We got married at Mountainville Manor yesterday and it couldn’t have gone better. Lauren and James flawlessly executed our many many requests, accommodated our food allergies, and made sure that everything ran smoothly so that I, the bride, could (finally) relax. We used two of their recommended vendors: Gillian the florist and Matthew Lask the DJ and they were both fantastic. If you get married here, my one piece of advice is to listen to Mary when she reminds you to eat, otherwise you will miss the delicious food! We couldn’t be happier with our experience.

My wife and I came to them on short notice and with a lot of stress due to the time/money expenses of planning the big day. Renee was unfailingly kind, endlessly patient and always upbeat. Putting it simply, the crew at Adena are wonderful people who are very good at their job. The day itself went off without a single hiccup. Every typical issue that we encountered - such as delays on our part, or things I forgot- was handled before I even fully aware of it. They did their jobs calmly and joyfully, and helped reassure my anxious wife (and my surprisingly anxious self). The location is absolutely beautiful, maintained expertly and decorated perfectly. Our reception was elegant and rustic, with clear views of the blue sky outside making a very pretty backdrop to celebration. The Wooded Cathedral was where we had our reception, and I highly recommend it to anyone who’s dreamed of an outdoor wedding in the country. My wife and I are so happy that we switched venues to Adena. We’re thrilled that they’ve left us with these memories, and we are so happy to call the team at Adena friends. Thank you guys for helping us start a marriage on the highest possible note.

My women's education and networking group, the Women's Professional Network (WPN) held an event at Revel 32 on the evening of June 29. The venue is simply amazing! Beautiful, well laid out for any type of event. On the first floor there is a greeting/social area. When you climb to the top of the beautiful stairway, there is a small area that leads to a larger meeting room. There is a beautiful bar between these 2 rooms. There is also a larger room with a lovely stage. On the third floor there is another room and an exquisite balcony overlooking the second floor. The venue layout was very conducive to a networking event like ours. The hostess ( Judy Hannon) and her team were so hospitable and warm. Parking is readily available next to the building or in the public parking lot across the street. I would highly recommend Revel 32 as a venue for any type of event. I do not have enough words to express how incredible our wedding experience was at Novella’s! From our first meeting, to our final exit the night of our wedding, we experienced the highest level of hospitality and service. Our guests raved about the food, the atmosphere and the staff! Everyone was super friendly, attentive and accommodating. Working with Bryce was like working with a life long friend. He was quick to respond to emails, kept us on track with our planning and brought so much ease to the process. We had full confidence in his team and were able to enjoy our day start to finish. Courtney was an absolute gem! Her and her team truly brought our vision to life on the overnight. She was so attentive throughout our day and I was so lucky to have her to lean on! We cancelled our big wedding due to covid and we were planning to just show up at a local lake and have our wedding ceremony... that is until we saw Rokeby! Marina was very responsive and walked us around the property, which is absolutely exquisite. The grounds have several perfect ceremony locations (in front of the garden, mountain view, on the porch, in front of a very old beautiful tree) and Marina had the ceremony space set up exactly how we had asked. The experience was seamless and our guests continue to talk about how wonderful the estate is. Highly, highly recommend!

An absolute dream of a wedding venue! I recently got married at FVM in early September and could not recommend more. So many positive things to say… see below! First and foremost, the venue is tucked away in the most charming area of the Hudson Valley, surrounded by beautiful greenery and very well-kept grounds. Our guests not only raved about how gorgeous the space was, but also how fantastic the food was (s/o to the King, Chef Charlie), how the drinks were superb (a wedding essential), and how the staff was super helpful and friendly (thank you FVM team)! However, the true gem behind it all is Kerri—the amazing owner of the venue who also becomes your planner/coordinator and helps make the magic happen! Kerri is the most passionate, hardworking gal in the business. She will LITERALLY do anything and everything to make her couples wedding day a dream. As someone who recently relocated to the west coast and was planning our wedding from afar, Kerri went above and beyond to help make our planning experience seamless. She was super cost-conscious and accommodating, helping customize every element of our day and reflect our true vision. Even when the weather was looking not so good and I was stressing (emphasis on the stress), the FVM team had plans A-Z to ensure the day went on perfectly no matter what. And of course Kerri did everything and more to shuffle some things around so that the whole experience and day of remained seamless. What can’t this woman do?? An extra special shout out to her husband Frank who is the man behind the scenes keeping the space perfectly manicured and gorgeous! And of course kudos to my queen Mia (my personal bridal attendant for the day) who kept me dry from the weather, well fed, and took care of us all night! Final comment: this venue is unlike any venue we toured. It is not only a unique and charming space, but also so personable. In fact, through our venue touring process, FVM stood out as the only one to be so focused and dedicated to your event (vs just being another wedding on their list, booking couples back-to-back-to-back, etc.). Kerri, Frank, and the FVM staff truly have the best hearts and complete emotional ownership to your day, making your wedding experience like no other. The biggest and warmest thank you, thank you, thank you! And look no further for where to have your wedding!

We recently had our wedding at The Barn at Black Walnut Farm, and it was extraordinary. From the moment we first toured the venue, we knew it was the perfect place for us. Jim and Sarah have poured so much heart and craftsmanship into restoring this historic barn, preserving its rustic charm while modernizing it in all the right places. 

The property itself is breathtaking, with thoughtfully designed spaces that make you feel completely immersed in nature. The rose garden and front yard provided great photo opportunities, not just for us but for all our guests.
 Our ceremony in the forest site was an absolute dream. The setting created a truly magical, intimate atmosphere. It was the most picturesque backdrop for such a meaningful moment, and we can’t imagine having said our vows anywhere else.
 The true gem of the property, however, is the historic house. Staying in this house was an unforgettable experience, and my family is already looking forward to returning for years to come.
 The Barn at Black Walnut Farm is more than just a venue—it’s an experience and a place where memories are made. Jim and Sarah are not just venue owners; they are passionate, thoughtful hosts who truly care about every couple’s special day. We were so lucky to celebrate our wedding at A Private Estate, and it truly exceeded all of our expectations. When we were searching for a venue, we visited A Private Estate in the depth of winter during a snowstorm, but even then, we immediately knew it was the perfect place for us. Ripley, the owner, was friendly and direct, and it was clear she genuinely cared about making sure people had an amazing experience. The property was beautifully maintained, and the convenience of having the Carriage House accommodation along with the barn for the reception made it a much better value than most other venues we considered. We chose to have our ceremony outside, overlooking the Hudson River, which created a breathtaking and peaceful setting for our vows. The manor house made for a stunning backdrop for our family photos, adding a touch of elegance to the day. We held our reception in the barn, which we highly recommend to other couples. The rustic charm of the space, combined with the elegance of the estate, created the perfect atmosphere for our celebration. Our mid-August wedding was made even more memorable by the beauty and ambiance of the setting. The property manager, Jack, went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect. Not only did he assist us with practical matters, like putting up blinds in the Carriage House to help our family members' kids sleep, but he also saved the day when a special bottle of wine we had intended to keep was accidentally thrown out by the caterers. Jack took it upon himself to dig it up and return it to us—an act of kindness we won’t forget. We are incredibly grateful for the hospitality and attention to detail from both Jack and Ripley. The Bird and Bottle Inn was the perfect fairytale setting for our wedding. From the beginning, there were many emails back and forth to get all the details just right, but the staff was incredibly responsive and professional throughout the entire planning process. But they really shined the day of the wedding. The set-up and ceremony went so smoothly, they made sure everything was taken care of. Even last minute timeline switches like cutting the cake earlier in the night was made easy. We also were able to stay at the inn and get ready there which made things much easier on us. They had our signature drinks, champagne, and food ready and waiting for all the guests as soon as the ceremony was over. I have been to weddings where the entire cocktail hour we were just waiting on line to get a drink, this was perfectly set up. Drinks were also being continually poured and served at an inside and an outside bar, and if you couldn’t make it to the bar there was always a server nearby to help. There was even one server who was assigned just to us, he went above and beyond, always made sure we had anything we needed, always getting us drinks or more food, it was wonderful. And the food… the food was simply amazing - usually wedding food can be boring, or like it was just mass produced and pumped out of the kitchen, but their food was perfect. I am still thinking about the short rib and our guests are still raving about it over a month later. Literally one guest saying it was the best food they ever had at a wedding. And the space is so beautiful, there are so many lovely place for photos, and really makes it seem like you are in an enchanted place. The bridge over the little babbling brook for a first look, the garden ceremony by the pond, the cocktail hour on the patio, are just to name a few of the perfect spots on the property. And having our Photo Booth inside on the velvet couch was a unique touch guests really enjoyed! Not to mention getting our own private cottage to stay in! We also were able to move inside to the bar after the wedding was over with just the couple guests that were staying with us at the Inn and it was a lovely way to wind down after all the festivities were over. The entire team at The Bird and Bottle Inn truly went above and beyond to ensure our special day was everything we dreamed it would be. We couldn't have asked for a more magical venue to celebrate our love

Constructed soon after the Great Fire of 1902, The United Bank Building was built to house two banks whose previous buildings had been destroyed, New Milford Savings Bank and the New Milford First National Bank. The two banks immediately organized to rebuild, quickly agreeing in principal to build a joint facility on the site of the New England House, a locally well known tavern and inn located at the corner of Bank and Main Street. For most of its life, the building had been used in some form of a bank, but had been largely under-used in recent decades, and had fallen into disrepair. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 and taken over by Village Green Investments in 2015. After 9 months of renovations, the building became 19Main. Throughout renovations, we strived for modern amenities with historic elegance; three vaults remain from the building’s former bank days.

We are so pleased and happy with 19Main's venue and team, for us, it was Kylie. We decided to have our October 2025 wedding at 19Main due to it's unique building - the vaults, mezzanine, and large bridal and groom suites sealed the deal as well as being right on the beautiful New Milford town square. We reserved the venue in early January 2025 and worked with Kylie who guided us through site tours and being our main point of contact in general. We opted to rent the entire building and have a day-of coordinator (Kylie) and access to place settings (glassware, silverware, china). We are thankful we went with the 'expanded wedding package.' On the weeks leading up to the wedding, we had multiple vendor meetings and Kylie served as the linchpin for everything and she was incredibly organized. On the day, we had guests moving between the two large spaces (ceremony to cocktail hour to reception) with plenty of space to explore. The guests were thrilled to see an old bank be converted to such a beautiful venue. 19Main really left an impression on us and our guests - we couldn't be happier to have had the pleasure of getting married there and working alongside Kylie.

We started the wedding planning process by starting to look at venues. Falkirk was the first venue we had toured and immediately fell in love with it. From seeing the golf course, the waterfall, the gazebo, and incredible views, it was breathtaking and we imagined ourselves getting married there immediately. We met with Andrea during our tour, and had the pleasure of getting to work with her throughout our planning process, and was absolutely incredible on the day of our wedding! She made herself available to answer our (many) questions, going over timelines, and ensuring that our vision and dreams for the day came true. They had it all, from phenomenal staff to incredible food, not to mention the stunning views. We could not have asked for better! They truly make you feel like a VIP throughout the entire wedding weekend. Andrea was an absolute gem to work with, and made sure everything we dreamed of came true. And when we got the opportunity to have fireworks during our reception?! To this day, we have friends and family still talking about the firework show. Andrea worked seamlessly with other vendors and the firework staff to make sure it was a surprise show that no one would forget. Our wedding day was a dream, and we are so glad we had it at the Falkirk Estate and Country Club. We are so incredibly happy we got the pleasure to work with them, and would recommend any couples that are starting the wedding planning process, to reach out to them.

Still riding the high from our wedding weekend! We were absolutely floored by all the work Jen and Ally and the whole Stagecoach team did to make our wedding weekend spectacular! They have several different packages that you can choose from which allowed us to find something that truly worked for us. We ended up having around 115 guests for the wedding and the space was just perfect! We had been to the Inn for dinner before and we knew we wanted to make food a priority. Chef Jerrel hit it out of the park for the rehearsal dinner, the cocktail hour/reception, and the brunch the next morning! Also because they have rooms upstairs, we were able to have our closest family stay and not have to worry about any travel! We couldn't recommend them enough!

My wife and I met and got engaged in the Catskill Mountains, so it was so important to us that we also got married there. We found Spillian from an online search, and my wife was instantly drawn to the place; I was skeptical. But after touring it for the first time and meeting the owners - Mark and Leigh - it was apparent this was the only place we would want to get married. At Spillian there are no rules, and intentionality is the driving force behind every decision. From the food, to the people, to the actual wedding day, if you can dream it they can accommodate it. We wanted to do our rehearsal dinner there, and they asked us what we wanted for food. I tentatively proposed a build-your-own Bahn Mi bar and Mark wrote back a delicious, detailed menu, complete with boba tea. The food was excellent, and the fact that they have some rooms for you and some guests to stay on site made it even more special. We elected to have our bridal party there and it was so nice to be able to spend some time with them before and after the wedding. We came with all of our own decorations, and our flowers were dropped off the night before, and we were nervous about getting everything set up that day. But Alex and Sam, our day-of coordinators, took care of everything and make it look even better than we had ever imagined. And when it came to the day of, we were so overwhelmed that it was hard to make snap decisions. Sam and Alex were so patient with us, and really helped guide us through the day. I can't sing their praises enough but will publicly thank them here for allowing us to have the wedding of our dreams.

I loved photographing Kelsey & Alex's micro wedding at The Spinning Wheel! The afternoon was so calm and easy with the Katlyn's great organization and the rest of the staff. The flowers and appeal of the venue is stunning in the spring and summer. For it being a small venue, there are still tons of different photo opportunities.

Your wedding at Bellavista Country Estate will include a two night or longer stay at the beautiful 12,000 square foot estate for up to 16 guests. The property is located on 60 private acres in picturesque Hudson Valley. Amenities include nearly 2,000 square feet of beautifully appointed bridal & groom men’s suites. Perfect for photo ops, the estate also includes a game room with air hockey, pinball, card table, home theater, an in-house gym, library, five full bathrooms, library and fully stocked kitchen .. all for the wedding couple, family and friends to enjoy during their stay.
