“I've been to my fair share of weddings the last few years and I can definitively say that Yazz Events is one of the best live wedding bands I have ever seen. My calves were more sore the day after the wedding than when I ran the Chicago Marathon a few weeks prior. That's how hard I was dancing all night. We had a bilingual wedding (Spanish/English) and the MC, Hector, was able to speak and instruct guests in both languages. SO AWESOME! They also played the perfect blend of songs in both languages. Many of our Spanish speaking guests had not seen a live band like this before and they loved it. Amy, the owner, was amazing with planning and giving suggestions for the setlist. We also hired the jazz duo for our rehearsal dinner. They added such a calming presence to that night. 10/10 all around. Thank you Yazz Events!”

“We booked DJ Clife because it was important to us have an energetic emcee and DJ who would work with our non-traditional wedding day flow and could mix/transition music (not just queue a playlist). He understood our goals and helped advise in planning/details, answering all the questions I had. We had a little scare with our initial assigned day of DJ getting double booked but we were SO happy with DJ Kanoya and his assistant!! They were super personable, and we & all of our guests (we brought LOTS of east coasters with us to Iowa!) had an amazing night on the dance floor!”

“What is a Hybrid DJ? I asked the very same question. And boy were we glad we found out!! Imagine taking a fabulous DJ and adding a few instrumental pieces to enhance the party even more. That's what we did, and the dance floor was full the entire evening. Our super-awesome DJ, owner Al Okyne, along with his team of a drummer & saxophonist, helped make our son's wedding reception one everyone is still talking about. The saxophonist even played amongst the dancing guests, and everyone loved it. So do I recommend Okyne Entertainment Group...Absolutely!”
