I grew up in Eastern Europe — technically Moldova. I have always had a natural eye for photography. In my youth, I often looked out at the landscape and thought of ways to capture its uniqueness and beauty. Eight years ago, I began taking wedding photos as an assistant, and studied under my mentor, a well-known photographer and cinematographer. I learned to take my natural eye and transform that into a journalistic style of photography. Over the last five years, my focus has been on being the best Boston wedding photography. I have documented over 100 weddings and have photographed weddings at churches, parks, and people’s backyard.

I am a New England girl through and through - born and raised in Framingham, MA, I now reside with my husband, daughter, cat and dog in Ayer, MA. During a New England Summer, you can catch me at Fenway on a Sunday afternoon or having the best lobster roll (change my mind) at Sesuit Harbor Cafe on Cape Cod. When I’m not taking or editing photos, I am most definitely in the kitchen whipping up a meal from one of Ina Garten’s cookbooks. Love that woman. Or playing with my daughter, Tessa and our pup, Lucy in our backyard. I’m so excited to meet you and to create lasting images that will hang in your home for years to come!

I started my photography business because I love taking pictures of people. Wedding days come with so many beautiful and emotional moments. I am here to be part of your wedding crew. I decided to become a wedding photographer simply because I love telling stories with my camera and capturing the loving moments, the smiles, the laughter of a couple’s special day. It is a privilege to witness a wedding day unfold before me… from the anticipation of the bride or groom getting ready, to the moment when the couple first sees each other, to the final good-byes. Every week, I am lucky enough to witness a new celebration, a new beginning; and through my photography, I am able to make a real difference in the lives of the people that I meet. What could be more exciting!

I’ve been making pictures since I was 12. My parents gave me an ancient 35mm Konica Autoreflex camera, told me to get after it, and the rest, as they say, is history. My role as a photographer is to capture the rare, vulnerable, epic, extraordinary, and wonderfully ordinary moments of life, as well as the beautiful details in between. I strive to make images that come from the heart and will tell your story for years to come. Also, I might cry at your wedding. It happens.

Hi beauties! I’m Nicole, and capturing your nostalgia is what I’m all about. Art was always my favorite subject. From creating out of the art cart in elementary school to graduating with my master’s in art education, it’s my life. I’ve experimented with several mediums over the years: ceramics and abstract painting being the most prominent. But photography kept calling to me. I love meeting people and learning their stories. I believe that capturing memories is important, and photography is the best way to do that. My approach to photography is through candid genuine moments, to let you be yourself.

Kam Wickam is a photographer based in New York City photographing on both digital and film. Drawing from a blend of expertise in fine art and psychology, Wickam infuses her passion for photography with an editorial approach to portraiture. Her captivating images command attention, exuding a dynamic reminiscent of high-fashion magazine spreads while also capturing intricacies through the connections she forms with her subjects.

Nostalgia drove me into photography at an early age - and lead me into my studies of photojournalism. We know when we're at a critical juncture in our lives. You may even outwardly acknowledge it. For me, being able to authentically capture, to preserve those moments in a photograph is such a privilege. I know how much it means to me to be able to look back and say 'this is how things actually happened.' There is beauty in those truths. The kind of folks I work with share that appreciation.

I love what I do. I found my way to professional photography in a roundabout way, having started my working career as a marine scientist and environmental educator in CA and then on Maui. After years immersed in the ocean and hundreds of hours spent underwater, I realized that I was happiest on days when I could adventure freely with a camera in hand. The drive to learn more and become a better photographer lead me back to school on the east coast, where I ended up finding a new dream career and a home and community that I love.
