They’re not a typical wedding band, and we knew their style and songs were the vibe we wanted. Easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We had planned a 200 person wedding but had to pivot to 25 because of COVID. Mark and the guys were the kindest humans alive, accommodating us and being flexible with every phone call and change in plans. They never badgered us about making decisions, were super responsive, and went with the flow. We looked forward to every call with Mark. They made it so easy and it was one less thing for us to stress over during an already emotional year of planning. From the cocktail music to dinner music to the main performance, they were a huge reason the wedding was so fun and memorable. In fact, my husband and I (and our guests!) begged them to stay an hour past their scheduled stopping time - we were willing to pay whatever they wanted they were so good!! We just didn’t want the night to end. (For those wondering, they so kindly did and it was the best money we ever spent!) “We first saw Enjoy! playing a show at one of our favorite local bars the summer before our wedding and after a few songs, we knew they would be our perfect wedding band. Not only are all of the members extremely talented, but they played an awesome combination of songs that we love dearly from artists like Phish, Jimi Hendrix & Talking Heads. Once we met John and the rest of the band, we knew their personalities meshed so well with ours and it was the perfect match. They were extremely easy to work with when we planned out our song list and gave us great recommendations. When it came to the actual wedding day we were blown away! Not only did they do an awesome job on the songs we requested, they added some more that they felt would keep the party going. We still get comments on how awesome our band was to this day. “Let me start by saying that we are not the type to write reviews for anybody - good or bad - but for the sake of future individuals/couples looking to book PK and the Mighty Seven we feel obligated to say that if you are looking for a band to entertain whatever party you are hosting you MUST choose PK and the Mighty Seven. To start, Matt was incredibly communicative and responsive during the initial planning stages, promptly responding to e-mails and joining several Zoom calls leading up to our event. We had a vision for our special day and they accommodated each and every one of our requests. On the day of they arrived early and did the necessary prep work to ensure they were fully situated to provide our guests with the night of a lifetime. They took special care to accommodate our unusual first dance request, song recommendations, and the ambiance we sought to instill. We had a wide array of guests and the overwhelmingly consistent feedback we received was that the band was AMAZING. No exaggeration - the majority of our guests said they were the best band they'd ever experienced. “Now for the details: Brandon, Kellie, Elmer, and Becky were excellent to work with. They were communicative throughout the entire process and even sent monthly checklists to ensure the wedding planning timeline was ironed out and reminded you of the small details that most folks forget about. It’s the little things like these emails that went above and beyond to make sure our evening went as smoothly as possible. Our DJ, Elmer, was very enthusiastic despite challenges at the beginning of the event – the venue coordinator was very combative with him during set-up – and he didn’t let it affect the energy of the evening. (We didn’t find out until after the wedding date from our other vendors setting up and we had to reach out and ask about it because he didn’t want us to worry at all). He provided a high energy level and hits for dancing the whole evening and stuck to our favorite music vibes. Our photo booth operator, Becky, pulled us aside to take photos in the booth and thank goodness she did because we didn’t get the chance to go in before or after she pulled us aside. She put our guestbook together throughout the evening and it was fun to have something that captured our night to look through the next morning. Signature DJs was reasonably priced considering everything we received - music for ceremony & reception, mics, uplighting for dance floor, photo booth with guest book, monogram, and bubble exit complete with 2 bubble machines and bubbles for individual guests. They were flexible with our requests (customized monogram, unconventional timeline, and last-minute song additions) and had already worked at our venue so they were already familiar with the space which was super helpful because the venue coordinator was awful to work with. They put us at ease and gave us confidence that our day would be wonderful when we were the most stressed. “Luis is a wonderful DJ and helped make our wedding day so much fun! He is super personable, outgoing, and genuinely cares about making sure his couples' big day is everything they want it to be. He was super easy to talk to during our zoom and in-person meetings. The client portal is SO helpful and easy to use. You can customize your playlist however you want and he's great at feeling the crowd! We added on a Photo Booth which was so much fun for everyone! We got to keep a copy and also received the digital downloads. Luis also told our love story while we were cutting our cake which was such a nice touch!
