Meet Madison + McKenzie, best friends turned business partners and the heart behind Lavenderie Photos! Our story began back in 2017. What started as snapping photos of friends and family quickly grew into a full blown passion. Fast forward a year, and the two decided to turn their love for photography into something even bigger. Lavenderie Photos was born, and we’ve never looked back! Since then, we’ve had the absolute joy of photographing over 65 amazing individuals and couples. I bought my first DSLR camera in 2004 when my now wife, Tracey, and I were taking a cruise to Alaska. For a monumental trip like this, I HAD to get an amazing camera. Those 8.2 megapixels with nine four points had me in LOVE. Ever since then, the ability of a photograph to be able to freeze time; freeze an emotion; freeze a memory has kept me addicted. I fell in love with photography about 15 years ago when I started travelling the world. I was always coming back home and showing my family and friends pictures that I'd taken while away from home.
