table / chair / bar rental. Sara and Ruby from the Panorama were absolutely lovely to deal with and helped considerably with logistics before, during, and after the event. Our photographer loved all of the different backdrops possible and everyone kept mentioning how wonderful the venue was. Check it out, I'm sure you will be absolutely stunned by the Panorama.”

“Never in a million years did I think I’d be able to get married at a venue like this. The Ebell is the sort of thing you only see in movies (and that’s because it’s in all the movies!). You can see for yourself how breathtaking this space is, but what you can’t see from a website or an Instagram page is how equally incredible its staff are. Working with the Ebell was an absolute joy, every single person we interacted with was professional, kind, funny, and most importantly, cared so deeply about our special day. I’d be remiss not to mention our coordinator, Katie, who I could not extend enough gratitude to if I tried. If location and people weren’t enough, our food and drinks were actually insane. Two months after our wedding, we are still getting compliments on the food. Finally, the banquet staff, the real stars of the day itself, were remarkable. Such professionalism and poise that you could only expect from a place that looks like the Ebell. Truly an absolutely incredible experience, a dream come true.”

“Working with the Bel Air Bay Club to plan my wedding was so amazing and simple! I got married on Saturday June 6, 2026. They provide workbooks and packets of things you must decide on to make your day how you want. I was lucky enough to have had a planner help me plan my perfect day, but the BABC did an amazing job communicating with me as well to make sure we were all on the same page. The staff was so attentive and friendly throughout the whole process. From working with Liz, Jenny, and Alissa leading up to the big day to the staff the day of the wedding, the service and etiquette was more than I could’ve ever imagined. My husband and I were well taken care of all day and everyone always made sure they were there is we needed anything. Marielena, the bridal assistant from BABC, was the sweetest most angelic person I have ever met! She was such an amazing help to my husband and I on the day, and I couldn’t imagine my day without her help. She really is a fairy godmother and if you’re lucky enough to be able to have her assist you on your day, it is such a treat. The food was amazing from start to finish, our guests continue to rave about it until this day! They have so many great options to select from to personalize your day to fit you and your partner’s preferences. The quality is definitely up to par for the price you pay. The BABC does have a lot of regulations and protocols to be mindful of for the day of your event since they are a very busy venue, if you have any questions about restrictions or regulations their team does a great job of answering all of your questions or concerns. My wedding day was such a dream and I wish I could relive it everyday thanks to everyone at the BABC and our amazing vendors. ️️”

“The Luxe Sunset is a beautiful oasis right off Sunset Blvd, with easy access from the 405. It's amazing how quickly you're transformed from the hustle and bustle of the city to serene luxury, as soon as you arrive in the tree-lined grounds of the hotel. More importantly, I want to rave about the staff, and Joshua Washington in particular, who's in charge of room blocks and Kelsey Hernandez in charge of venue spaces. Joshua was such a professional, respectful, and generous hospitality professional. All hospitality and service pros should take note. He was attentive and communicative, without being overly so. And he was just a joy to work with. In full candor, my fiancee and I were looking very seriously at The Luxe for our wedding room block, as well as venues for rehearsal dinner, welcome event and farewell brunch. The Sunset Terrace (breezeway) is a dream of an outdoor venue area. However, due to a number of factors unrelated to how extraordinary the Luxe and its staff are, we ended up going with a different venue. Still, my fiancee and I really love the Luxe, it was really hard to not be able to select it as our home base for our wedding weekend. We wish we could have worked with Joshua and his team for longer, and made use of the incredible settings that the hotel offers. For what it's worth, they're remodeling all the guest rooms. I didn't find any issue with the already-updated guest rooms, but it's good to know they'll be even newer and even more amazing. No disruption to their capacity in the meantime. And at the risk of them seeing this and increasing their prices, I want to say the prices for rooms, venues and Food&Bev were shockingly reasonable. My fiancee and I did deep dives into 5 different venues in west LA, and Luxe had the best prices. If you're looking for an intimate, upscale location that's not far away but still feels removed from reality, definitely reach out to Joshua and the team at Luxe. You will not be disappointed.”
