“This lady is a god damned delight. Early in the planning process, my mother died and it totally sapped me of any appetite for planning. I felt overwhelmed, but when we hired Sarah she helped us turn it all around. She held our hands through the hard part and then helped us stay on task and organized when our energy and excitement came back. She helped us navigate being out of the country for 3 of the six months prior to the wedding. She already had experience and relationships with most of our vendors, which helped those contracts go more smoothly and meant less management from us was required. She was 100% ready to get behind any project we could come up with — she supported our vision like it was her own. Whenever I asked her to find someone who could bring an idea to life, she always did so quickly and often with options to choose from. Her depth of connections meant that when I needed a new photographer with just six weeks to go, she was able to give me at least ten available and talented options in 24 hours. She is a wedding planner pro. Most importantly, she is just a lot of FUN and FUNNY. We enjoyed spending time with her on our monthly check in calls, at tastings, walk throughs, and finally the weekend of the wedding itself. She’s a joyful, quirky, nonjudgmental person who really loves weddings and helping couples have the day of their dreams. She is an LGBTQ affirming vendor which is obviously very important to us as a queer couple. She was extremely RESPONSIVE to all communication and I don’t think I ever waited more than 24 hours to hear back from her. Her planning expertise prior to the actual weekend was invaluable, but she really was our angel during the wedding weekend. “We had the most incredible experience with the Faux Bouquets! From start to finish, Brittany was responsive, caring and efficient! We rented the ‘Moody Romance’ suite and I purchased an add on of a custom bridal bouquet and boutonnière! I had done thorough research on purchasing real flowers and while price was our driving factor, I loved the element of saving on waste with renting and the option to purchase a keepsake! Brittany spent time talking to me so many times about questions I had and was incredibly patient! With the custom bouquet, I was able to upload inspiration photos and she NAILED it! The shipping process was so seamless as well. Brittany provided the tracking numbers and thorough instructions on receiving and then returning the flowers. I pride myself on getting ALL the flowers returned in record time (Brittany said) ;) All of our guests couldn’t believe the flowers were fake and everyone was raving about them! Hi, I’m Isaac. In my world, light is everything. The cool ambient hues at dawn, hinting at what the day may bring. Golden sun rays catching particles through a tree as friends gathers to celebrate. “A few things that stood out the most about Isaac were how responsive he was, how he was able to accommodate to our budget, and how he took pictures from angles and views that turned out great on the photos. As a couple with demanding careers, I much appreciated how quickly Isaac was with replying to emails. We had a pretty tight budget, and Isaac was able to offer us a package that landed pretty close to our budget and only had the items that we needed the most (mini engagement photoshoot for the website and wedding day). Our ask for him was to get some candid shots as we feel pretty awkward in front of the camera. I personally think that the wedding day pictures came out more naturally because of the setting being surrounded with friends and families, and Isaac and Sushen did a great job capturing the candid moments beautifully. Isaac even had an idea for me to pose by climbing up a wooden stair ladder for a shot that I honestly wasn't sure how it was going to turn out while doing it, but it ended up turning out beautiful and magazine-like in addition to other ones that he asked us to pose for. Isaac put together a behind the scenes video that also showed the reactions of guests to our photo place cards before we had entered the reception area, and this was lovely in that we got to see our guests' reactions that we weren't able to see.”

Not a best friend who will just tell you what you want to hear - an actual, true friend who makes sure you look good and puts you in poses she knows work for YOU? Do you want professionalism? With Andrea, you get all of these things... and more! I started the hunt for a photographer when we got engaged in 2019. I somehow landed on Andrea's Facebook and instantly LOVED her style. After reading the bio on her website, I sent an inquiry and almost immediately received the nicest response that didn't simply give me pricing options - oh, no. The first paragraph was just Andrea being so excited for me and asking all the details - how he proposed, how long have we been together, what do we love doing together? And I was sold. I never even inquired with another photographer because I knew this is the person I wanted documenting the most important day(s) of our lives. So, naturally, the world came to a stop right before our planned dinner date to get to know each other (how sweet is she?!) and instead "met" over a Zoom meeting. We discussed that we would be postponing to [this] year. Three hours and one bottle of wine later, we figured out the details for her to come shoot our "mini-mony" wedding on our original date. That day comes and my family couldn't stop talking about how much they adored her! Honestly, she will make you feel like she has known you and your family forever. Okay, I'm probably losing you here so fast forward to our real wedding last weekend and as things go, we got a little bit behind in makeup so Andrea (and her AMAZING second-shooter Rachel) were already at the venue getting the groom shots, details shots, etc. I get there, I'm stressed, not entirely confident in my last-minute coordinator supplied by my venue, and there's Andrea ready to greet me with a huge hug, smile and all the reassuring words a bride needs to hear. Instant relief. When I tell you that Andrea (and Rachel <3) went ABOVE AND BEYOND their job description, I whole-heartedly mean it. She literally bustled my dress and helped me get in/out when I needed to pee. Without this girl, my day would have been unbelievably chaotic and frankly, a mess, but she truly saved it. She will not only photograph your day and produce those breathtaking photos (which she 10000% did because I already got my sneak peeks), but she will be your shoulder to lean on because she truly cares about her brides and loves what she does. I hope this entirely long novel of a review is enough to convince you that Andrea Krout Photography is the right choice, but if not, look at the other stellar reviews and her portfolio because her work speaks for itself.
