Planning a wedding during Covid had many challenges, including not being able to see the band live, but thankfully, David has so many live videos available where we can see the entertainment his band delivers day in and day out. Those videos, along with David’s passion for his work, made us confident to chose his team to make our day special. For our wedding, we had a classical duo during the ceremony, a pianist during cocktail hour, a jazz trio during dinner, and an incomparable 10 piece orchestra to dance the night away. From the first note to the final encore, we were BLOWN AWAY with the talent and energy that the band brought. We had a few special requests for the night - from a unique arrangement for our ceremony processional to a mashup of New York songs during the reception - and David’s team was beyond accommodating. “Our guests still to this day rave about our music and DJ! We were extremely happy with Okyne Medialab, which was a referral from our wedding planner. (I always knew that I wanted a DJ compared to a band just because of personal preference of the type of music we like.) Al hosted multiple calls us, was a phone call away with any questions, and then even attended our final walk through to determine speaker locations and overall plan. Leading up to our wedding at the Chicago History Museum, we felt confident that Okyne would execute our vision and they most certainly did. DJ Alan came dressed to impressed to our black tie wedding and was professional, yet such a fun DJ! All of our must haves were played ( any songs from our do not play list were not played haha) and played right on time. (Timing is everything!!) I highly recommend Okyne Media Lab!!”
