“Where do we even start! From the very first email, Colin was such a calming and supportive presence throughout the whole wedding planning process. Anytime I had a question or worry (which I had a few), he was right there with reassurance and quick answers - even when I’d email him late at night, he somehow would respond within minutes! That kind of responsiveness and care meant so much to us, especially in the week leading up to the wedding with things get hectic. He went above and beyond for our rehearsal, helping us run through every detail and setting up mics and speakers so efficiently that everything flowed seamlessly. It gave us such a peace of mind knowing he had everything under control. On the wedding day, Colin handled two complete sound setups - his wireless one for our outdoor ceremony and his main for the reception - and both were absolutely flawless! The sound quality was perfect the entire day; guests could hear every word of our ceremony and every speech crystal clear. There wasn’t a single hiccup. Then came one of the biggest surprises of the night - cold sparks! Colin and my husband had planned them without me knowing, and it was truly one of my favorite parts of the evening. It made our first dance feel straight out of a movie and the photos from that moment are unreal. If anyone is on the fence about adding cold sparks - DO IT! You won’t regret it. The Photo Booth was a huge hit with our guests! Colin recently upgraded with a printer which people were obsessed with being able to take home their photos (a little built in favor). It kept guests entertained all night long and added such a fun, interactive element to our reception. What really stood out though, was how Colin and his wife (who was his wonderful assistant that day) made everything so personal. They were professional yet warm, blending right into the crowd and truly feeling like family celebrating alongside us. Colin kept the energy flowing, a smooth timeline, and the dance floor full all night long. Looking back, we can’t imagine our day without Sound Love. Colin helped make everything easy, stress-free, and so much fun. We are endlessly grateful we chose him and will always recommended Sound Love to EVERY couple looking for a DJ who genuinely cares, listens, and delivers beyond expectations. Teddy arrived on time and kept everyone on our toes throughout the night. The only thing I will say, is if you’re doing bridal party introductions it’s best to rehearse it if possible. Or give an exact time of the song for your dj to play when each couple comes out.”

“My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. To start with our photographer Sean, he is such an amazing individual and was such a light hearted and fun energy to have. He got along with everybody and was so patient with our youngest and oldest family members. The photos we received were amazing and captured so many great moments without feeling posed. Our videographer Jason captured such great moments for us and cracked so many jokes throughout the day. Our video is absolutely amazing and was pretty close to what I had imagined before receiving it. When your videographer willingly whips out a kart wheel to show off to a group of dancers, you know he’s passionate about his job. Lastly our DJ John was the perfect DJ for our party! He was so attentive and absolutely hilarious. An amazing MC and worked with me to create several surprises throughout the night. As a dancer and perfectionist, I could not have asked for someone to have read the room any better! I never had to ask for songs to be skipped and my guests felt so comfortable to approach him with requests. I don’t know if we could ever put into words how well they worked together. Everyone that we dealt with through this company made our experience so easy to manage.”

We had some small hiccups with speeches/ the microphones but I think that was more of us not knowing how close to hold the mic while we speak. There were a few changes throughout the day on my part and KJ was amazing at adapting and pivoting to what I was wanting. As far as announcing goes, he did a fantastic job with names and bringing the energy. As the night went on, he truly read our crowd and figured out what songs our group enjoyed and he did an amazing job at that. We got raving reviews from all of our guests about how great the DJ was. In addition to being a wonderful experience, they were also a great value for the price. These are top quality musicians and we paid a reasonable price for the band.
